Inamorata means "female lover" so this song is an amazing metaphor saying misery is my lover
Also his way of expressing his divorce process. You can see Inamorata as his ex wife.
Easily the best song on the new album, it's so heavy and awesome!

Easily the best song on 72 Seasons....and that says a LOT considering how amazing the album as a whole is.
And to me, Inamorata is the spiritual successor to Bleeding Me/Outlaw Torn, and their cover of Turn the Page. And my god....that harmony towards the end....EPICNESS DEFINED!!!! I can not wait for this to go live!!!
In my opinion this is still the best album of 2023 I have to listen to at least one new Metallica song everyday or I just don't feel complete❤

Not big on the album. But the final 4 songs are solid and this is my favorite.
Was the same for me but surprisingly, it gets better to me with more listens. I now put it over Hardwired.

Hey dude I been a fan for awhile and I know how much of a fan of doom you are. I stumbled upon a fan made song called Fall of Davoth by Geoff plays guitar. I highly recommend giving it a listen.
Figure I would try and hope ya listen, sir Cristopher lee has made a few metal music albums and I wish it was more listened too than it currently is. If you have the time you should listen to it my favorite song is Massacre of the Saxons, you don't have too but I'm sure you would love it.
