Regardless of his experience and the content of this video , you have to questioned why would it take for him to be fifty years old as oppose to being in his mid thirties to early forties to comes out with this or maybe during the high point of football career who could not say this as oppose to now.
The thing that discourages many Black men from pursuing Black women is that when they reject a man they do it with passion, humiliation seems to be the thing to do.
I'm 42 and tried to casually talk to a dark skinned black woman 20 years ago, got rejected badly and now I haven't flirted with a BW ever since. It was too many Domincans and Ricans in Boston to be stuck dealing with that.
The vibe I get from Black Woman nowadays is, we don’t want you, but we don’t want to see you with anyone that’s not a black woman either, just go be alone.
Exactly my son was teased for being dark skin by black women so hey dates white women now and when I commented about this on another blogger video you should have heard the black women coming for him!!!!
I think when a man/woman is presented a list of bad options, dating outside their race is not a big deal. This is not just a black culture issue. No one is in a rush to date anyone that made them feel undesirable.
Yep, 100%. Easily saw this at my 20 high school reunion. So many worn out sistas that wouldn't give me the time of day when we were young suddenly see me as a prime opportunity and yet they have NOTHING to offer me that I want.
It be the timing of things that can't understand like sure I can't force u but u can expect or force me now that life forcing u to do these things no hard feelings but shoulda woulda coulda as in shoulda picked me first oh well
Tbh I smashed a few bishes from HS in college & ones from college in adult life. Never rejected but never paid much attention to me, then afterwards they say “I wuda fw u b4 but u was quiet” or sum excuse it’s weird af
I had black women treat me the worse in my community and in school. One black girl tried to get her brother to beat me up because she thought I was ugly, but me and the guy knew one another and he knew I stayed to myself so he gave me dap instead 😂 But I saw her recent and she were interested in me. I were nice to her and kept it moving. Overweight, 3 kids sad
I hate this! T. O. said he dated a white girls in college and now looks for attractive women of all colors. Why they keep saying he only is looking at white women is beyond me. He's not a regular man. He gets to date the top percentage of women based on his looks and athletic career. Why do we keep expecting these guys to live by same choices.
Everything this man said was definitely my experience. It wasn’t until the age of 37 that black woman started checking for me. 😂 From what I experienced when dealing with a black woman, a lot of their mothers wrecked them from the jump!
There are blk women from every walk of life, culture and nationality living in this country. You couldn't t find one that liked you? The problem is you not them.
The problem with dating black women is you end up getting swallowed up by their friends, families, and community. Black women who, are outsiders and aren’t immersed in all of the street b.s. I can handle.
The modern black woman has become so entitled that a white man did a clip of the women he dated in the fifty states. These women were all white. Black women had the audacity to start calling man racist because he chooses not to date outside his race. Two black men I work with only date non black women and particularly white women. They both had the same answer, I am not jumping through no more hoops to just date a black woman. One of them said if it takes all this to get a date he can't imagine being married to her. Our community makes excuses or explains away the thing not right in the community instead working for a change. This is what people are seeing with the modern black woman.
You’re right. I see it. All the time. Especially in corporate. I’m black. And when I see a black female in the office or in the lobby. They never speak. They just have nasty attitudes.. that’s all.
The only thing I'm surprised about this is that they're surprised that a white man only dated white women. Duh! These women sound entitled. He's not missing anything.
Let's be logical here. If I as a blackman pursue black women and they are rejecting me and do not want me, then why would I keep pursuing them just to be rejected everytime lol. I get it all men get rejected time to time it's normal for all men and we are use to it, but when your women reject you and don't want you, then what are we supposed to do be alone??? Like wtf nah Im going to step outside and look for something else that's just common sense. Also why should black women feel betrayed by men they didn't want in the first place it makes no sense.
Stop the lies bro. There’s so many black women who would want you. That’s wrong to say. I’m telling you men who say this CONSTANTLY OVER LOOK GOOD BROWN WOMEN IN THE BACK
TO never said he doesn't like BW nor did he say he won't date BW. He just explained why he dates WW. The Bitter Brigade twists EVERYTHING into a " y'all hate BW " victim campaign
The problem is the black women abandon the young black men that are in their mission, they get ignored made fun of and called corny and square. Then that “corny” behavior brings success now they wanna shame you for abandoning black women but they abandoned and bullied the black man first.
Unfortunately men can never be the victim we are seen as a threat or posed as one even without really being one or get called. A b**ch or told to man up even when we not whining just speaking on experiences
Went to an hbcu in Florida (you know the orange and green one) and the way the black women treat you if you’re not a thug or football player is that you’re basically non-existent. I’ve literally heard some of them on the phone complaining about messing with the same men catching std’s and claiming that these dudes took advantage of them. But on the other side of the tracks at FSU, the black women at least the ones I’ve ran into were fit feminine and friendly, they said hi to me they smiled. They weren’t ratchet, nor did they have on pounds of makeup.
