Hello from your neighborhood Quartzsite friends.. Currently in Amish country.. All we got is a latrine. Bucket and bag works for late night or bad weather.
60 mi RT to get water and supplies in blythe. Intent of ltva is to stay for the season. Logistics is why that ltva is so empty and why most full season are at Q or down by imperial dam. That area is best for a one week visit though!
Thank you Mellissa! It’s 1st come 1st serve. You just need an LTVA permit. You can either do it online which I hear is a big pain or you can stop at any of the LTVA areas and purchase a permit. Just stop at the entrance booth or camp host and they can get you all set up! I’m going to be talking more in depth about LTVA’s in my next video.
I drove to Imperial Dam LTVA and found many small hills that only 2 or 3 campers can fit on. Is there an area that has long flat areas like the LA Posa LTVA in Quartzite?
You did not give the Imperial Dam a proper review so I stopped watching. The gravelpit only has 1 vault toilet, but just a few 100 yards away are 2 restrooms with outdoor showers that you can use, even if camped elsewhere. Also, just 1/4 mile down the road is TK Jones that also has camping, toilet and heated showers that only cost 1$. Then there is the North shore of the reservoir that has 5 vault toilets and you can camp on the lake for 2 weeks. Do your research or don't do it at all. I didn't even mention the 1000's of acres available if you are self contained. 180$ for 7 months, you can't beat that.
Plus I didn't even add that there is also fresh water, trash dumpsters, and RV dump site. The christan center is just a few miles away. It offers church of course, post office, propane, filtered water, second hand store, RV storage. There is a lot here that you can't find anywhere else.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!

Imperial Dam LTVA is my favorite spot way better then Quartzite 🤔 Wiley Wells was a great spot also 👍
Great information!

It's not going to be the best LTVA for long if you influencers keep putting it on UA-cam!!!
