Considering what the expectations were, it was a good year - it's tough being a bruins fan knowing you're gonna be in the hunt and come up short - nobody ever said winning the cup is easy; it's the hardest championship to win of all the championships that can be won

Losing major pieces and cap strapped season. Ended well above expectations. Onto the next

Overall pretty happy with the team, hoping to get some key free agents this year as were low of draft capital but still have a competitive team

What we say people has no bearing whatsoever (Media included) we all have our opinions on what should be done, but at the end of the day, there is nothing we can do but cheer on our team & hope for the best !

When you pay players 11 million a year who don't deserve that money, you can't be surprised. It takes brains

Knowing where we stand is an advantage going into next year. Work on our offense and come back to dominate!

It really gets back to the Jacobs. They have been in the concession and hockey business for a long time. What, they go back to the 60s. I hope they are watching Florida right now, 2 of Florida's top 5 points leaders, Barkov and Lundell, and Ekblad on D, were drafted by Florida. Jacobs should look at Vancover too as they have a young core of Hughes, Pettersson, Boeser and Demko all drafted and when the Avalanche won their last cup - 6 guys on the team were drafted and the rest picked up on trades. The point here is that we need to build that core. Jacobs has to give Sweeney the Cam the green light to build the stock in Providence. This means we need to trade assets to get high draft picks. That is what we should do if the Jacobs are serious about Championships.

Pretty good year but the team is soft. Physical teams push this team around

I loved Kevin Paul Dupont's semi headed exchange with Charlie Jacobs.

For me, the team overperformed following the loss of core players to retirement & free agency. Sweeney has an opportunity now to set the future of this team. I hope they can get back to having a team that's "tough to play against"

Go get a legit center. Whatever u gotta do u do it. Coyle zacha and Geekie are not top line center. Coyle on his best day is a 2C. Zacha is better at the wing.

Bruins going nowhere with bad coaching, lack of toughness, and cheap ownership. Same tired, old story...They are underwhelming when push comes to shove in the playoffs. I am done with this team until these coaches are gone.

How are they cheap? Spend to the cap and over every year lmao. Coach won jack Adams last year and did almost as good with a lot less talent this year. You don't have a grasp on reality lol.

I'll agree with you on one of your complaints...the Bruins need to get some muscle. I hope they keep Maroon, I love that guy, but he alone isn't enough. It's too bad Lucic imploded because I think he would've been a great asset against Florida, especially with the addition of Maroon.

@@Aaron-kq7rd Coach's team had a historic regular season then loses in the 1st round!!! Loses to the same team the same way the next year. Management has no clue and this coach has no clue. Time to move on from all of them.

I hate to say it but coach should b gone end of story he isn't right for this team and showed it in the playoffs bcus changed the lines every game and lost alot more than they won so y keep a coach that isn't good that's all. And he's the main reason y they aren't playing still!!!!

2 years is a ridiculously short amount of time to decide a coach is a wrong fit. At the beginning of the playoffs I had a discussion with my daughter that I didn't think Monty was a playoff coach...but he learned. He did better this year than last. I expect if we backslide next year they may think about replacing him but I don't think even 3 years is a fair length of time to see what Monty can do, especially with losing 2 key centers for this season.