Yeah and their response will be just get over it.. which is confusing giving the fact we have to listen to their stories and being understanding. My thing is do what you want. They sure as hell did
If you're successful but not in one of the areas that the Whyte Folks have allowed "Athlete, Entertainment, Criminal" then you are more than overlooked you're mocked by the black community and not taken seriously. Therefore, you have no choice but to go to places that will appreciate you. T.O., Jamie Fox, Micheal B. Jordan aren't good comparisons for most of us because they are successful in one of the "acceptable" fields of endeavor.
@@KNByam Yet, you numbskulls chase after hotties and don't give the average girl the time of day if she asked you, what in the HELL are you whining about?
This was not an issue in the black community until feminism came into the community and many black women today separate their issues from the rest of the black community. In doing so they expect unwavering support for themselves and their agendas but are not willing to show that same unwavering support for the rest of the black community
Exactly. They became a sub group trying to have a separation. They only care about what's best for themselves and it shows. If they cared what's best for the Black community they'd push for support to put Black men back in the seat of power and authority. Other races of women respect their fathers so that's where we go to sometimes. I don't exclusively date white women but I do include them amongst other races. Who is good for me is good for me.
Yeah we tend to turn this corner in high school... If you go to college or the military afterwards, a whole other world opens up for late bloomers.. I'm 49 and I've always been a late bloomer. It's always been that way.
Me too. Joined the Air Force 6 mos outta high school; spent the next 20 years there. Never looked back. Late bloomers are just getting started when other folks are at their peak; their jets burn longer too.
I tell you what, the tide is turning, I’ve had several black women recently, say hello back, in the last few months. Before that, they wouldn’t even talk. I work at one of the biggest airports in the country, so I run into women from all over the world. But, the white, Hispanic and Asian women, still have them beat. They always have a smile and and something nice to say, just passing by. Black women are still wearing bonnets and house shoes to the airport. Pretty sad. Not the older black women, but the younger ones.
@vintage1908I’m at the point where, if a BW I don’t know smiles at or is nice to me, I assume she’s about to ask me for a favor and/or money. And I’m usually right. I don’t trust them at all anymore.
I feel what he's saying. While I'm married to a black American woman, as a young adult black women had zero interest in me and only saw me as a friend. They ran after drug dealers and men with multiple kids by multiple women. Women of other races thought it was great i was in school for a cs degree, but the black women were more interested in street nonsense. As a young adult I ended up dating white and Asian women, but mentally it did bother me I couldn't get with a black woman. Even being married the past 13 years, if I were to get a divorce, I'd probably not mess with a black American woman and seek one overseas because too many of their mindsets are in the wrong place.
You’re definitely right that. I worked in corporate. There’s only a few black and Latino people working in my area. Every morning I see a couple of young black females.. walking in the hallway . They don’t speak. They don’t look at you.. and if you look at them.. they look down at the floor. It crazy.. it’s happening all over the country.
Tbh it’s probably your personality. I’m dealing with the same thing right now. Great guy great accomplishments by personality and communication skills are awful.
1 - Definitely 😂….that HBCU comment was spot on Oshay….people judging TO and not deep into sports probably don’t know that his man went to an HBCU so just imagine playing football at a high level at an HBCU and actively going to class and blk women still treating you like your dusty, shit a whole campus of blk women hurt him
Cool video. My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.
Imagine being handed a collection of trading cards. Baseball, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, whatever. You don't know much or even care much for trading cards. You give them away to someone that does. Turns out there there are some rare cards and the collection is worth tens of thousands. Imagine getting mad and wanting those cards back when you gave them away.
Here's an idea: Go to your local passport office, submit your application, buy a plane ticket, and go free yourself from this nonsense. It doesn't matter where you go. Just go. Touch grass and breathe air in a place not trapped on the hamster wheel of race, color, and victimhood. My goodness the world is far too big to keep yourself locked in this box of American identity hysteria. You don't have to stay. But just going and seeing how the rest of the world lives could be all you need to be free of this madness.
@yamamancha Better idea- Fool proof concept: Every day you go out, go up and meet 1 fine chick- EVERY DAY. If you do this 365 days a yr, you will meet 365 women. All of them won't dig you, but if 1 out of 10 DO DIG YOU that's 36-37 women in 1 yr. No passports, flights, boat rides required. Now if you jus doin some TRAVEL TRICKIN- that's different, but jus call it what it is. Traveling to knock off fine women from lower income nations.
