Lyrics:
"Everybody be cool, this is a robbery!"
"Any of you fucking pricks move
And I'll execute every motherfucking last one of you!"
Me and Fast got the gats, we're out to rob a bank
We got Steve outside, carrying a full pack
Now everything's cool and everthing's smooth
I walked up to the teller, I gave her the letter
She gave me the loot with puckered up lips
And a wink that I found cute, and I said,
"Baby, baby, baby"
(Is this some Kharmic-Chi love thing happening here baby or what)
By that time Fast tapped me with the nine
He said it's time to blow, ya know, so out the door we go
Back to the ride with Steve inside and alive, off we drive
See, I hurt my lower lumbar, you know we'll never get far
Riding around in a stolen police car
So we dropped it off and piled in a Caddy
Steve was driving 'cause I had to talk to my man about something
"Look, I don't know anything about any fucking set-up
You can torture me all you want"
"Torture you, that's good, that's a good idea, I like that one"
Running around robbing banks
All whacked off of Scooby Snacks
Running around robbing banks
All whacked off of Scooby Snacks
And I don't give a fuck about the hell's gate
Ain't punkin' the crowd and I'm still standing up straight
So, we pull these jobs to make a little money
No one gets hurt if they don't act funny
On the way to the yacht, we almost got caught
Fast is shooting mailboxes, not knowing where the cop is, yeah
They're at the Dunkin Donuts, adjacent from the Fromans
Whose mailbox Fast had just exploded
They gave chase, but my man Steve's an ace
And we lost those brothers with haste
We casted off and along we went
Off Bermuda to an island resort we rented
"Sonny, I need you cool"
"Are you cool?"
"I am cool"
Running around robbing banks
All whacked off of Scooby Snacks
Running around robbing banks
All whacked off of Scooby Snacks
Running around robbing banks
All whacked off of Scooby Snacks
Running around robbing banks
All whacked off of Scooby Snacks

