So a constructed trap that can bonk monsters on the head, I like it. I'd like to see the other weapons but so far looks great.

this is wild gameplay they just dropped! 3 new weapon types I'm loving. they surprised me with the staff ngl. it can go from a staff to tonfa, giant shuriken, to a massive great sword! the claw blade remind of the chain whip from toukiden 2 and the sword and hook from dynasty warriors. looks like with the claw blade you'll be able to stay in the air longer. cant wait to play this game!
Looks incredible! I hope there’s plenty of endemic life and crafting to keep me interested long term.

En tout cas les constructeurs on l'air incroyable et les montres on l'air super impressionnant, si le gameplay est vraiment bien calibré sa va être monstrueux.

You're mistaken, this game is not by EA, but by EA Originals.
Microtransactions are not done by the development staff on the official reddit.
They have also announced that all additional content will be free of charge after the game is released.

I dunno but the monsters interaction with player is like a boss in mmorpg somehow which are busy finishing their fixed big and long animations while the player spam everything and adjusting position. Hope the AI will be better in the future iterations.

i dont see it as magnamalo . but i see it like glavenus when its doing tail slash. when it do wind sucking, it looks like valstrax, when it do claw attack, it looks like tigrex+barioth

THIS GAME IS NOT BEING MADE BY EA. EA IS THE PUBLISHER NOT THE DEVELOPER!
Also this branch of EA named EA originals has published many games that people loved. Such as; unravel 1 and 2, it takes two which won game of the year 2 years ago. And A Way out.

If you hate this game simply because it's similar to MH then you aren't a fan. I hope this game does well and creates competition and with it innovation.
It's around the equivilant of $80 USD in my country, and it's gameplay looks like a free to play MMO version of monster hunter with the monster just being a punching bag and weapons having little risk/reward. Im sorry, but if you expect me to pay this much for a video game you have to be SIGNIFICANTLY better than this.
I mean I think it’s pretty fair at least from my perspective where it’s more expensive than both Monster Hunter Rise and World while gameplay also just looks flat worse to me from the combat and Monster just not really doing anything

As the development staff said in an interview, the last word "GOMEN" is meant to express awe at KEMONO!
In this game, you have to take the life of KEMONO at the end.
But there is no hatred there, but respect and appreciation for life.

This sale is not an EA, but an EA Original, and EA Originals is basically a policy of selling only by word of mouth, without advertising.
However, all of EA Originals' games are highly rated, and It Takes Two won Game of the Year.
So I don't think you should be that worried about this game either.

The camera positioning feels off to me. Combat looks meh, it looked like gunner just sat in a lawn chair and could kill the thing (hint at bad monster ai?).
Ill wait for reviews, demo/free weekend before ill buy it. Iam carefull with anything EA.

The graphics didn’t surprise me. For a PS5 game I was hoping for more detail. The tiger looks plastic. The pampers don’t look like pampers. I was hyped, not anymore

Though it's developed be koei Tecmo....EA must really want piece of that MH pie being the publisher....but I just love that little helicopter gadget...

I can't wait for this, it's like toukiden but a whole lot better. Toxic MH fans will find every opportunity to hate on this game just cause they only want MH to be the only game in it's genre to thrive.
I think I might like it but not for the same reason I love MH - since everything seem very easy going there - bosses are like MMO bosses mind their own thing in their long, big AoE attacks - look fun to play with many stuffs to try regardless

Oh yeah but it doesn't look like as prominent as other games where most action requires stamina (MH,Nioh,Elden Ring or Soul Series, Code Vein)
The stamina bar is there, and it will be prominent in this game. As in all these kinds of games. It's on the basis of the gameplay loop of these games. If you don't want stamina, you're looking for a different kind of game. It won't ever happen here, or in Monster Hunter. Also, Elden Ring has a different gameplay loop, so you can't even insert it in this discussion.

That has been announced in the media and can be confirmed by doing a search.

IF this game manages to have no microtransactions or pay for convenience then it just may be something for monster hunter fans but I wont touch it if they cross that line any more than capcom already is

And since this game is not from EA, but from EA Originals, which has won Game of the Year, you don't have to worry about microtransactions.
