- A bit of a departure for me. A review of a new watch. I am very impressed with this watch from Cincinnati Watch Company. It is elegantly designed with great forthought and attention to detail. This watch is light, comfortable, and very attractive and has the quality of being greater than the sum of its parts.

Great video. I thought it was really great learning about the intended perception of geometric shapes, in relation to case shapes and the snub by Cin Watch Co. I have not seen that in a review video before, I believe. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and appreciate you’re doing your own thing.

Love the design ! I’m mad I missed the initial orders. I’ve been waiting for the release this summer. I love a good quartz watch with great design.
Agreed 👍 They did a fantastic job and with the sharpness of the design the tick of the second hand fits very well. Interesting thing is, the Gruen Pan Am Veri-Thin this watch was partially based on was actually even thinner than that with the mechanical movement it had.

Fantastic review of the Captain. I really wish I had seen this watch before it was already sold out. They do say more may be available this summer, but your review just threw my patience out of the water. I reached out to all i know who own this hoping they were looking to move on from it, however everyone is head over heels in love with their piece. Congrats to you and the rest of the owners. Hopefully sometime this summer, I can purchase one from Cinci WatchCo.

Thank you so much. This one took me much longer than the other vids I've done, but I really wanted to do the watch justice. Even at that, after posting, I realized there was much more I wish I would have said. Well that and I never put it on my wrist 😅
@@evelcustom9864 It was a superb video. Definetly not the same 'ol watch review we tend to see on here. There aren't many reviews of this on youtube so another video down the line from it would I'm sure be welcomed.

I actually chatted with Rick Bell about this. He said that they really wanted to make sure it was thin and unfortunately there were not mechanical movements that met the thinness specs they wanted.

@@evelcustom9864 I originally saw pictures of the watch on Instagram and thought to myself, "well, it looks fantastic for the price point, what's the catch?" And decided I'd go looking for a review. Your's was the first I found and it told me everything I needed to know!