Hey OShay, I’m a dark sister who has had some of the same issues grounding up. Some of the brothers I liked didn’t care for me because I was too dark but I never once thought about dating European guys though was approached on many occasions. Just the thought grotesque me. Unfortunately like so many of our brothers are quick to get in where they can fit in, like this guy just said and it’s always someplace else. I do believe his sharing was genuine non the less a copout. FBA, B1
At what point do you abandon the struggle and accept love where you can get it? Why spend your whole life trying to be loved by people who don't want that for you?
@@Notorious_Grey That's a fair question. For me I prefer to date outside of the US. I've been to Africa and got a lot more attention from the women there so my goal is to relocate there. All that "work on yourself" stuff is bs that keeps women moving the goal post. We ALL need to work on ourselves. If you have halfway-decent looks, income, and personality it shouldn't take much more to get interest from women. 🤷🏾♂️
most black women are only short term material. short term girls care about looks more than anything because relationships aren't a real objective for them.
As a 27 year old light skinned black man (both of my parents are black) I can honestly say I have never experienced any favoritism from blacks or whites! As a matter of fact, growing up I was constantly ridiculed and persecuted by black people for how light my skin was and whites were just bigoted and prejudiced towards me. As far as females being attracted to me, again, really no preferential treatment from any particular race because of my skin complexion. So that whole colorism argument has always been nonsense to me based upon my treatment from people of all different racial backgrounds.
BM please go with your WW preferences and leave BW alone. For men who say they're getting passports and are dating out, y'all sure do care about what BW think...
Most of us got overlooked in high school because the teenage girls wanted to be grown so they'd date older men and it gave them clout with their friends. Every pretty girl in my high school was giving the kitty up to older men between the ages of 21-30. My school was mixed so there were white, Latina, Black, and Asian chicks all dating older guys and the girls were like 16-18. Many of these girls were physically over developed too. Then in college it's the same high school mentality. Many of the college girls were dating older men who had cars and houses but they clowned the young college boys. I'm like "bih we are all in college trying to graduate." But, most of the chicks on campus weren't phucking with you unless you were balling on campus. A man had to be Mr. Popular and have a car and money. It was wild. High school and college girls have an immature yet hypergamous mindset. They expect a 16-22 year old boy/man to have it all while he's in school; especially in college. In college, if you didn't have a car and/or live off campus in your own apartment then she wouldn't give you the time of day. Growing up in Chicago was wild.
That ain’t just Chicago. Idk how old you are but I seen this back in the late 90’s early 00’s as well. If yo weren’t popular, in the streets or a some combination of a baller/thug/pretty boy, you wasn’t getting no play with the sistas. A regular do right playing the long game brotha was either invisible, an object of derision and scorn or you were seen as a sucka, an easy lick to be hit. Someone to use and discard.
As a black man who has a black mother and sisters, they told me themselves theyll be glad if I'm with a black woman, however they are more concerned that I find a woman who treats me right ie she displays loyalty, she brings me peace, and also I could survive with not take care of and that has nothing to do with race.
One day I was playing outside with friends. We were at the age when you first start saying curse words. A BW heard all of us doing it but she singled me out and told me that I wouldn’t turn out to be anything when I grew up because I was dark skinned. She went on to tell me that she knew it had to be a little dark boy out here with a dirty mouth. That was my reality growing up in the 80’s in Louisville, Ky.
It’s funny how the tone of this video and the comments are different on this story compared to the Jodi Turner Smith story. And they both have similar origins. Both Terrell Owens and Jodi Turner Smith felt rejected by their color counterparts so they turned outside. The difference is one gets castrated while the other is celebrated. We have to do better!
@@christopherm202dcfinest2I didn't leave the black Community the black community kicked me out due to internalized self-hate. You see a Brother isn't allowed to be good at math and science. A Brother isn't supposed to be intellectual and well read. It was made clear to me growing up that the only acceptable professions were Actor, Rapper, Baller, Thug, Scammer, Drug Dealer. I was mocked and shunned because I dared to show an interest in learning how things work with a large vocabulary. When I step into any scenario with black folk and they ask me what I do and I respond "Aerospace Engineering" I'm met with a look of disbelief and shock.
@@eq2092 I don’t believe you 😂 I grew up in Washington DC ( formerly chocolate city) and nothing you saying is true. Yah always got the same go to “excuse” to lol
Late bloomer is an understatement…. Hahaha I was poor from Mobile Alabama, me and my brother rode the school bus (cheese wagon) all 4 years of high school the girls was not looking for us big dogg.
