Gah so many things! Teams really have to set and maintain boundaries otherwise it's a free for all and ends in chaos. We use OneNote as our team wiki, but we access from the desktop version, dropping the tab from Teams to keep that space clean limiting it to Posts, Files and a Planner board. I use OneNote for my project notes as well, utilising Quick Notes as my capture space.
Thanks for another good video. Hopefully someone from Microsoft watches this video, especially small bit about why can’t Microsoft be more like apple and make things work together. Ugh! Also at work most of us are still on old teams and we had notes option in meeting notices which we just saw doesn’t exist in the new teams. May want to add that to your list of confusing Microsoft things 😮
Closest you can get in Microsoft is inserting shapes and lines (which reatin connections when moved) in the office apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) or using Visio. Nothing particularly like a proper mind mapping specific app though.

You forgot Microsoft Journal, which is actually super useful for people who want a light-weight OneNote experience while only using Pen :)
Thanks, John 👍
You missed out WordPad which has been around since Windows 95 although it has been removed from recent updates to Windows 11.
Was WordPad different to NotePad? Good knowledge.
@@MeeTime Yes, it could read and write Rich Text Format(RTF) and earlier versions of Word files.
@@ti99er I think I vaguely remember it, but assumed they were the same app. Been on a Mac for too long 😆

So many things to remember 😆 Thanks for the kind words, Christopher 👍
I would love the ability to have dynamic connectors between containers, i.e. free form mindmapping.

Loop needs to be the way to go
🤷
You never explained why you use Apple Notes. I was curious about that
It ran a little long, so made a separate video: ua-cam.com/video/5JfRU_LVqyM/v-deo.html
TLDR!
Thanks for taking the time to comment, Lyndon. BLUF: Use OneNote
