And to think that some people have said the Legend is a 4" max depth detector. LOL. Here we have a wonderful real-world situation using the LG24 coil and the Legend hitting targets much deeper than 4 inches. And you are not in "Beast Mode", you were in Park M1. People can say what they want to, but Rocky has the pinpoint function down perfectly on where he throws the ball in relation to your foot. Thanks for your videos and non-biased info.
Cheers for this, didn't know about it. Just upgraded from a simplex, loving the added functionality! Found a large Crotal bell today, my 3rd, amongst gold and silver with these Nokta Macro detectors.
I love when the ball rolls into frame 😂 your dog is awesome. Thanks for the beast mode demo. I’ll be heading out this weekend to hit one of my old spots. I hope to find a few more targets with the new setting.
Hey Scott, enjoy your videos! You got your SEO keyword phrases locked/ranked pretty good! More than half the channels out there don't get this unless they're already huge. ; )
Thanks yep you have to know a little bit about that stuff if you want to grow. I took some classes to learn a lot about it. Seems to be working I think. Thanks for noticing.
I agree with you on the warbled/junky tone. I noticed that when I tested my Legend. Nokta definitely needs to go back and correct this. I’m from South Texas and the soil here is really tame. No problem with iron in soil. I had to turn off the DT setting and run it on normal to get it to work, like I hadn’t updated it. Something’s not right.
Just a thought...like many new detectorist trying to find their swing by watching video after video to learn. Would a standard approach of using a larger coil not be the solution to achieve greater depth instead of battling with trying to "force" a smaller coil through manipulation of settings to achieve the desired depth. When the attempt fails and dissapointment sets in the detector gets the bad wrap or judged "unfairly" for the failure to do so, using a tweezer to do the job of wrench. I own a Legend and have learnt alot over the past few months and adjusting settings are necessary at times for sure...just see alot of videos with other detectors with similar scenarios often resulting in a frown given to the detector...if you want to shoot further get a bigger gun kind a thing. Just my assesment and thoughts from watching and swinging alot...I have come to the conclusion that only so much can be achieved with settings as far as depth is concerned.
Your last sentence hits the nail on the head. Most of these machine out today will hit the same targets depending on the condition. I used to be a "I have get the most depth" kind of guy but over the years, you learn most of the stuff we are looking is rarely over 8" or so. Its the unmasking features of a machine that many of us now look at. Back in the earlier years most people would hit a high concentration of iron and walk away. Now days, I'm looking for those areas because there may be a big potential if I can unmask some of those nails.
Run 60 tones it’s much better then any other it’s just I run all the first tone breaks at one for any thing bells 20 for now then pitch is ok recovery 7

Yes he does haha. Thanks for the comment.

You are welcome. Nice finds.

Thanks I'll pass that on to Rocky. Good luck I hope find something in Beast mode.
Rocky! Rocky! Thanks for demonstration and imformation.
You bet thank you!

Good stuff Here .. Got to love how Detectors are either capable or not on deep or one edge coins and other relics.. Thanks for sharing.. Peace
thank you for the comment.

Thanks for sharing, they will get it ironed out.
And I am still on beta one
hopefully they get this figured out, looks promising
I'm sure they will.
Good testing. DT may be the real beast mode. What does your ground read when you ground balance? Thanks for the video 👍
I don't remember now sorry.
You got to ground balance one and 2 and no higher then one are 2 on IR and beast mode will smash out items

If you sweep the coil enough you can make a piece of trash turn in to a solid tone
I discovered that the two-tone audio is not distorted even if I activate DT at 6. Try it
Thanks but many of will not like hunting in 2 tones. Hoping they clean it up a bit. Thanks for sharing.
Is two tone including iron, so one tone?? Dig or don't dig?
I may try it just to see if it works
🦮 Rocky- Curse of Spoiler Dawg.
LOL yes indeed.
What if I want to find gold down to a quarter gram and not bottle caps?
I'm not that experienced on searching for gold, sorry. But turn off the Bottle cap rejection as a start. The less filters the better.
I agree. Not so impressive over 3 in dt. Sounds that I probably wouldn’t dig. Sounds like junk. Rocky is so cool. Enjoy seeing him lol.
Thanks I appreciate the kind words for Rocky.
Your getting a repeatable signal from Rocky😂
haha so true LOL
What do you honestly think of the update?
Meh, I'll wait until the final one comes out. I think it has some promise but it still needs some work.
They have all this worked out already. It's called version. 1.10. Lol
That is a good release I tend to agree w/you until I see the final update come out.

interesting thanks.
