How clever of Graham to record his book for posterity giving us three whole hours of his sweet voice. He was unique, irreplaceable and we lost him far too soon.

A lovely book I have a soft back version of. Always read it with Graham's voice in my head. Nice to hear there's an audiobook too and with his voice!

On a side note, its very heartening to see Cleese still alive, seemingly healthy for his age and also happy and content and almost reinvented. If Cleese comes to my area again, I will see him.
Rest in peace. Graham. Very sorry we lost you early.

Something that really hurts me is that I'm growing up in a home where I was exposed to Python incredibly young, and Graham always knocked all the air out of my lungs with absolutely awful humor and incredibly shocking words and punchlines. I was maybe ten when Papa introduced me to Flying Circus, -- it had previously been the albums and the Holy Grail, -- and I remember watching the Undertaker Sketch and literally having an asthma attack, and after I'd taken my inhaler, I just choked out, "Golly, that's awful!" Gray is very much so the most shocking individual I've ever had the honor of idolizing, but this audiobook physically hurts me to hear. Because that's Graham speaking. But he sounds... well, not like himself. He doesn't sound as excited, as shocking, as Chapman as I know him, and it really hurts, because despite the alcohol, the drugs, the pipe, his terrible habit of not being on time, he was one of the most clever and funny men ever to grace this planet, and it seems totally unfair someone like him should be gone. And though he may be gone, he lives on in things like this. He lives on in Python fans rewatching the movies and the Circus, laughing at his audiobook, crying over his eulogy, and finding the Colonel hysterical every damn time (because it never stops being funny) and obscure references and Pythonesque jokes. I will never meet Mr. Chapman, but even without that, I can tell you very much that he's changed my life. Rest in peace, ex-Chapman, and may you be remembered as fondly by all as I remember you.

The Wilde/Whistler/Shaw-monoloque, old boy.. So beautifully articulated, and the mastery of the comical build up and immersive storytelling is just sublime. Thanks for the laughs, and thanks for the upload.

I wish I could chat with Graham, if only once. In later time, all the Pythons became more reflective and thoughtful. Able to think deeply about what they were doing, had done. But feel, Graham missed out on this. Think he would have had some terrific stories and insights.

That's what happens with time. Great things age like fine wines. Except some of the psychiatric treatments and conditions about in the '70s and earlier. No fucking excuses whatsoever. Fantastic and REAL audio book 10/10 m

Found this in my local ibrary and, yes it does exist and yes, it's very funny. I remember when he died - the first thing I thought was, Damn! The day before the Python's 20th Anniversary!
Can you imagine him growing old and getting Alzheimer's? He'd have just been the same - spouting bollocks and shouting nonsense so, not much different. Graham, you are missed - very much. And I'd like to be the first person on this thread to say "Fuck!"
To quote the great man: Squeak, squawk, squark, squerk!
