Accepting the whole self is so important. Shadow work, accepting and understanding the darker part of the psyche, working through trauma and a willingness to love your entire self, not just the self you idealize, is so important.

Your conclusions were spot on. I’m a recovering heroin addict and I can’t honestly say I was possessed. By a demon? I don’t know. But I gave up my free will to something that took over. The drugs? Partly. But how to explain it in detail? No idea. But possession seems to be a word that fits.
Every drug has it's own demons attached to it. I've felt and seen them high and sober as a judge. I've seen them before I did drugs and after. They are as real as you and me.
I had sleep paralysis as a kid and then it kinda faded in teen yrs, but when I got strung out on H in college I had it like all the time and it was really intense. I always thought they were demons tormenting me. I've been sober now for 6yrs and haven't had it since.

The Annaliese story is one of too many modern individuals trying to resusitate old myths, to affect a cure for a sickness. Her screams and distress probably mirrored her fears and amplified them. Then the principles involved in her "exorcisim" further increased her distress with the exorcisim rituals that accompanied their machinations to drive the demons out of her. I was present at one of these deliverances when I was just 20. The ritual was gothic, laborious, not at all tied to wellness, or deliverance. The ritual scared me! I was just a bystander.

I met a demon once. He expected me to be to afraid to follow him into the kitchen when he walked by me . He thought i would be frozen with fear , but i met him with curiosity. And as i walked in the kitchen he was sitting on the counter. I looked right at him and as he disappeared i heard a snap and the lights blew out. I guess i was filled with more wonder than fear. you touched on something that i've been saying for years.. that there is an unacknowledged or unrecognized prevalence of psychopathy, or what i term as sociopathy, that is hidden by what many would subversively label as ambition or success at any cost. it's a sickness that humanity has yet to come to terms with and is the root of many of our problems, in my opinion.

Hello I am brain injured from a child I got into the use of drugs in my early 30’s I ended up smoking DMT and Ayhuasca ceremonies, I believe I have picked up a powerful dark entity as o have seen black smoke like entities, sleep paralysis and also been sexually assaulted whilst praying, my brain and eyes burn and feel solid I have no real memory or any warm feeling, I also have chronic tinnitus. Great questions! It is certainly a complex issue that I don’t pretend to understand fully, but maybe this will help. The defining traits of psychopathy are impulsivity, emotional coldness/ lack of remorse. This certainly predisposes the psychopath, more so than the average individual, to immoral behavior and what we might define as evil, but not all psychopaths act this out. So I would say rather that being a psychopath is required to be evil. However, it’s still possible for people who are not psychopathic to do things that we would call evil. A person who we would consider truly evil manifests what is known in psychology as the dark triad (psychopathy, narcissism, machiavellianism). I would go further and say that sadism is the defining trait of true evil and what sets it apart from “mere” immorality, so there should really be a dark tetrad. you touched on something that i've been saying for years.. that there is an unacknowledged or unrecognized prevalence of psychopathy, or what i term as sociopathy, that is hidden by what many would subversively label as ambition or success at any cost. it's a sickness that humanity has yet to come to terms with and is the root of many of our problems, in my opinion.
I liked this video and thought about sharing it with people I know but I could not think of one person with the attention span necessary to appreciate this video. It would definitely trigger most at one point or the other, and ignorance would be a factor. As in to ignore what is presented. Lots of valid and thought provoking information. Not gospel, but scientifically plausible.

Great questions! It is certainly a complex issue that I don’t pretend to understand fully, but maybe this will help.
The defining traits of psychopathy are impulsivity, emotional coldness/ lack of remorse. This certainly predisposes the psychopath, more so than the average individual, to immoral behavior and what we might define as evil, but not all psychopaths act this out. So I would say rather that being a psychopath is required to be evil.
However, it’s still possible for people who are not psychopathic to do things that we would call evil.
A person who we would consider truly evil manifests what is known in psychology as the dark triad (psychopathy, narcissism, machiavellianism). I would go further and say that sadism is the defining trait of true evil and what sets it apart from “mere” immorality, so there should really be a dark tetrad. I don't know about you, but it seems more than logic that Creation (or the Creator) is an infinite, and conscious entity. Since Creation cannot destroy itself because it is Creation, it had to create a “counterpart” Destruction (or better, the illusion of Destruction).
But if everybody would know that Destruction was but a mere illusion, there wouldn't be any fun. So, the Creator created amnesia. Or a puzzle, where all entities in his Kingdom (who are Him/Herself) have to search for the key that reveals the Truth behind all Being: We are Creators, full of Love and curiosity. But because of our amnesia and curiosity, and especially our Free Will and our Creativity.
So, where was all that killing, hating, robbing, etc good for ? Have mercy on these souls because they do not know who they are.
