I think the best thing about making Mikey the survivor of the four is that I think as the youngest he always depended on his brothers emotionally. It’s easy too goof off when you know you’re older brothers are around to pick up your slack. Without them it causes him to do some serious growth and maturity
Tactical like Leonardo. Intelligent like Donatello. Hotheaded like Raphael. Mikey embodies all three of them now..... but we lost the fun loving, carefree Mikey in the end.

He was also the first turtle the creators had drawn, he started it all, and now he will be the one to ended it. Full circle, I am going to cry so hard.
The final chapter of the last ronin will be released soon. I'm still surprised they chose Michaelangelo to be the protagonist that took a dark turn instead of Leo or Raph.
Much as I wanted Donatello to be the last Rõnin...Mike really was the best choice. He's the most raw potential of the four but his laid back, fun-loving personality prevented him from this...but now that he's got nothing left to lose...bad guys ...watch out

Shredder's grandson is in charge of Foot Clan who now apparently run a huge corporation with deep pockets. The details aren't out about exactly how but the grandson is apparently way smarter than Shredder so the best guess right now is he lured them into some kinda trap.
They defeated them all, but there is always something last. The last enemy did them go down to the Last Ronin. And with a glimmer of hope, with a ocean of rage and revenge, he's going to end this all, by destroying the last enemy

It cought us off guard but it makes since because the day he lost his brothers was the day he lost his happiness and Ralf would just rampage and it makes even more sense that he would use that rage to sacrifice himself for his family .
Hopefully this story is more of a "what if story" story rather than a canon one. I don't think i can handle the thought of Don Leo and Raph being dead and MIckey being put in such a sad position to have to be alone without them and feel this heart wrenching pain when he was the funniest and the most positive turtle. Though i like how his character has grown and now he's more of a badass than he's ever been.
It is not the ending though. TMNT has many cartoon series and comics. You should treat each of them as different alternate universes. The Last Ronin's an alternative universe, a what-if story that explores the scenario where Mikey is the last turtle. In other series like the IDW comic, the Turtles are all alive.

They ended up dying at the hands of a vicious crime-lord who now runs New York City. That crime lord is Master Oroku Hiroto, the grandson of Shredder, the gang's longtime arch-nemesis.
Real men show emotion because the longer you hold it in the more anger builds up inside. When people cry watching movies its not because of the characters its because thats what there missing in there own lives.
Watched this one silent first just cause it was a recommendation, watched it the second time with volume up and man I think someone was cutting onions next to me. 😭😭
