    Great video... I'm glad you took the time to explain many details... taking the video while you're working and explaining at the same time , slows you down.
    Thank you!

    You forgot something. You need to bend down the edges of the keyed washer on the inner tie rod to keep the tie rod from unscrewing from the steering rack.

    • @Marty09933

      Hi Shore Line usually it the side you turn to . If you turn right and it clicks it’s the right one if you turn left and it clicks it’s the left hope that helps and thank you for watching I appreciate you

      Hi @@Henry-e4x I don’t think I leaked any fluid on that one. I can’t remember but just try to measure what you leak and then put the same amount back into the vehicle. Hope that helps you. Thanks for watching. I really appreciate you.

      @@Marty09933 thank you. Is it the same as the green tie rod end removal tool? I was looking for that green tool for the inner tie rod & also, did you buy oem axles or if not what brand axle? Every time I reverse into driveway from a stop and I hear a poppin noise when turning wheels. Could that be axle or tie rod? I have the 07 with 187k miles

    • @Marty09933
      @Marty09933  4 роки тому +1

      @@samukahtviv1 no sorry that one is for the outer tie rods . the green one is for inner tie rods you can rent it at auto-zone kinda expensive I think about $150.00 maybe ? But of course you get your money back when you return it. As for the popping hard to tell need more info . But from my experience a single pop is usually a balljoint. Continuously popping CV axle . Jack up car and take a long rod and put under tire and have someone pull up and down on it and look for movement in tie rod and ball joints ...........www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=DChcSEwj03_ubzsfuAhWD8MAKHcW5A4UYABA0GgJpbQ&sig=AOD64_3gauQPRj4w8jA746cCuOyKI7U5CQ&ctype=5&q=&ved=0ahUKEwjOi_abzsfuAhUJTawKHYgHAVsQww8Ingk&adurl=

      @@Marty09933 thank you! your video explained everything perfectly in details, it gave me confidence as a first diy'er... ok i will check on that. I Brought this car used lol since then ive been repairing little things each time. Next i got to replace rear control arm and one of the bolts seized into the rear spindle...smh..Once you repair one thing, another goes bad. Makes you wonder if its worth repairing anymore for that many miles.

  • @TheodorePendergrass
    @TheodorePendergrass 3 роки тому +2

    You was lucky, that bearing won't just tap out like that, if the car has high mileage, you will have to cut hte axle and remove the whole bracket and shaft and knock it out outside the car, and then it's still will be tough.

    • @Marty09933
      @Marty09933  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Theodore Pendergrass your right I was Hoping it wouldn’t be stuck .I’ve done them before when they are stuck and it is hell not only those I’ve done other jobs that do not cooperate with you and it’s terrible thank God this one just cooperated with me. Thanks for your comment . thanks for watching I appreciate you

    • @TheodorePendergrass
      @TheodorePendergrass 3 роки тому +1

      @@Marty09933 I wish someone would have told me, I put mines back together to figure out how i can cut it out. My bearing sits in with the transmission motor mount, and the cv axle block one of the bolts to take the motor mount loose, if I can cut it in 2 places, I can remove the mount and knock the bearing out, they're no other way around it. Your video was spot on, just wanted to warn folks, that they don't always come out that easy.
