Hey, so I deleted all my social media but I’m trying to delete tiktok again because I ended up getting it back. 😅 It’s because someone said “You can’t be an author without social media.” And I’m an up coming author so my book is almost here. Advice?
I’m very glad to hear that some people are getting rid of that app. It’s an app that wastes so much time. I’ve been so much happier since I deleted it. Like the minute I deleted it I felt free.
People on tiktok care about little things that nobody really cares about. Every month there's a name for new insecurities.. I know that the for you page is based on what you interact with but I always put "not interested" and it still doesn't work. I like the part of getting informations easily but for the most part it does more bad than good for your mental health
For me Tiktok just caused a lot of drama and was really bad for my mental health so I made the decision to delete TikTok and now I feel more free and happy and I can just live life to the fullest
i developed addictive behaviors on tiktok throughout quarantine. I could do so much more productive stuff but i literally spend up to 5h daily. I’m thinking about deleting for a while now but i just can’t smh. This is such an inspiration 💕
You got this!!! Instead of going straight to deleting the app, you can always limit yourself using the app (like use those app timer limits) and gradually use the app less & less 🥰
@@anchannnnn ok thx. I’ve had hackers on my acct and I’m getting a weird pop up constantly. I saw a post saying if I delete the app it should get rid of it. To be such a great app the security is horrible.
I deleted TikTok today, I was on it for hours a day on most days, and it really effected my mental health. On my FYP, it’s a lot of sad stories and peoples trauma. I realized that it’s not normal to process 20 peoples trauma in under 15 minutes. Not to mention how toxic that app is.. so yeah I impulsively deleted it. Hope I get good results.
@@bellaren1145 Yeah It’s been a week now, I’m still not on it. Im not regretting my decision to delete it. I have slight cravings at times, even now, but not really. I’m not planning on going on it again anytime soon, I can say that much. I feel like i have more space in my head and I already feel a difference in my mental health.
it asks TWOtimes because the first one is "do you want to remove this app off of your homescreen or do you want to delete it" and then it actually asks if you want to delete, not three times
I just deleted the app I don't know why but I feel like I lost something I kinda feel nervous and anxious I guess I was really really really addicted but I should learn to live without it and right now I'm on my holidays so it's the best Apportonity for me to get rid of this addiction while I don't have to deal with exams and homeworks and focus on me more and my discovering myself
I deleted tiktok, too much misinformation and people faking disorders along with just toxic people. It messed my attention span up, I've gotten used to shorter videos and it took up my whole day. Now i only have youtube and spotify
@@ballsinyourface419 it’s was so hard to delete TikTok,cause I was in it for 5 hours straight a week. And it ruined my mental health. But it was the best decision for me I just deleted TikTok today.

We are so similar! Our results and how we felt throughout are almost the same. For me, on Jan. 1 i decided to delete insta and tiktok for 3 months. I didn’t stay with instagram, but tiktok was just so addicting for me. It’s been 2 months and I don’t think I’m getting tiktok back ever.
I've been using the app for roughly 2 and a half years. The first day honestly really tough considering I used it for for up 5 hours a day. I'm here to ask for advice and sorta check up on you. What did u do I the times u felt like u were missing out and did u re download?

I've officially gone a whole year without tiktok!! I don't regret it at all:))) It feels good. But now Instagram reels are kind of addicting so I've been using apps that help me limit my use of social media 😅
@@anchannnnn that us good to hear. I have alsp reduced the amount of time I spend on insta and tiktok by blocking the notifications and taking them out of the home page. It really made a difference. Now in average I use insta less than 3h a week and tiktok around 4h
I deleted it today. I was literally on that app around 4hrs a day. It's affecting my health. No more!
yessss slay!!! You made the right choice hehe:)
How is it going , is it still deleted
I never downloaded it and im glad i never did, it was automatically installed on my phone which i later deleted
