I just got my crumpet rings in the mail. Can't wait to try your recipe since it is a bit different from the one I used yesterday. My rings are not as tall as yours, but better than the egg rings I had been using. It seems Amazon doesn't carry the tall ones.

Why do you use milk rather than water?
you should not use mile only water and they will be more fluffy with holes , yours look to much like bread dough, to think!!!

Grease your rings
Yes you need to grease the "Crumpet" rings other wise they may stick!😂
