What SPECIFICALLY must my car's charging system be putting into my Performance Series 96R-600 battery in order for me to NOT have to do ANY 'maintenance' or even any 'desulphating' charges at all?? IF the answer is that regardless of what my alternator/generator is putting into this battery (or IF it IS actually too low a voltage output to charge it, and KEEP it charged), how often, and for how long (given much current 'short-tripping' after any starts lately) should I be hooking it up to my Odyssey Ultimizer 25 AMP charger in order for it to last longer than the two years my last one made it to???
@qwertz33 So people doing these fuse mods to bump alternator output .5-1v are possibly over charging their batteries? Or if at an output of 13.0-13.3 the .5 bump would be correct for older vehicles which were not originally designed for AGM batteries?
At 5:40 she goes on to state how the battery is being used determines how it should be recharged. Then states it's "important" for the battery voltage from the alternator be between 14.0 - 14.7v for the battery to be charged properly.

Great video and tutorial. What is the voltage output requirement for an Alternator when using a Odyssey AGM battery, is it 14.0 - 14.7 volts?
On their website it states 14.3-14.5
So what about my alternator and charging
alternator voltage shouldnt exceed float voltage of the Battery. Float voltage ~13,5-13,8V

@@mrjodoe I read that it should be higher then that, they sell 14.8 volt voltage regulators for GM alternators for use with AGM batteries.