Reservoir Dogs / Pulp Fiction references, doesn't get more 90s than that.
"Fire water burn" 01.01.96. Reference.
And Dog Day Afternoon
Not so much references as direct samples!
I was just about to watch Pulp Fiction with my 21 yr old son and had to play this for him first, I didn't remember Reservoir Dogs was referenced too 👍
@@dustinwilson4017 the whole premise of the music video is resoivior dogs 😄
At some point in the 2060s when I hit the "old-folks home", I hope there is a group of teenagers there from the local high school playing covers of this song.
you think 2050s kids will know this music?
Never gets old, classic!
I know right xoxo
I agree. This is such a fun easy going song. I am kinda glad it was never commercially successful. Kept it from being a "sellout ". Really as easy going as these guys were, one could tell they put there all into there music.
Should have been a version with Scooby and Shaggy's trademark "ZOIKS!!"
I honestly had forgotten about these dudes. Still as cool as the first time I heard them in the 90's.
Smacked on Scooby snacks as I'm listening to this
The spice or weed?
@@user-jk5yk7do8h Scooby snacks is a reference to diazepam, also known as Valium. 🤯
Are you running around though?
I've got tears and goosebumps, not heard this for years. Used to be on at the Krazyhouse in Liverpool every weekend.
That was when the team meant something . Bwahaha
Back in 2001 my mother robbed a bank all whacked off the scooby snacks. This song reminds me so much of her. I am very thankful that i have had her. R.I.P.
Are you serious
Sounds like a great lady, R.I.P.
Roh.Roh.That’s so wack. My condolences.
After growing up in 90’s, so happy that these tracks sound so fresh and cool af 😎
90s kids are very lucky. England smashed it. we led the world.
@@ziggyzagg561 💪 england the only 1 place that can compete america when it comes to music
... jamaica is definitely third
I like how you can automatically figure out what year it was filmed by the type of police cars %)
Cars are a great indicator of the era of a video.
I remember hearing this back in the day. Time has flown… 30 years!!?!
When I was 18 a friend of mine gave me a strip of ritalin. I listened to this song on repeat the entire day on a couch smoking cigarettes and it was the best thing I could wish for in the world. Amazing song 😂👌
This comment made me laugh, thanks man.
@@chaosandisorder68 me to
@@chaosandisorder68 It mostly made sense grammatically. Yet it fails in such a way that makes me question if a human even typed it.
I might have laughed, had I not just gotten done listening to Asshole from Dennis Leary. This wasn't nearly as amusing in comparison. :D
They never really took off outside of NYC in the US. They really were a great band ... Very underrated!! I know they are big in holland & Germany... I think they still do regular tours in Europe. It would be good to see them in NYC.
I saw them live in Belfast years ago, think it was around when 100% Columbian came out. Place was packed!
They were pretty big in the UK too. Huey even lives here now!
I saw them at the Wychwood Festival because the odd rock band or pop group was on the bill to entice more people into the festival even most of the music was world or folk.
@@rhiannonchaffer2588 I saw him on the Matthew Wright Show once.
@@rhiannonchaffer2588 He runs a weekly show on BBC6 every Saturday's at 10am.
Engine room beat is dirtier than a travellers sock .
That bass line should be classified as a mood altering drug
I remember back when Cartoon Network had this song as a background for Scooby Doo commercial.
A lot of people don't know this, but this song is semi-autobiographical. They used their tour to mask the travel around the country hitting up different banks. You don't hear about them anymore because they made so much money robbing banks that they didnt need music. Not a lot of people know this because I just made it up :)
I remember this song hearing it from a local rock station on the radio. I had the urge to look for it now with Scooby Doo being in my feed lately. After all these years this song is still fun. 😊
Same lol. My friend is dressing as Shaggy for Halloweeen haha.
Really? I was eating ecstasy and said "Scooby Snacks!!!" Lol jk, I was actually playing guitar and played the riff and was like.. "I know where I heard that before!!!"
thats exactly what just happened to me..i remember it coming on my fav rock radio station in the 90s and i was laughing haha...i just looked it up cuz it was in my feed
Hughie presents a programme on BBC Radio 6 on a Saturday. Plays some great music.
he was on radio 2 before they found Paddy
NOTORIOUS B.I. G. AND PUFF DID THE REVERSE THING IN THE SONG HYPNOTIZE ! ! !
Go on
Tragically underrated goofy song that hits hard.
lol
These guys are in Ireland in Dec... Im so excited to see them live 🎉💚🇮🇪
This is a classic - loved it back then and still do - the humorous vids were great
Theme accompaniment to every rehab I’ve been in..x
You really hit my funny bone with this comment. Thanks
The drummer head banging wacked off the Scooby Snacks.
oh my days blast from the past not heard this in years
good old times
we come from awsome times
I LOVE all of sound clips from different movies…Pulp Fiction, a couple from Reservoir Dogs. Ahhhh! Both Tarantino films! FLCriminals must be fans!
This could be a great soundtrack piece for a GTA, racing, or even a skateboarding video game.
Chris Poindexter Or my Viking funeral
Or a Tarantino film
D Rcl pulp fiction
@@doomgloom8414 I don't play games either but no need for that
this video IS GTA in a nutshell
The best 90s song to get high on. Fun lovin criminals and sublime. The best trip you could ever take for nostalgia.
Saw these guys last night in Warrington. Frickin awesome.
King of new york and scooby snacks 👌
...hey, that's smooth...

I used to be a Gotti fan, I'mma Bull now...

