All I can say is I’m damn glad there are people in this country like you. 12-16 hours a day, 7 days a week in all kinds of weather. When we see you in the field or in the shop that is only half of your day. Good work.
Thanks Andy...I sure do appreciate the products you and your cows provide. Grew up around dairy farms, so understand the hard work it takes. Peace to you. ✌
To drive backwards in the feed alley is difficult with a big mixer wagon if i would do it, it would be dangerous for the cows heads you are the backout master chief 😂
Some good fun in the snow this morning. You put in a days work before you go into the shop to do another days work. Impressive schedule and glad you take us along for the enjoyable time.
Hi Andy ! you having so many ladies for breakfast , you are the man of the situation. i love watching feeding , it is a good moment . Thanks for your time for sharing all that good stuff . Have a good day everyone ! 🙋♂️
That was an interesting video. I enjoy watching the cows get fed. Impressed with your backing up skills. I guess you get a lot of practice! Thanks for the vid.
Sometimes people never cease to amaze me just because they were aloud to lay in the bed they all children are i was raised on a dairy farm but I was raised on a farm and work days started at 4:30am every day we had work to do before we had to go to school. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
Quite an adventure in feeding. Not warm or summer 😮 I'm confused, no horses, yet there's plenty of horsing around😅 Thank you Andy. Hope your all healthy, safe and excited for 2025. 🎉
Great video and explanation of everything going on with feeding the dairy cattle. Thanks for doing videos. Been lucky no snow here in northeast iowa yet but iam sure it's going to come sometime.
Hey Andy great explanations of the feeding process. Maybe you could elaborate on the hutches that are outside. I thought they were dog kennels the first time I saw them but it looks like you keep calf’s in them. Thanks much for the video. Enjoy them much.
Summer looks like summer here in New Zealand lol, about to start harvesting some grain while the corn is growing well. It's been a great season here, some very heavy crops around the County.
What's all that white stuff Andy? I guess the cows need to eat and you do what you got to do, right? I am looking forward to a warm summers day! All the best!
Hi Andrew I have always wounded why you have different cows in different barns ,ie milk cows and dry cows in the same barn and efforts and dry cows in the same barn and so on . I am not a dairy farmer and had any knowledge of any going ons with farming . So I am wondering if it would be easier if you put al the same cows in the same barn so it would be easier to feed all same cows in one go . If you could explain to a me why you do the way you do it . THANKS YOUS Brian over the pond.
I run "field chains" year around on my driveway maintenance tractor. And yes, they WILL beat hell out of your kidneys. I started out running them for traction in winter, ... but leave them on all the time now, in order to slow my Dad down. ( He's just not happy unless he's screaming the tractors wide open, all the time, ... and I'm the guy who has to fix whatever he busts up. )
Depends on the feeding process…. You very well might have had a lot of work in front of you…. That’s hard work that you did to, don’t discount yourself at all…
I remember having the bunk out in the yard and taking a wheelbarrow and wheel in the feed down in the bunk. I think I was about 15 years old. Do you feed one today or two times a day?
Hi Eddie, I just wanna let you know. I am not a farmer, but I just like to have ask you a question what all the room you guys have over there with all those bonds is there any reason why those baby calves are out outside Nicole or if you guys have them outside for a reason I’m I am just curious I’m sure they’re outside for some reason but I was just turkey being so cold out you know they’re just babies all right and I’m not knocking. I’m not knocking you out while the way you operate. It’s just a question, sir. Thank you and have a great day and once againI love your videos and keep them going.
Would you not be better with a bigger mixer and just run one rather than having two tractors running all the time? Perhaps wouldn't work for group size. You could keep a smaller one in the shed ready to go as a back-up. Maybe a self-propelled mixer and cut a shovel out? Just think out loud, always looking to cut COP
@@FarmingFixingFabricating I don't know what's available in the US, your shed dimensions or group size but having two mixers, their tractors and a shovel running for hours on end with one operator doesn't sound efficient to me. Perhaps worth studying what other farmers use on larger farms, depending on group size and ration, fewer larger loads with one tractor would surely save money, time and machine hours. Just a thought not trying to tell you what to do. Outside the box but you have a self-propelled sucker truck and sand dispenser, why not a mixer, do it all from one seat, (clamp height might be an issue though)
Andy, you keep saying you are TRANSITIONING OVER! Its giving me heebie geebies! I k ow, transitioning to the new parlor. All comments count for the algorithm!

