Some of my favorite episodes were the christmas ones. Thank you WB ! Now please do a special or a limited series event !! Just bring back the Winslows and Urkel !!
My favorite Christmas episode was the last seasons Christmas episode when Rachel and Mother Winslow returned for the episode. Unfortunately, Judy wasn't there due to the actress Jaimee Foxworth being let go in season 4.
In the Last season Christmas episode was the final appealing of the Original Harriet, Mother Winslow Rachel and Richie love all the Christmas episodes of Family Matters.
1:22 - My favorite episode.. Steve as the Winslows' favorite, loving son and Laura is the annoying nerd.. it's like the comedy version of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE.
Technically no, because in It's A Wonderful Life, the character finds out what would happen had he never been born. Laura just finds out what it's like to walk in someone else's shoes.
Kellie Shanygne-Williams was incredible as Laura Urkel. Honestly, I liked her imitation of Steve Urkel more than the original Urkel. Even as Laura Winslow, she's imitated the voice of Steve Urkel, but man, her performance as Laura Urkel was so spot on.
2:38 I wonder why they cut the part where Laura Urkel says, (Hey what you got there Big gal to Harriet, Can I lick your chimney?) Those were some of my favorite lines!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've been binge watching Family Matters for about a month now. I was just thinking the exact thing!! How much things have changed especially the holidays!! These Christmas episodes were some of my favorites!!
@Musiclover19 I know, I don't see why people can't figure that out. I grew up in the 90's but even i understand it's special because it was MY childhood
I've always found episodes with a "It's A Wonderful Life" story theme very enjoyable especially when certain characters needed to "walk a mile in another's shoes" to either see the error of their behavior towards others or some other life lesson along that line.
I love all the episodes of Christmas seasons and also Telma Hopkins aka Rachel reunited with Richie play by Bryton James and JoMarie Payton last episode finale along with Rosetta LeNoire aka Grandma Winslow
My cousin got a Steve Urkle doll for Christmas one year and she hated it. It was like we got her a Chucky doll or something. My uncle would put it next to her in the bed and she would wake up screaming. One time he threw it in the tub when she was taking a bath, she ran naked thru the entire house lmao😂
Laura was pretty as a Nerd too. Good performance by Kellie. Laura had to learn a lesson, Nerds are still PEOPLE and they have FEELINGS. I can't imagine loving someone with all your heart and them not being able to stand you.
Kellie did a great job for this role as Steve. lol. They made her a cute nerdy girl. This episode is a lesson for us to teach others with kindness and respect even if they drive us crazy.
This show had some of the very best Christmas episodes. Season 5 episode 11 was such a great episode. I cried on that one, and a few others. Thanks for showing this. Great memories here. 🥲❤
How interesting would it have been if Laura had transformed into Urkel for an entire episode, alongside Steve Urkel as a sidekick for one episode together? Just saying! LOL.
Were there relly toys like that space helmet in the 50's? Here in Sweden, kids were playing with toys made of wood and pinecones at that time - or so, I've been told. I wasn't born until 1976.
Are international versions of Max ever getting sitcoms which are not Friends and Two and a Half Men? Or do we have to wait for WB Television to be spun off?
The one thing I disliked about Steve Erkle & Carlton Banks was the fact that if they did those 2 shows on radio 📻 people could infer that they were 2 white characters

Meaning of Christ-mas IS The Birth of Jesus Christ; GOD came to earth Luke chapters 1-2 Matthew chapters 1-2 Isaiah 7:14; 9:5-6 1 Timothy 3:16 Not Santa and elves, A tree, presents, decor, gingerbread house
1 Corinthians 7:34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
Seeing Steve and Laura switch places was hilarious 😂 She did a great job playing that role.

OK in the beginning Steve is like crazy bugs obsessed with backbone Lola . But this alternate reality it’s like marlin being annoyed by dory.
Kellie Williams nailed the Urkell
BETTER than Urkel. Turnabout is fair play.
Jaleel felt Kellie was his match in acting!
Definitely! That was awesome!!! 😂🤣😂🤣
She sure did lol 😅 you can tell he tried not to laugh because it was too funny.
I THINK "JUDY" JAIMEE FOXWORTH COULD HAVE PULLED OFF PLAYING URKEL TOO

Christmas was so much more magical in the 90s.
That’s because you were a child in the 90s.
Agreed
I've been binge watching Family Matters for about a month now. I was just thinking the exact thing!! How much things have changed especially the holidays!! These Christmas episodes were some of my favorites!!

@Musiclover19

You missed the part where Steve tells Carl, "don't touch me you greedy little Grinch!"
I've always found episodes with a "It's A Wonderful Life" story theme very enjoyable especially when certain characters needed to "walk a mile in another's shoes" to either see the error of their behavior towards others or some other life lesson along that line.
Seasons 1 and 3 were the only seasons not to have a Christmas episode.
Fantastic acting. 2024 Christmas.
I love this video it's showing how others treat someone else
Yup. 😊
I love all the episodes of Christmas seasons and also Telma Hopkins aka Rachel reunited with Richie play by Bryton James and JoMarie Payton last episode finale along with Rosetta LeNoire aka Grandma Winslow
Season 9's Christmas episode "Deck The Mall" was the last episode to feature the original Harriette, Mother Winslow, Rachel, and Richie.
I wish deck the malls was the last family matters episode
I always like Steve he’s my favorite actor ! 😊

OK, regular Steve definitely sounds like the original sonic without his squeaky voice.
He was pre-Stefan
Laura played the hell outta Steve role
. &&&& I love Christmas episodes of alll television shows . . ..⛄❤️
I miss this show so much 😞
I have to say laura does a good female steve urkel
What about the episode when Carl is in Los Angeles and helped a New York City police officer lol
I bet lots of kids got that steve urkel doll in toys r us in the early 90s.
Christmas in the 90s was the best 😭
This show had some of the very best Christmas episodes. Season 5 episode 11 was such a great episode. I cried on that one, and a few others. Thanks for showing this. Great memories here. 🥲❤

8:42 does that include Judy
Too funny crazy awwwww family 😂❤😊
All right 1st Jaleel White was funny, Now Laura is Urkel!!!
carl should have put santa in the crossface chickenwing after playing favorites not giving him his favorite toy.
Just the fact there actually was a urkel doll in real life just makes that scene funnier
She playing that part
Laura was urkelized
Steve was just a regular guy
Oh no !! 😂😂😂😂
Jaleeel used his Sonic the Hedgehog voice for Steve Winslow.
And definitely sounds like him without his squeaky voice. it’s like he met the original Amy Rose if she ever played that role once.
Of pre Stefan
Wow I love this!
Laura EVEN was lookin' like WHAT I'm a NERD?!!!...😲
Love this show 😁😍😁😁😍😁😍😁😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄

Christmas was more meaningful when my mom was alive 😢!!
Steve has his good points if he ain't annoying the hell out of people ❤❤❤❤❤❤