Shout out to the 251 Ced. Im from that Area Mobile Born and Raised but them chicks at Vigor, Leflore, AND Blount were not checking AT ALL except for the Jail-Tavious and GLOCKTAVIOUS of the world
I attract different races but up until a few years ago I dated primarily black. What i found anecdotally although black women as a collective complained about good black men choosing not to date them I actually found that I felt more like a prize to the other races of women I dated. I felt that should never be the case in my opinion.
Colorism is and has always been an issue in the ADOS community one way or the other. People are going to roll with who likes them. From a physical standpoint, the great equalizer is having a killer body, wearing clothes that FIT, having your hygiene, grooming and fragrance game on point and liking the girls that like YOU not the girls that you like.
@@KateTsingtao I know. I was speaking from the standpoint of the States because sometimes people are demonized for being light and because Owens is ADOS.
A few of the girls i liked in High school were dealing with guys out of school or in college. I ran into a few after the military and they all had kids, but wanted to talk now..😂😂 I just kept the conversation simple and moved on! 😂
Oh yeah it happened to me. I was in college. I really like this redbone honey with green eyes.. nice body and everything… she put me in the buddy zone. So I ran into her last week. At a Starbucks. OMG. Yo .. no lie. She’s about 3 hundred pounds with 4 kids..and 2grand kids.. she’s only 37 years old. Talk about nasty looking. It was her !!!
Dennis Rodman has the exact same story as TO!,…Dennis said the minute he started to make a name for his self in high school!,…all the women that rejected him!,…started calling up his mother!,…trying to get in her good grace’s with her!,…so the could they could flip that relationship!,…into a date with Dennis!,…he said that hurt him so badly!,…that he started “Crying!”
The reason they get pregnant in college is because their pookie back home is insecure af of her finding a better dude than him. so begs and begs to come see her...to impregnate her.
1 - Late Bloomer like a mfer!!! Love it over here!! Stayed on my "square" and successfully surpassed a whole bunch of "in" niggaz back in the day. Who hurt me?? Nobody, I just pivoted 😎😎😎😎😎
I definitely was a late bloomer. It didnt get better for me until junior year of HS. when i became more physically attractive since i used to be seen as the “funny ugly” guy. When i was funny ugly, everybody else besides black women used to actually treat me nice and show me love and their reasons for not showing love was because i didnt have enough swag like other people or come off as hard and i had been seen as “too white”. Whatever that means….. And i mean they really used to humiliate me just because i was seen as the white black kid or the black kid who only dates “white girls” which is not true today. I dated all types of women but they didnt work out cause i was choosing the wrong people to invest time into. Thank god, i found a good black woman that has healed that bad history from my life. Don’t let a few people keep you away from finding a good woman who is willing to take care of you.
I think we all were late bloomers I definitely still got cheeks but isn’t I’m fairly annoying our Nubian sisters gave us shit then and give us shit now cause they chose not fuck with us now they demand we do now. It’s sad but funny cause you’re right, I’m rocking with anyone who rocks with me
its very weird. i had the same experience in college. black girls acted if i was invisible. latina, east european, anglo, and asian women interacted with me as if i were a fuqin human being.
Here's the issue that I never see a lot of people acknowledging during this discussion: even when a brother finds what is considered a decent Black woman and he marries her, Black women tend to be on this power trip where they want to continuously challenge their man and prove they can think and move independently without him. Their perception of gender roles and relationship dynamics is so skewed and they have been taught that the Black man is their enemy for so long, that while white, Latina, Asian, etc. women take pride and joy in fulfilling their duties as wives and mothers, Black women will bitterly COMPLAIN and feel like they have to let you know, "Hey, look at me!!! I have been taking care of the kids all day, been cleaning up the house, got them fed, etc."...that's your JOB as a mother and a wife!!! You want a cookie?!? What if your husband comes home every day and says, "Hmpf! I had to work all day from 9 to 5. Then I had to come home and cut the front and back yard. Had to change your flat tire, etc." With Black men, it's almost like they get mad at Black men for not being women and not having to experience life the way that they do. It's a real fked up dynamic that I don't really see other groups of women put their men through. I guess that's why Black women like to talk to Black men like they are their children and love to try to emasculate us to make themselves feel strong and empowered, even when they are in a marriage. But then the same Black women who gave a good Black man hell will go get with Brad or Julio and will fall RIGHT INTO the normal and traditional order of a male/female relationship or marriage. They will do it happily and with a smile, where as when they were with the decent Black man, they gave him HELL trying to prove how strong they were in the relationship or marriage, but they will be soft AF for men of other races without even having to be asked.
Completely agree with you. Us black men have it very hard when it comes to garnering respect from the world, including our own black women. This is because most black women are the product of mothers who chose to open their legs for a deadbeat that because her child’s father as opposed to prioritizing getting with a good black man in her younger years. And daughter will follow the same cycle. It’s a never ending pattern.
