Dude it's absolutely awesome that you're ventures have taken you to this. Its very impressive, and I honestly say that you are one of my top 5 guitarist of our time. I appreciate the years of dedication and work you have put into the craft. Excluding the UA-cam fame I honestly believe you would have made it into the halls of top guitarist. I wanna see you get your hands on Trigger... That to me (in my opinion) is the pinnacle of guitars. Keep going man. I love your videos, and Im just a blue collar guy...However, what do i know, right? At any rate thanks for allowing a lot of us to live vicariously through your journey. Keep it up Tyler. Music is WIN!
Man... His greatest solo Is the whole Blackened Guitar base
James and kirk both underrated guitarists...Lars an underrated drummer...cliff we know was a genius.
Lars is not a great drummer, Kirk is ok, but yeah James is very underrated he’s really an all time great rhythm player for me. And yes Cliff was a genius.
Never forget Robs Bass. He's legendary.
And Lars isn't the best drummer in the world. He isn't even the best drummer from Metallica.
@@creymon6567 true that
@@samtheman123 you are so wrong...they are all musical geniuses
Huge credit to Bob Rock
Kirk was an incredible guitar player in his time.
So creative
Definitely one of my heroes
Kirk Hammett is a guitar novice, but that could sound disrespectful for all the people starting to play guitar, if you mind his full absence of playing skills. Dude can’t even hold it properly. One of the worst of famous guitar players of all time. And he was never any good. Not even mediocre. And btw maybe for that reason he didn’t write anything for Metallica at all.
For sure! Kirk Hammett inspired everything I do on guitar and he’ll always be in my top 3.
Ride the lightning solo is very overlooked of a solo imo
Thanks for giving Hero of the Day some love. One of my favs. (Even the S&M version)
Ah man, you missed the opportunity to play some great St. Anger riffs!
lol that's a whole other video
@@moogleguitar Haha yes. I'm surprised no St. Anger haters have replied XD
My personal favorite Kirk Hammit solo has to be Ride the Lightning. It’s the perfect mixture of pure shredding while being melodic at the same time. Other great ones from him include Fade to Black, Disposable Heroes, and The Unforgiven imo, plus many more.
Now use it to play Dave Mustaine's solos😀
ew
Madlad
Wait that’s illegal
Not built for Daves talent
never Dave Mustaine is way better guitarist than Kirk only that Kirk does much more noise and "solos" as people call it but he is way to far to be one of the top 10 guitarist.
by far my favorite solo from kh is from My Friend of Misery. Its criminally underrated imo
rock solid playing, you really nailed those tones
;)
If this man didn’t record the Metallica vs. Jimi Hendrix pt. 2 video while he had this guitar, I am going to be unimaginably angry.
I fucking love the Cunning Stunts live show DVD! I originally grew up with the same concert on VHS, then twenty-ish years later here I am, watch you play Kirk's rifts and solos on his iconic guitar. Fuck yeah, I'd love to play me some E1M1 in the style of Mick Gordon on that same guitar and with a set of Baritone Ernie Ball strings.
that escalated quickly
Play hard until your idols' guitars be in your hands 🤘🏼
What the? How did you get his guitar? Did you just ring him up and ask if you could borrow it? I'm blown away, excellent video brother!
Damn. Respect to getting the little details on the solos right.
"Things are lookin' up"
"Mama, they try and break me"
