  • One of Lindy's favorite all time guitars is this Korina Fying V built by master luthier Tommy Rodriguez. Lindy selected the P-92's for this guitar because he loves the clarity and the bright wound strings of a P-90, but he also needed the power of a traditional humbucker. The Fralin P-92, which offers P-90 tone in a humbucker route, is the best of both worlds.
This demo was recorded using a V.V.T. Lindy Fralin model combo amp, rated at 38w and featuring 1-15" Eminence speaker. The mic used was a Shure SM-57 and can be heard in the left channel. The lavalier mic that Lindy is wearing is picking up some of the ambient sound from the room and can be heard in the right channel. Please let us know if you have any questions!

I put a pair of these in my Collings City Limits (like a Les Paul) and they sound absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended!

Lindy, I have a Les Paul Goldtop with a bigsby installed and am curious about replacing the pickups with a Twangmaster in the neck & a P92 in the bridge. I play rockabilly to hard rock and hate the BB3 that the guitar came with. Can you recommend windings for each as well as pots & caps? I am really looking forward to having a set installed.

Hey Lindy I am saving up for a gibson LP traditional or '56 re-issue, but lately i have been considering an Epiphone classic or similar and changing out the pups..Would these P92 pups be a good way to go because i love the sound of the older lps w/ the p-90s or do you recommend a diff pair as a better way to go. what do most of your epiphone lp clients use out of your line-up of pups and have found success?

lindy could i, with a les paul wiring style guitar wire 1 volume to the bridge and the other volume to controll both pickups in middle and the neck in neck position, so i could roll down the neck+bridge and then switch to the wide open bridge humbucker? i hope this makes sense

If you buy these pickups do they come with the black plastic rings?
Which bridge HB would go well with a P92 in the neck?

Hi, I have a MIM Fender 72 Telecaster Thinline that I'm considering putting a set of your p-92s in, I'll have to buy some adapter rings so I can fit them but I don't mind that. It's made from Swamp Ash and is a semi-hollow and comes stock with 250k pots even though it also comes with WRHB's (Wide Range Humbuckers), do you think that if I put in p-92s I would need to use 500k pots? It is semi-hollow which increases bass so I thought with 250k pots it might be muddy...

Hey Lindy, I have a Fender Nashville Tele which I'm wanting to do something new with seeing as there's a swimming pool rout. Only thing is that I had a Stetsbar trem unit fitted meaning that the bridge pickup has to stay single coil sized. Would a set of these work as a middle and neck, if yes what would you recommend for the bridge single, have your Vintage Hots in one of my strats and the difference was like night and day, cliche but true
