- Bon Jovi performing Dry County live at Milton Keynes Bowl 19th September 1993, I was there near the front and this song was fantastic. Incredible guitar playing by Richie and amazing vocals by Jon back in the day.
Jon's speech before the song -
Every day a man wakes up and every day a man tries to pour himself a cup of coffee and take a long hard look in the mirror.
And sometimes what he looks at he doesn't like, sometimes what he sees makes him angry, sometimes what he sees makes him sad. Sometimes what he sees is himself and that dissappointment gets into you and rips you apart piece by piece. Sometimes you can just lay down, you can play the game, you can take the cards that they deal you, you can just pretend it's all over BUT NOT ME!!
One of the best concerts before I moved to Florida USA
I saw Bonjovi 54 times in total and this was the fortieth gig of theirs I went to and I remember it wit fond memories. I was lucky enough to roadie for them in a few gigs when one of their crew had left, I was lucky enough to have met them backstage at a few gigs, I was lucky enough to have met them in hotels they stayed in, I was lucky enough to be in the i'll be there for you video and was certainly lucky enough to have enjoyed them the 54 times that I went to see them. Bonjovi was a huge part of my life from 85 through to about 94. Brilliant memories, brilliant concerts and an amazing live band. I feel blessed to have experienced all that :-)
Never missed a tour yet, sometimes more than once
The BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE OF THIS ANTHEM! I remenber had this version on MP4 when I was a teenager.
the greatest ever.I even got the single ! Love and fire !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...to you because if you're not happy, you're in a hell of a lot going, you know. All the money in the world don't mean nothing, all the success in the world means even less. So we all went our seperate ways and we went to and find something and I got on a motorcycle and I went out and I went to go see the country. What I found - I liked a lot! What I found was a lot of people who were the same kinds of things I was, so it didn't get me down, but it - sort of - fueled the whole process...
I was there, queued for hours, best concert ever, all supporting acts rocked, bon jovi brought tears to my eyes, idols. Nuff said
I was there too.Third row back, lots of famous names there too. We saw them arrive in their helicopter and all that stuff,it was beyond great.Jon Bon Jovi just had his hair cut short.I will never forget.BRILLIANT.
This was my first concert went to both Saturdays and sundays gigs needless to say was hooked forever best live act of our gen thats for sure !
David is just brilliant!!!
Tico is wild and Jon is a great performer!!!
And Sambora is the perfection, a soul playing a guitar!!!
Thank you! A couple of years ago we took a little bit of a break. We got off the road, we stopped making records. I think for a while we stopped living. What we had to do was runaway from something we loved to see if we liked it anymore. And after living for, I guess, at the time, about seven, almost eight years out of the suitcase we had to go home and see what those four letters meant. When you sit by yourself and you gotta stare in that mirror you gotta see if what you did makes any sense...
Billy Idol ,Manic Street Preachers and Little Angels just brilliant.3rd row back,it was just brilliant.
I was there! We were coming from Leeds and missed Manic Street Preachers but I did see Little Angels, Billy Idol and of course Bon Jovi. An amazing gig and I feel honoured to have been there :)
Best Dry County performance.
I was there that night, along with the video that played. That was from the heart he was back in Dry County.

this was epic

I was there to. Billy Idol was before them and (was it the Alarm or LIttle Angels before that?) Anway - left halfway through Big Jobby's set. Girly "lighters in the air" chant along nursery rhyme bollox masquerading as rock music
Billy Idol was the show!
anyone have vid of this great performance...fukn awesome
This version of dry county is not dated 19, it's from another show, I have the audience and nothing to do with this one that you uploaded, it is said that it was recorded in the studio and they added public
The bootleg recording of the concert out there is from the Saturday night i think when they didn’t play Dry County as they only played it 1 night out of the 2, I was there at the MK bowl for both nights and Jon definitely gave the speech about getting on his motorcycle and seeing the country etc during the intro, he changed the speech each time they played the song at different venues and the song was performed exactly as per the CD so there’s no doubt in my mind that this is the live version at Milton Keynes. I was quite near the stage too.
I was there too, they were actually this good live at that moment, possibly their best tour musically. They were totally on it.
This was from the Sunday, we were the best crowd...

What he said at the beginning?
he said in English as: Thank you!
