upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Shang-Chi. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to
be the 25th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Simu Liu 劉思慕 born April 19, 1989
is a Canadian actor, writer, and stuntman. He is known for his performance as Jung Kim in
the award-winning CBC Television sitcom Kim's Convenience. He received nominations at the
ACTRA Awards and Canadian Screen Awards for his work in Blood and Water. He will portray
the superhero Shang-Chi in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with the film Shang-Chi
and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021). He is set to become the first Asian actor to lead a
Marvel Studios film.

i learned that Shang chi was a teacher to spiderman to improve on his martial arts. Its bound to happen eventually.
In the comics, Shang Chi teaches Spider-man martial arts after Spider-man loses his Spider sense for a time

Love this guy!!!! Shang Chi surprised me in sooo much ways! A really plus for the whole mcu. Hope they'll let his role to be a key role in future MCU crossovers and won't make less Kung Fu Fighting scenes. This is, what let me really get from spectic to euphoric to Shang Chi. Also funny scenes were good as hell. And story and animations too. Watched this movie 2 times in cinema. And it was my first movie in cinema since corona and I am happy about that!
Call me crazy, but even with Disney+ I will buy this bluray as steelbook or anything more special to show marvel how happy we fans are with this amazing cast!!!!!!! And I love how marvel let not so well known (but amazing) actors get this big chance!

When Shang Chi was announced for the MCU, I was praying so much for not it to be another Iron Fist debacle. When the producers talked about Simu’s MA background and dedicated training for the film, my fears were assuaged and I knew the movie was gonna be awesome.

Nah nobody can get on Jackie’s level or imitate him.Jackie and his brothers came from the OLD SCHOOL Beijing opera,where you went through BRUTAL training in martial arts,acrobatics,singing,I’m talkin you had to do a billion flips everyday,hold stances for monstrous hours,and if you weren’t flexible on day one? Teach was gonna have you screaming and crying in a split he put you in then make you do it again day two.not putting down martial arts performers today….but they wouldn’t last a week in Jackie’s childhood practice

@@HansBoy tricking has no more than 100 years of existance; Capoeira originated about 500 years ago and most of the moves of tricking come from Kung Fu and Capoeira. Are you a teenager? I am a Capoeira "Graduado" under Abadá Capoeira group, the largest Capoeira group in the world; those moves I did them almost 20 years ago and just as Parkour and breakdance, tricking has a big debt to Capoeira.

@@rafaelamadormartinez410 and he's never been in capoeira, he is said practice in taekwondo and wingchun, and some other athletic stuff for filming. tricking moves is more supposed to taekwondo not capoeira, if you look all the stuff of kick and twist, even the name of the moves mostly based on taekwondo not capoeira.
It's clearly taekwondo kicks, 540 kick I believe.

This is a perfect, shining example of why traditional Chinese MA is dying year by year. This lop sop garbage is embarrassing and shameful. Is this supposed to represent Chinese Kung Fu training or is this just a modern day version of Gymkata? Only audience members with no martial arts experience whatsoever are gullible enough to confuse this empty, waste of energy, gymnastics junk with actual combat. This just continues to promote the modern Wushu performance era of paper tigers. Such a shame. This garbage has as much to do with Chinese MA as it does to American football, nothing.
