It was nuts! We thought we'd be there all night. We asked the cafe for a bag to use as a coat lol. It was a nice relief from the heat though 🙂Are you enjoying Tirana so far?
@@fulltimeabroad yes! We really have enjoyed. The Blloku neighborhood is so great! City is very walkable, lots of food choices, people are quite friendly too.
Thank you for your comment and support. Yes, we were so impressed with the viewpoint and even saved 28 euros since we didn't take a cable car to get a view
Thks for this video! Is it easy to make day trips to nearby cities from Tirana ? Any interesting day trips possible by bus ? Another UA-camr mentioned that he went to Pogradec recently, but I am not sure whether it can be done on a day trip or not …..
We didn't do any day trips from Tirana, but we did rent a car when we were in Durres and went to Kruje and Vlore. There are buses that go to many different cities, but you cannot book in advance and there isn't really any schedule. You have to just show up at the station and look for buses that are going to where you want to go. We wanted to go to Berat for a day trip, but last bus from Berat back to Tirana leaves around 4 and if you miss it or its full, good luck. Maybe a guided tour is a better option, but much much more expensive.
Bad day yesterday (sorry) 😭. Keep going! +1
@@andrewrobinson2565 we will and thank you!
We nearly got caught in that rain/hail storm too! It was wild! Thanks for a few more options of things to see! Who knows we may see you out & about!