Because other races of women don't have this problem to the level that black women do. Other races aren't obsessed with dating a man with good looks, a thug, a big dick, or rich a rich man.
As a black french women, I listen to black Americans and I said listen men, comes to Europe , every men from other communities experience the same thing, not just you. I'm one of the only 3 black person in my community and I can tell you. Why you people thinks the grass is always better in other places? What a terrible mindset. Let me tell you what I saw on tv here about America . It shows that almost 95 percentages of police aren't black thus black American men fears police and are the most that gets into trouble and when they got hurtled, it's the black American women we saw asking for justice. That what we saw on the tv. So it's confusing because these are the women we saw manifesting .
not once did T.O say anything disparaging about black woman too. Plus he said he's pursuing black women he never gave up on the idea he's just willing to date the women that like him.
We date whomeverwe want 🤷🏿♂️. Truth is you don't need money to date non bw like yall claim. T.O. experience isn't rare. It exposes how colorist and opportunistic bw are
It was black girls , it was certain black girls that wouldn’t date them . They were trying to date out of their league and that turns into “ black woman” .
It’s his truth and his Story and his experience. Black women have had this same experience too! I’m glad i was not raised that way ❤ I always thought he was handsome! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder 🥰
I'm a light skinned dude. I didn't get none of this favoritism. I seen Puerto Ricans, Hispanics get this. I who was light skin African American didn't get this favoritism. My Hispanic brothers and friends got the stares of black women. In fact I was bullied a lot by them. I didn't have a antibullying campaign to help me back in the days.I was more attracted to dark skinned ,Amazonian like black women. My game was OK but not great.I do feel that dark skin black men and need to get it together. The saying was "The blacker the berrie the better the juice." Yet like the football player said ,he was teased and joked on when he had nothing, and these black women didn't show him affection, yet once successful he is expected to date black even though he is successful now. White always rode with him when he had nothing. Black women did come to the party with him, but once white girls found him attractive and wanted to dance with him ,they are like why are you leaving with white chick's. The black man must be the Dom of his movie fast and furious. If it's Ride or die , then it's ride or die. They cannot ride in his car only when he overcomes. She is in ,or out especially in tight circumstances. The lioness helps the male lion take down the hunt. A lot of this is human nature. Pro black or not you factor human nature. If you feel someone will not support when you down, but only shows up when you have. That is not a good relationship. That person will not trust them. Without trust, belief, faith in that person there is no relationship. Relationships need trust."Ridd or die" Other communities have this trust and synchronicity between there men and women. Slavery, discrimination, racism, despair has in away removed the harmony aspects between black men and black women, and left the battle zone that taking no prisoners . I don't think light skinned black men and light skinned black women have these hangups as much.which is to say are more big picture, In that black people should come together regardless of complexion, wealth status, east or west, straight hair ,nappy hair, worker or rich, male or female.I do think that the hundreds of years of false teaching and indoctrination has given us all a built inferior complex that masks itself in unqualified of seemingly superority that really can seem more of an abuse. Black men and black women need sit down and have a meeting that is serious about the future . You not truly overcome discrimination and racism without the sexes trusting one another. Pro blacks will have to go deep and deeper into psychology of past chains, to break these last chains. If black men feel this way ,that's how they feel. It must be front and center these feeling to fully resolve these issues. At the end of day men will be men. Black men are no different they will look for women who are more compatible and peaceful if they have the resources to get to them. The tree will bear its roots. You can't fix the problem of black successful men picking other races and cultures as mates. That ship has sailed. You have to go to the root of tree. The poor and working class black men and black women and creat traditions and culture of dialogue, success, trust, working together towards similar goals, follow through, see it through tough times, no shaming, inspiring ,motivating, we can add artificially as long as natural is not seen as inferior. Learn to listen and talk to one another honestly to solve issues. Most importantly do it for the strength of family. Black are not making decisions on family first now. They are women first even at expense of the children.Their needs to be a contract between black men and black women, yes this is a business deal , a commitment to secure better futures for black people.
There are two types of light skinned dudes. The "regular" ones who are black, same nose, lips, hair, just light skinned. Then there are the "other" types. The ones that can give their babies "good hair." Those light skin ones never go out of style.
