Just a warning for people. The rhode lip gloss has nut and seed oils. They have them in the ingredients list but they don’t explicitly say have allergens in them.

Plus I just ordered 3 and all of them have some grit to them that cut up my lips. It was really upsetting because they smell good.

The about-face fluid fluid eye paint is so good! It blends like a dream. A friend of mine loves it and swears by a deeper brown shade that she blends out with a single brush. She showed it to me and with one swipe and the gentle buff of a brush it achieved the perfect smokey eye. I swatched it one day I was visiting her. Beautiful formula and one I’ve been meaning to pickup for myself. Thanks for remind me! Hope you love it as much as we do! 🤍

@@matildaonvideo I also love Copper Chic. My favorite! I just *barely* got a hold of two of the matte shades. I went for the shades Cool Beans (dark brown) and Out of Sight (sort of a navy blue-teal). I thought I'd go for darker shade as I assumed they'd be most prone to appearing patchy. I'm still getting to know the formula, but so far in my swatch tests and first initial use on the eyes I'm enjoying them, and didn't notice any patchiness when I used the brown to deepen the outer corner of my lids. It wore well all day, too, just like the shimmer shades.

Ooh yes, I'm excited to see Ami Colé in Sephora, Lacey! 😍 I've seen a few issues with their lip oil formula recently, quite a few people on Instagram shared that it was separating/even looking mouldy in some cases, but I'll definitely take a look at their other formulas x
Holy smokes -- this was brilliant!
THE TOP OF THE TOP favourite from my us sephora haul? bloody Tower 28 swipe concealer. UGH it is insanely skin-like smooth-yet-dewy skin in a tube and i never want my skin any other way. I use it all over in dots and blend it out with my favourite super-sheer dewy korean cushion Amuse Dew Jelly Vegan cushion. They are for real MAGIC together ✨️
I’m really looking forward to seeing your reviews of some of those new skincare lines. Skincare is what it’s all about for me. Try the retinol - it’s a game changer!

Happy holidays, M! 🤍I'm obsessed with these recs! 😍 Prequel has been good to my skin in the past, so I was excited to see them here. Can't wait for your report if you decide to let it take up precious suitcase space! I've been super impressed with ColourPop's lippies. Though the furthest thing from a blotted lip (at least until it just becomes a stain altogether), I've got to give the Fresh Kiss gloss stains a nudge in your suitcase's direction! I am never super into long-wear formulas, but these wear down into the prettiest stain. ("Tutti Fruity" is a favorite, it's a deep deep blackberry that stains a stunning shade, and "Twice Shy" is a casual pinky-chocolatey shade that I reach for more than I expected to.) I need to take a peek at their Blotted Lip for sure now. OKAY, CLOSING THE RAMBLE, I'm so excited for you that you can travel again after the panorama! ;)

I have tried the Prequel gleanser and ointment. I think you are going to like them! They meet the objective of being elevated basics that do their jobs well. The price point is excellent as well; especially the cleanser since you need the tiniest amount.

I just wanted to let you know I’ve tried a couple of the Rhode tinted peptide lip balms, I can’t remember the exact names and they are out of reach, but I got the plum and pink shades. They are very thick and sticky so last a bit longer, nice shine and the shades are subtle yet very flattering, but mine are rather grainy. Especially the pink shade. So they might be hit or miss at this stage. I’m not sure I want to purchase another round? (Sigh) Wishing you safe travels and a very enjoyable trip! 🥰xoxo 🐾
Colourpop's Blotted Lips are a MUST! They sell packages of the whole range on their site for super low and I seriously think they suit everyone!

the colourpop blotted lips are SOOOOOO good! i wear them even without makeup, one swipe makes it look like my lips are naturally rosy and not hypothermic blue lmao. i also picked up the doheny drive shade for supposedly being a black honey dupe, but bought melty at the same time and actually prefer it way more! very similar, just that melty leans more brown. hopefully you find the range in-store so you can swatch for yourself! ^-^

I love the formula of the rhode peptide lip treatment but absolutely hate the salted caramel flavor. I'd recommend trying a different flavor!

Colourpop. A single, one swipe and youre done eyeshadow. Most of the shades I’ve tried are sparkly but they have mattes too I believe. It seems right up your alley!

Your freckles might have disappeared because you're more diligent with SPF than you were as a child. ❤ Which is a good thing. The less sun damage the lesser the risk for melanoma.
Absolutely, I take sun protection so seriously having grown up in Australia! My parents were careful with sunscreen when I was little too, but other small birthmarks and freckles have just faded over time. Not risking any new ones now! 👍 x
@matildaonvideo oh, I didn't mean to imply your parents didn't take care of you properly! It's just sooo difficult to keep the little ones out of the sun and remind them to reapply sunscreen/wear longer sleeves in hot weather especially when they get increasingly independent, spending more of their time at school/with friends. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I recommend , apart from About Face being my no1 choice in Ulta, also a couple of things from Jeffrey Star such as the Eye Glosses ,for you especially the chartreuse duochrome called Voodoo Star. Skincare from the US, mmm chech independent brand spagoddess. I use their chamomile creams, herbal steams and rose crystal mists 10 years now. Awesomeness confirmed!🎉 Bon voyage Matilda❤

The Colourpop blotted lip is gorgeous but they smell AWFUL. Like the worst artificial cherry you can imagine- think cherry car freshener from the gas station. I couldn’t do it 😪

That is a FACT. I love how they look on, but that smell/taste is horrible. Like sickly sweet, fruity gasoline? I bought several shades for my pro kit, but they never made it in, because the models would revolt.
