Not Wednesday I don’t see it that way at all! How many people are subscribed to people and just eventually stop watching their content, or just never unsubbed! I had not watched joeys videos in a long while and the last I saw was adopting a cat and it just seemed forced like the cat was a prop!

💖💖 I'm in an incredibly toxic relationship, I've been with him for 16 years (I'm 33 now) we have 2 teenage daughters and I'm struggling with how to end things. I dont have any support, I lost my job as a school bus driver, im in debt and very close to losing my apartment. Theres things holding me back and I feel damaged and mentally exhausted. I'm trying to move things forward and finally end this b.s I'm calling a life but I'm struggling as I said.. lots of things I'd rather not discuss on here. I think you're doing so well. I've not had a breakup as such, but my fiance died which was devastating and when you said about waking up in the morning and nobody being there, I got a lump in my throat because I think of everything you can go through, that's the hardest thing to get used to. But you will. And I promise you things will work out the way they're meant to. I'm happier now than I've ever been, but it took time on my own to get to know me again before I could let anyone else in. You're so lovely, and your videos are always so inspiring and so genuine. i'm not sure if this sounds weird but seeing or reading about people going throuh break ups where there is still care for one another and still wanting to be friends. Makes me feel less alone about my break up, (none of my friends have gone through this sort of break up so i felt very alone which added to the depression) me and my ex broke up in September, the first thing he said when breaking up was "i will always be here for you as a friend", it is partly the best but hardest part about the break up, we wanted to be there for each other as friends but we still needed time. Feelings do keep bubbling up again everynow and then, a sad day often happens after that, it has been really difficult but it gets slowly easier over time, it still hurts but just a bit less. I hope you keep getting better Daniel, take care of yourself and too everyone recovering from a break up whether it happened recently oe a long time ago, you are not alone
Georgia Packet I can relate! I was with my husband for 14 years, before marriage, married for 11+ years. We are still married but apart. He does a lot for me and I do what I can for him. We are friends but it’s weird. I still love him, always will. He says doesn’t love me, which is why we broke up. Not sure why he doesn’t file for divorce yet, it’s been over 3 years since he left. I’m totally broke, can’t afford to file, plus I have a disabled, bipolar adult son with me.

@d2h that's not always the case, for the first month or so yes a bit of time a part but sometimes individuals do still care and want to remains friends if they can. Me and my ex aren't best friends anymore but we're still friends, I want to see him be happy one day because nearer the end I could see he was unhappy with me. He's still helped me when I needed it. And now I'm back to looking for dates, he said he'll be my wingman and help me get dates, he's tried to help with that several times. He wants me to be happy too. I'm sorry if someone hurt you to the point you think you can't be friends with an ex.

Daniel, from what I've seen, your a grand caretaker. And your good at it. I think that not having someone else to focus on, your feeling your emotions searching for that, it's part of who you are. Take this as the time to caretake yourself, which is always a good thing, Not to mention a good life lesson to not let a relationship get in the way of you taking care of you. And I'm not saying that's what you did, but like you've said, one should always strive for balance. What a great theme for you at this time in your life.

I can relate to having a Dad that has Bipolar and struggles with addiction. So happy that even though there were a lot of tuff times, I still have a lot of good memories of him. He passed away last October, miss him a lot.

Sending you love. I have the exact thing with my dad except he is still here. He has had strokes and a heart attack and is currently back in rehab. It's really tough everytime I hear he is in the hospital I worry I will lose him. I am just trying to make the best of the situation and be there for him. I am the only one out of 5 kids who still talks to him.

I unfortunately can relate to people taking sides in a breakup. I lost people I considered family for 20 years when I left my husband, and it hurt, more than the end or the relationship for me. It's their loss, and you will probably be better off than having fake people around you anyway.

I love your combination videos, were you combine vlogging and production. I would love to see videos in this style of you decorating, gardening, traveling and cooking. Please don't ever feel the pressure to daily vlog, since 2012-2014 the vlogging has changed so much. There is so much more hate and were once viewers were just supportive and interested, now a part of the viewers feel like they have a right to know and comment on everything. It has changed many vloggers and created a lot of anxiety among them, I find it really sad. There is so much more pressure now behind videos, I just hope you'll share a bit about you passions. Do what is right for you and protect yourself from being overwhelmed by the internet, what you share with us is a gift and not a obligation like some people seem to think it is. i’m going through the same situation, we broke up in january and decided to stay friends and it’s so difficult, it definitely gets easier but there’s days when the feelings just creep back up and you have some down days. I’ve taken the time to try figure out who I am as a person and not as a “couple”. I hope your doing well and just know that day by day it will get better 💖 so excited for your new series, watching your videos makes me so happy just now because I feel everything your feeling x
me and my ex broke up in September, we are still friends as well, it makes me feel at ease a bit that i'm not the only person going through a break up where we actually stay friends and actually understans how hard it is, but i agree it does get easier over time, it's still hard these many months after but gets easier. @@jenallen1430 it really does help knowing other people go through this kind of break up, I love my friends and they mean well but they've never been through a break up where you end up being friends after. I feel like I've thought similar things, "should I still be friends with him, is this the right thing to do". I think I during the time my ex felt bad so when I got depressed he helped find me counselling and has remained a good friend to this day but there are some days where I really do miss him and wonder if it's healthy for me to still be friends with him. I often believe things happen for a reason, we broke up for a reason, maybe theres someone better in the future or may I just need time for myself and work on taking care of myself. OMG! We are twinners because we have the same birthday. We're almost twinners because you left home at 16, while I left at 17. Shared a one window room with three other sisters, and felt it was time to get out there after graduating high school. First apartment was a second floor with a balcony; $100 a month fully furnished. Now, we are talking about the early 70's here. At 67 years, still living in a second floor apartment somewhere else. But, as the building was sold to a new owner, my name went on the deed that I cannot be put out, or my rent raised, for the rest of my life. I have been truly blessed. I am glad, Pretty Eyes, that you have been listening to me whispering in your ear, "Love yourself first." That's your mantra in life. Love you so much, and looking forward to more videos. xxoo

I know it probably isn't your favorite topic, but I find all these break-up questions and answers so reassuring. I'm also currently going through the biggest heartbreak of my life during arguably one of the worst times to do so. So thanks for that, I'm hoping for a really reflective recovery for the both of us.

I literally kept watching Joey's channel after I kinda grew away from his content just for you and to see you. I am living for this side of Daniel being out and about more now. Can't wait for all your new content coming it looks so to die for.
I find it interesting and I hate to say it funny that we know we are depressed by not picking up after ourselves. Lol. I thought I was the only one. I am not a neat person but I will put my dishes up and toss my trash but lately its been even harder to get up. I have my son so I have to get up because well I am a mom thats my job. But I feel drained.
Anyways I hope everyone gets through this and know we are never alone in what we feel or do because their is someone out their feeling or doing the samething so let's do positive things. Love you all.
I am a very empathetic person that also suffers from major depressive disorder. So with that said I feel emotions and energy of others. Honestly since the 1st of the year I noticed your energy shift and I unfortunately felt like the break up was in the near future. I don't really know how or why I am able to feel others emotions and energy but some times it is overwhelming. But if my understanding of what someone else feels can help them in anyway then the inner struggle is worth it. I love love your energy now, you exude an energy of freshness and renewal that is glowing. Also so proud of your strength.

I felt that your maturity just wasnt showcased or appreciated before. I enjoyed the gardening segments but Joey always made jokes and made fun of them so they weren't taken seriously....I'm really loving your channel and have discovered so much that I like here!!