Yo, oshay. I wanna say man, I think your by far! The best when it comes to showing a vid without interrupting!, you do pause and speak, but it brings more clarity to the particular vid. It doesn’t go un noticed sir! Keep pushing! 💯
I love my sistas anddd they’ve definitely done ya boy the worst outta the other folks I was with lol if you got options sometimesss you’re gonna mix it up to see the other sides😂
It's a catch 22. Men like him overlooked late blooming black women in the same way he was overlooked. We all have a right to choose. We can't get upset if we're not chosen. ✌🏾
@vintage1908 Come on!!! So now "yall " want to play intellectually oblivious??? Why do you sound so upset?? Was it something I said??Also, what is "piggybacking"??. What is obvious does not need to be explained. Hit dogs will always holla!!!
@vintage1908You never heard of the ugly duckling syndrome? It refers to mainly girls (guys can fall under this category too) who were average to ugly looking (and awkward) then the grow out of the awkward puberty phase (typically around late high school/college years) and become attractive but they retain their kindness. Hence the term late bloomer for women
@@dozosfinest2010 That's not what ugly duckling syndrome is. It's when someone was "ugly" as a kid and teenager and then becomes good-looking in their early 20's but still have anxiety and low self-esteem due to years of bullying and being outcasted...
Black women are learning: freedom is for everyone not just them in their youth. Since we're discussing T.O.: You know what it is called when a team drops the football yards away from the goal line to have the opposite team run the touchdown at the other end of the field? It's called A FUMBLE. The problem is that sisters don't understand that they not only compete for the men they desire, they compete for ALL men including the men that they may not desire until... later.
A lot Black women and black men both need to heal… the mindsets are toxic. This is depressing. Go bring up all the women in other races that have messed over black men just as bad… get healed and get a different perspective so you can attract a good woman. Oshay did a good balanced review.
Social media in general has become so exhausting. Everyone is so eager to broadcast every little woe is me moment. Everyday it’s the “who had it worse Olympics” just a lot of whining and hardly ever any solutions provided. For every overlooked black guy there is an overlooked black woman. It’s life! Love who loves you and call it a day.
@@rushedinternet1505 My comment was for black people in general not just men. I’m just annoyed with the complaining on both sides. I loved that we were starting to open the floor for men to be heard, but just like anything done too much it becomes exhausting. I want to hear what needs to be done going forward just as much as I hear the complaints. I apologize. I should have communicated my stance better while also showing you guys that you’re being heard. It’s so many of us ladies out here actually correcting our many unattractive behaviors and it seems the work is going unnoticed. Thank you for having the patience to try and correct what you saw as a flaw way of thinking. I promise I’m already doing all those things you suggested 😊
I was definitely a late bloomer but now I'm 41, single with 1 child and making $120K+ a year so now I could care less about who wants me...Give me my daughter, my money and my peace and I'm just fine
We lame black men who grew up or live in diverse cities stopped stressing BW way back in middle school. We brothers from the northeastern cities go right next door to Hispanic community and get us a Hispanic like a Rican or a Dominican.
When you approach sistas, you better be confident. However, one gains confidence from getting results. You need to either be handsome, popular, charismatic, or a bad boy. BW will play you out if you lead with money. If you don’t have 1 or more, you better go to a decent looking girl of another race. Despite my persistent efforts in the past, I have, for the last several years, decided to go into absolute monk mode until I leave this country. My desire is to be with a sister but have found greater acceptance with white women. This has been my reality for years, and I have found it more than strange. I think I may find greater acceptance from Black women overseas.
A black woman was the first one to call me a b**** because I was “too nice”, they were the first to cheat on me, they were the first to ghost me because I didn’t make enough money. White women were the first to pick me up and pay for the dates when I couldn’t, while women were the first to let me meet their family and be proud of the amazing guy she was with, but most importantly a white woman bought me my whole cologne collection, down payment on my first car and paid my whole cybersecurity program in full, now I’m making six figures ….but I’m still about to marry a black woman. I understand Terrell whole heartedly
@@jasonkoroma4323 yea if you don’t know how to pick a woman. But when you pick the right woman, it literally makes you a better man and you live longer. Don’t let that redpill shit keep you in a chokehold, a good woman will change your life the way it has for me
1 for sure! From Junior high to High school was educational in dating with sisters. Yes, even at that age girls had these superficial expectations, as if we both aren’t at the same level. In college, at the height of my drought. I’d wanted to cross the color lines to date another race, as per my own black mom and I quote “since you’re not having any luck with black girls, try Chinese.” I didn’t know how to tell her Chinese women don’t typical date outside of their race. However, that’s not what she saw in Jamaica. Jam down is made up of “many one people” before we got introduced to NYC melting pot. The lack of health, loving, functional relationships with sisters just leave one numb to the inflection of date-able black women. At the age of 44, I gave up hope of marriage! You accumulate assets and it becomes too risky to commit in a real way, because only the girls on the come up will stay in pocket. Namely, date you and divorce in five years for 50% of your life’s work. The girls that made a lot more don’t even see you. (What’s up Eboni K. WiIliams? Let a player spend some of your dough😅😅 😂) Alas , I can’t hear a word now other than lets smash and pass!✌🏾🇯🇲
Let's keep it real, most bw have a very narrow view on who they find attractive, she can be educated, nerdy and come from a two parent household but will desire the unemployed, irresponsible, d-boys pookies, good looking charismatic and ray ray type, 99% of the brothers i know that date interracial ly wanted bw first, but was considered too lame, square, had a normal job, didn't have enough swag, wasn't tall enough, etc
Why do men have a hard time getting over childhood stuff that everyone has gone through at one time or another. News flash... light skinned guys got teased for being soft and sensitive, light skinned girls got teased for being less smart, mean, conceited, and fast, dark skinned men/ women got teased, skinny ppl got teased just like fat people! Some women were late bloomers too but we got over it. No one on this planet went without being teased, rejected, or picked over! Lawd
Rather bold of You to suggest that men should get over something that occurred in the childhood or even adolescence: It’s called trauma for a reason and it can have lasting effects. You might wanna show some empathy/compassion that not EVERYONE has the means to be resilient. You comment depicts the unaccountable of women in the black community and their actions can have a lasting effect on SOME but not all black men. The fact that he does have a healthy friendships with black women says that he’s not completely jaded.