Yeaaah! Fun Lovin' Criminals baby!
love this video. a music video with a story to keep you watching, a rarity these days!
Yet a fine rarity here :-) ua-cam.com/video/JThYEo7Lt_M/v-deo.html
Remember blues traveler? Very good band from this era..
the coolest guys in music ever.
Music of the times, remember all the films of the era. It was cool to be a Robbin gangsta.
These guys were legit. Their bass player was a god tier musician.
There'll be a video somewhere online of their appearance on Jools Holland - where their bass played played organ left handed, bass pedals with his feet and a trumpet right his right hand all at the same time.
Remembering when he got rattled by Rizzle kicks on Never Mind the Buzzcocks 😂
Love this album! The dart board disc.
Running around robbing banks off the Scooby snacks!
Never heard of them until I went to prison. Celled up with a dude, thief, sick up man, second story man. My best friend! He'd sing fun lovin criminal when we hit the weights. He died a few years ago and a day doesn't pass when I don't think about my bro! Miss ya lady! Give em hell in heaven.
Such a classic…..brings me back to senior year of Highschool!
Same here. Class of '97 represent!
I need you to be cool are you cool.....I AM COOL !
YOLANDA BE COOL
Listening to this makes me wanna timetravel to 1997/1998, but be a grown up (and not 12 or 13) so I can hang out with these guys in their prime.
Dunno how this song isn't memed to death. The chorus is insanely good.
My Dad liked it and after listening to it I did to back in 90s.
Keep it on the downlow! Ain't nobody gotta know! It's a gem for the people who were there
Saw them ages ago, IN VIENNA, so much fun and really strange shoes❤
i love this groupe !!!!
Well im from Detroit and it was pretty cool song in our area as a matter of fact we had scooby snacks floating around in our area just because of this one particular song we called it scooby snacks
Always fantastic
Saw them in Dublin 24 years ago. Amazing live. Cant believe its so long ago
Been listenin' since, I Love The Fun Lovin Crimals too cool😎
Always a kick ass bass line
Worth the entrance fee alone hearing this intro live!!
Only 27.538 views (august 2017)???. There must be a "0" missing at the end. One of the coolest and smoothest tunes of the 90ies. Timeless and still catchy.
If you search for "Scooby snacks" you'll see the first video has almost 500k views (april 2018). This official one is shunned because it features censored lyrics.
This is my Jam!!!
That would be UA-cam's "O" face.
@@supertoyg still listning 2021. And running around
2022 and I'm still listening. Because the songs so dope, and yea...
*...because I am gettin old af!* 👴🏽
Classic song about the good drugs
seen these dudes live they rock
fun loving criminals Scooby snacks uses this in their intro and dope. 90's band no one heard of
Listening to it now homie! These cats are cold!
One of my favorites and my son Joe plays it for me because he knows his Mom is a little gangster lol
His interview on sky breakfast was really honest and respectful
Unfortunately there wasn’t much truth to it though.
Good times.
Cheers from Alaska EVERYONE
Laid back buds got me here
Great song
Greatest ever.
Still one of my all time favorite songs
Kind of funny banks don't have cash anymore 😂
Always liked this song.
still such a cooool tune
Such a good Song 😊😍😍😍
An ambush of pleasure.
Opera Winfrey's minge. Smooth.

Hellow mudda, hello fadda for you I have to offer consumer data.
Aaaw, Huey's first lil 'tache, bless.
They're playing in my home town this month.. quality band
I really love this song ❤❤❤
In my local skate shop they were giving out demo cassette tapes of these guys with this song on it. 2 tracks on each side. I don't even remember the other 3 off the top of my head but these guys had such a good sound to them.
The Real Italians!!!!!❤
This was a really fun era of music
No.. 70s was epic, 80s were "fun" the 90s? Was the decade of "cool" music.. Lol no offense just fact's! 50s and 60s was the inspiration for all of it! Inspired by a man in the 30s, it goes on and on! But 90s bands were too "cool" to be "fun!" Lol d=
@@savannahpaige3670 I don't know, I think lots of 90's bands have a "fun" type of vibe, just with a "cool/new" type of sound. (for the time) Actually alot of the 90's stuff sounds more unique and "new" than the actual new modern era music, and just the last 15-20 years or so.
My aunt would always say ( she’s all whacked off on Scooby snacks). I know now where she got this
they sound even better live ;)
Está canción debería de tener 1,000,000,000 de reproducciónes.
❤lovely 90ns 😅
Fascination!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Classic song
They played a gig in my old school in the west of scotland🤷♂️😊
Immer wieder gut

Tune!!
Good tune.
Absolute banger ❤❤❤
Love getting wacked out on scooby snacks 😊
I was 7 years old when this song came out I am 35 now pure nostalgia
This whole album is solid.
It really is. I recently listened to it, top to bottom, and it still sounds great.
Great song, great video! Very infectious and catchy.
This is the ultimate song to zone out to in high school.
Saw them in bmth in their pomp. They did a really great set along with a bit acting (godfather 1 if i recall). The entire place was smokin' massive spliffs inc huey and fast. Great night.
These were a cool hand 😎
I haven't heard this song and band probably since the late 90's. Forgot they even existed till I just heard this song on my local rock station.
What flash back. Nice .
Nice band out of the SF Bay Area. They never really took off outside their home area. One of the most underrated bands!! They put on a good show.
They were actually huge in the Uk, saw them many times at festivals during 90s. Huey ended up moving here and has been radio Dj for BBC 6 music since 2009! Also they’re from NYC.
