Is the flip up jockey wheel original or an adaptation? We have a Jayco Qwest12A and that wheel is a total pain. The flip up you have would be so much easier, esp as we are 70 now.

i thought about the same thing, i never ran into any issues. these tent campers are not really air tight like hard sided campers so i figured it would be fine.
@@lawrenceconsidine9273 someone had renovated the trailer before to put storage there instead. the wires were no longer leading there and only in that spot under the seat. I have a new trailer where i have the battery in the location at the front of the trailer.
Wish I could find another one of these one wing Jamestown Coleman pop ups.
Awesome! I just bought a 1987 Coleman Columbia. We're excited to camp in it this spring.
Nice, i recently got a Columbia as well, check out my other video. making small upgrades, but like how light these trailers are.
That was helpful. Thanks!
You need to cross your safety chains on the hitch.
They should make this kind- they would sell a lot of them

@PurposefulRecreation yes. Thanks very much for the information!
Ive never seen a battery on the inside before. Is there a concern for venting issues?

The battery should be on the tray on the front of the trailer