@@uncle_tones1222 Is it healthy to hold on to these traumas? Should we just continue to dwell on things from our past? What is the solution? Because blaming children for being immature children is just crazy and adds no growth to the person. I feel sad for people that can't forgive or give grace to the children they grew up with.

1. I ended up being 6 foot 5 but in high school but I was a late bloomer. I date ALL races but majority white women. I see too many fine women out here to only date one race, black or white. Especially here in Atlanta. I can relate to these brothers but I still love meeting and dating black women it's just hard to find them without kids at my age, 36, so I date younger. Work on yourself my brothers. I'm making up for lost time 😂
Okay. I hear what he's saying, but what is funny is that black women had the same issues growing up. I grew up in Los Angeles and Sacramento, CA. What I always noticed was the black boys chasing the light-skinned girls. The dark-skinned girls got made fun of and passed over for me and my lighter friends. And the darker girls hated us for it. I can't tell you how many recesses I spent in the bathroom at Kelso elementary school hiding from boys tryna kiss me and touch my booty. Then, in high school, I went to Rio Linda and saw a LOT of the brothas going for the whyte girls because they were giving it up. My sister has ALWAYS liked the dark-skinned brothas. I myself, love the nerds. I was always attracted to smart boys. And shades didn't matter. I loved ALL shades of brown and still do. But when I recall guys I had crushes on, they were always dark-skinned. So idk where some of these dudes grew up, but they were in the wrong place. I'm sorry. Maybe when yall grew up and traveled more, you should have been willing to give chances to the girls who would have liked you if they knew you in school. I hated bad kids growing up. They scared me. I was a square.
You might be a needle in a haystack and yes I do remember the lighter skinned girls being the preference but even though I did get attention in high school and college, pookie and ray ray always outdid me😂😂😂😂😂
@aarongray1981 sorry to hear that. 😞 I was a bit of a late bloomer myself. But the bad boys scared the hell out of me. I never understood the girls who like the bad boys. 👎 why would you want to be on drugs, in jail or dead?
@@missladybug73because they like the excitement until its not fun. Im a square too myself. Square women definitely turn me on and i get attracted to them.
@vintage1908right everytimethey do that exception to the rule bullsht it just validates black mens stories i hate mfs like this h0 above they wana equate the experience of being rejected the star jock or pookie on to all black men PHUCK BLACK WOMEN
Many BW of todays generation were raised to wait at the finish line so it wasn’t just T.O., many black men have had similar experiences while within other groups/ races the women were scouting for men in H.S./ College because they understood that there would be fierce competition once their men became the best versions of themselves. Unfortunately, instead of reevaluating their thought process to improve their outcomes on the dating market our women would rather double down and shame/ insult a man for simply going to where he is getting better treatment.
T Owens is saying the same thing he said decades ago. Barry Bonds, Dennis Rodman, & Taye Diggs used the same narrative! The internet just recycled this old played out topic and introduced it to a younger more influential audience.
Right. It's merely a cop out. Most athletes are encouraged to marry out to save their career. As a dark skin, blk a woman, I've experienced the same; yet, never desired white men because kids in college teased me. Lame!
I’m from the hood and only time I dealt with them folks was in high school & jr high and they were my teachers. In college, going to school in the 3rd rated sundown town in the usa guaranteed my despise of them. I don’t fool with them nor would I ever consider it.
