    Answer is... you don't have to change it. You simply continue to employ the people who are good at their job and are interested in it enough... not force people to do the job because of a need to solve equality.
    That's when you get ininspiring people doing a job out of necessity instead of a natural love for it - or worse, people who lie about their qualifications or interest in a job, get employed and then destroy the basis of what made the company a success in the first place by injecting their own uninterested self-gratifying ideas (e.g. most directors and producers employed by Disney to create Star Wars series).

      @@birdstwin1186 I suspect this is an astroturfed science person. Rather than being an actual science person, who says sciency things, she'll tell us about the current thing, while everyone tells us how clever she is. Which is odd because she didn't seem particularly clever, a bit dim even.

    people like this say they are all for diversity yet discriminate against white men because they make most of the inventions and scientific in WHITE countries, stem is a male industry, men choose to work in these industries because they love it, people like this just hate that everything isnt 100% diverse, it doesnt have to be, and it physically cant.
    also this womans ego is absolutely huge, half the video is her talking about her achievements

    So their BEST example (a "GENIUS WOMAN") has apparently got a plethora of degrees and sits on a hundred boards and is invited to lots of TV shows - BUT has contributed NOTHING WHATSOEVER of actual technical value! Her top technical achievement - highlighted in this quarter of an hour BBC video - is to take apart (break) a VCR when she was four. Wow! It's no wonder we are SO DESPERATE to have these "GENIUS WOMEN" in the tech industry! Who wouldn't want such high achievers!

    She‘s brilliant. A visionary who’s not simply caught up in her own discipline. From some comments one can tell that some are simply terrified by these kind of new thinkers. They have every reason to do so. The only way to remain ahead of AI is to think and act cross disciplinary as Ms. Imafidon does. So dear haters, fasten your seatbelts because you’re about to be taken for a real rough ride by people like her if you don’t change your way of thinking- regardless of gender or ethnicity!

    DEI is a tax on businesses. Hire the best people. If businesses select from the best women - you ignore 50% of the hiring pool. An absurd and easily avoidable self inflicted injury

    Well this is confusing. For starters, the title and the thumbnail don't match up. Next, if the implication is intended to be having women in the tech industry, the title shouldn't be changing the tech industry, because no change is needed, women are already fully present in tech industry. This leads me to point three, why is the BBC always wasting everyone's time with some cooked up bs?

    8:58 Coding needs to be part of the Curriculum and awarded the same respect as Compulsory Subjects:
    1. Imagine children doing Maths and knowing how to code your equations
    2. Imagine being able to simulate your Science hypothesis through (coding) computational models
    3. Accountants not only being experts at Excel but able to code their own future Stock Markets analysis and Evaluate companies accounting software's and Enterprise resource planning processes all in 1x 3D Meterverse
    4. Lol with English you become a great Lawyer or Politician. No need for coding here 😂😂😂😂

    Women HAVE changed the tech industry - they've made it TWICE as BAD, delivering HALF the features in DOUBLE the time while adding a whole slew of utterly INSANE HR policies. Now everyone now has to walk around on eggshells and attend "diversity so good" and "build great teams by speaking nicely" seminars incessantly during office hours while any actual work is done by a few geeks on their own time. And apparently the BBC wants MORE of this. Lovely!
