Those shots - over the clouds at the end - it took my breath away when I saw that.
As a video editor, I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I first got that footage. THAT is the exact dream so many people have... To fly over the clouds like that. It's incredible!
Love the video. It explains in full detail the exact reason so many of us fly! Christoph hit the nail on the head with many of his comments about the love of flight.
Right! This is Rob Whittaker - the guy that interviewed Christoph and edited the video... When he said "if it doesn't have anything to do with work, it's bullshit..." I was trying so hard not to laugh behind the camera. It was just so perfect and my dad was the same way.
Why is it so much fun to listen to people from other countries saying bad words lol... I have a friend from the UK and we live to hear him say slang words. Anyways, Christoph is just a brilliant human being and he is absolutely flying for the right reasons. Thanks for the comment PPGFlyr!!!!

Yes! Please research as much as possible. It's difficult because it's not like you can go "test drive one at your local dealership down the street." Listen to what customers have to say over ANYONE trying to sell you something. There are so many "used car salesmen" in this Industry unfortunately. There is a group on Facebook called the Paramotor group and it has 10,000+ members. That's a great place to start, but take what you hear as a grain of salt. As long as you are happy with what you buy and flying as much as possible, that's all that's important. Blue skies Joaquin!

nice video guys and gals. I dreamed of flying when I was 10 yrs old on a mountain while watching ravens soaring with my dad. Later on in years the spot became the famous mnt. 7 flying site in Golden B.C. and I have been flying first para the motorized for 25 years. If you don't fly you don't know what your missing. Everytime i see paramotor videos i see videos about flight views. I would personally be more interested in places i could go.
I'm a water guy, i love being in natural liquid wonders. What interests me about a paramotor is the ability to fly to secluded waterfalls, rivers or beaches. I also thankfully own land in Puerto Rico. If i lift off in Fajardo i could go island hopping in the east Caribbean. 20 minute flight from Fajardo to the beautiful Culebra island where i could land, rent a hotel and snorkel with the turtles! Every other method of arriving to some of these islands is a hassle, but i wouldn't do it without precautions...

I'd absolutely love to get into this. Too bad a decent setup for a guy my size is $10k or more! I'm 6' 1" and 290 lbs and never thought this sport would cost as much as a small car.
Thanks for the comment! I know a Paramotor is quite the investment. It took me some years to save up for my first one, but it was worth every minute and sacrifice to fly like this. It's still WAY cheaper than owning an actual airplane - that's for sure! No licenses, insurance, annual inspections, hanger fees, etc. This is the safest, cheapest way to have your very own personal aircraft. Question: What was being pulled behind one of the paramotors?
Excellent and a common question we get... Those are the "follow cameras" that give us those AMAZING shots right behind the Pilot. Our Team Pilot Christoph actually designed them himself. We used to sell them, but he doesn't want to make those all day long... He has a really good day job. There are others selling follow cams out there... You just have to poke around a bit to find them. Thanks for commenting!