I'm always fascinated by this operation. These guys have done a great job.

Enjoy your feeding videos, nice set of cows. You dairy guys can keep the 3am feeding, us cow/calf guys will wait for the sun to come up.
It's always a good day when I get a notification for a new FFF video.

Very clean and impressive operation!
Most boys off Andrew’s age would be still in bed not out helping with the chores well done team 👍
Andrew is an awesome young man. Bet his savings account is hefty with all the hours.he works.

Always liked the red and white cows
I used to feed cows at Southview Farms in Castile NY for Richard Popp. I used a SAME 4x4, but that tractor had no cab.
Another very interesting video Thank you Andy God bless you and your family 🙏 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

31:12 like a glove
The 4020 has its moments with a little 350 reel mixer. The 7720 probably has its hands full with a mixer that size.
Man, when do you sleep you’re always working
Looks like you wake the birds up at that time in the morning

Great video. Andy, puts in a days work before most.of America wakes up. :)
ever checked temp in side the bldg then out to see how much diff i would think cowa make a little diff
Girls fed barns cleaned time to get on with the day

Tractor driving contest, Andy does it in reverse, the challenger does it going forward. My bet is Andy still wins.
Great video’s. If you don’t mind me asking. How many times a day do you have to feed the cows.
Dang flying rats! Thanks for sharing
winter in upper New York state is no different then Southern Ontario in Canada
New York State back up champion!
Andy when do you sleep?
Luv that AMISH STEEL on those Skins!!! give US a reveiw of SUPREARM Mixer Wagons Oh yea you ever SLEEP???
I used to think feeding 80 of them was a lot of work, lol

@FarmingFixingFabricating
Exactly.
Shovel feeding off of a pull cart is hard work even with a tractor.
What are you using for pushing feed back up in the barns ?
We don't get snow in Wisconsin anymore
Or Minnesota
@@diersirrigation we will get snow in Wisconsin tonight into Sunday morning 2-5 inches possible
Maybe way up north but nothing near milwaukee
We don’t in Nebraska and we don’t miss it either.😂 I’ll take a nice rain in April though.
I remember having the bunk out in the yard and taking a wheelbarrow and wheel in the feed down in the bunk. I think I was about 15 years old. Do you feed one today or two times a day?
Never want hangry cows😂
Are you going to tear down the old parlor and extend that barn to where the front of the parlor was?
Andy do you have all barn overhead doors . programmed one remote👍🚜
We have some barns in the same remote…they have to be far enough away from each other
How many times do you feed the cows in a day
I believe twice a day
2x
He's mentioned before, once a day,but his brother? Goes around with a load in the afternoon and gives more where it's needed...
Slightly less warm than California.
Andy have you guys considered doing beef on dairy
Andy, are the calves in the hutches heifer calves or bull calves?
They identify as hers
Is your herd large enough to require a staff veterinarian?
Great work Andy! Do you ever take a morning off and sleep in?
Yeah
Andy, is that pto shaft bent or it that just the "guard" flexing around? Thanks for sharing Andy, cheers :)
Would you ever consider installing robots? lol can’t wait to see how well they work on drifted sidewalks like that Canadian channel does
I am the robot
@@FarmingFixingFabricating There is no way two robots could keep up to you.
Just wondering do you have a lot of Red Holstiens
No only a hand full
Mario Andretti!
With the new system are you going to upgrade to a bigger feed truck/mixer 😊
What size should we upgrade to?
@@FarmingFixingFabricating solomix 4600 or 5200 😂😊
@@350mack solomix feed micxers are terrible in general
Why would he downsize?
I know you wouldn't, has anybody ever fed the wrong batch of fee to the wrong group??
Maybe the 7720 needs new tires also.

Many cattle in the north west cold.states in the US.have no shelter at.all. .Cattle do well down to.40 below zero provided they have food.and.water.
Less disease pressure.
This sounds like an ai question.
Are you a Peta rep?????
Will your farm convert to robotic feeding at some point?
I would say that their barns are to far apart and feed storage is not set up to accommodate that.
We are the robots
👍
Lots of mouths to feed😳😳😳🍺🍺🍺

How big of a mixer would you suggest us moving into? Have you any idea what that size should be???? Please answer

As long as your feeding cows, you should be doing a commercial for TV dinners like all the big channels do
That stuff is garbage