All I have to say is when brothers talk about their life, sisters should listen because when black men stop talking and move on is when they are officially done.
What’s also scary as a black man is seeing the interest from non black woman but how much they have to hide it because of their families. You’d be surprised how many of these white, Latin even Asian girls like black guys. I’m not kidding we really are the universal guy. I’m not even sure how or why honestly. I genuinely don’t know why we get the attention we do I think it could be because of music/ entertainment stock value. But so many non black women find us attractive. They just won’t date us because they know it will make their lives hell. So it’s easier to trash black men because it makes them feel safe with their families but I’m not kidding alot of them “don’t find us ugly”.
1 and I agree 100% with the brother. I’m in Germany because my options are better here. I love black women but it’s not reciprocated so I go to where im appreciated. I do date black Germans when possible but I get more attention from other races of women.
1/2 as I'm mixed 😂 but yea I'm almost the definition of a late bloomer. I was too dark for the white kids, and too light for the black kids. Always believe in yourself to improve. Discipline=Consistency+Time.💪🏽
I honestly believe even if the majority of the black men work to be successful and did achieve a certain amount to success there wouldn’t be much of a change between black men and women.

Also, based upon what he saying and content of this video, some Black Women are saying the same thing in reverse.
The thing that discourages many Black men from pursuing Black women is that when they reject a man they do it with passion, humiliation seems to be the thing to do.

This and the fact that they think they’re better than us just irks me the wrong way.
This is the TRUTH. Any way a man is winning is the damn devil to them. They want me sit by themselves lusting after BW while holding him hostage.

Wow.. you’re definitely right about that.. I’m sorry I won’t go near any black females.. there just to TOXIC !!.
They didn't see you as a friend because you were black. My god.
Modern black women and their antics exist because modern black men and their antics exist. Black men need to start taking a bit more accountability.
You’re right. I see it. All the time. Especially in corporate. I’m black. And when I see a black female in the office or in the lobby. They never speak. They just have nasty attitudes.. that’s all.
I saw that
The only thing I'm surprised about this is that they're surprised that a white man only dated white women.
It takes a lot of nerve to be angry at a BM with a non black woman when you never even said anything to him when you saw him.
Let bw believe they're right and move on with your life
They truly in the heart of hearts believe that they OWN you, black men.

That’s right. Circumstances play a huge role. I was stationed overseas so of course I had to play the field I was given.
She went on to tell me that she knew it had to be a little dark boy out here with a dirty mouth. That was my reality growing up in the 80’s in Louisville, Ky.
Yeah colorism runs rampant in our city
It’s funny how the tone of this video and the comments are different on this story compared to the Jodi Turner Smith story. And they both have similar origins. Both Terrell Owens and Jodi Turner Smith felt rejected by their color counterparts so they turned outside. The difference is one gets castrated while the other is celebrated. We have to do better!

Colorism is common throughout various culture and country. Nothing new. The lighter the skin color, the more desirable you are to society.

its very weird. i had the same experience in college. black girls acted if i was invisible. latina, east european, anglo, and asian women interacted with me as if i were a fuqin human being.
I absolutely agree with you !! Black women are always in challenging, confrontational mode with black men.

Completely agree with you. Us black men have it very hard when it comes to garnering respect from the world, including our own black women. And daughter will follow the same cycle. It’s a never ending pattern.
You have to let a woman know you are not going to tolerate disrespect.
Why do we act like no other race has this same issue. WE are the only ones who attribute this to race. The Victim Olympics is tiring...
Oh yeah. I was just thinking about that too. It’s happening all over. Especially in Canada !!

Asian and Latina women see Black Men as a kink to satisfy their curiosity because at the end of day, they go back to dating their own men if they can.
1 and I agree 100% with the brother. I’m in Germany because my options are better here. I love black women but it’s not reciprocated so I go to where im appreciated. I do date black Germans when possible but I get more attention from other races of women.
California/ westcoast is the worst place to date as a black person honestly.
Oh yea
If Terrell Owens worked at subway no women would give a damn 😂😂😂😂
1/2 as I'm mixed 😂 but yea I'm almost the definition of a late bloomer. I was too dark for the white kids, and too light for the black kids. Always believe in yourself to improve. Discipline=Consistency+Time.💪🏽
Thanks for the great video and thank you for putting Brother Jones on.
He doesn't want to deal with the stereotype. I already kno what theyll say "Yo Mama Black!" 😂
I honestly believe even if the majority of the black men work to be successful and did achieve a certain amount to success there wouldn’t be much of a change between black men and women.
Exactly. It’s jus too much chaos and confusion. Willful ignorance is what I call it
