Just discovered your channel last week and I’m so happy I did I love the pace and vibe of your videos I watch you ship with me videos with my morning coffee before work! Thanks for sharing your finds and solds ❤
My quickest sale was a pair of Dr. Martens heeled booties. I must have priced them too low at $100 because they sold within minutes on Poshmark. Great sales! Those Carolina Herrera pants were gorgeous! ❤
Yesssss. I feel like Docs are always such fast sellers! I wonder if you did mark them too low - i know I've seen certain models go well into the multiple hundreds... oh well, hopefully at 100 it was a great profit for you, regardless!
The best 1 day sale for me so far was Polo Ralph Lauren 2 piece sweatsuit - 2XB sold for $130 - less than a month after starting reselling! That got my reselling business jump-started! I love how you tied the robe's belt into a bow - that's something I would do!! ❤
Interesting! I feel like I pass up so much Polo at the bins, but I keep hearing of people having this similar experiences to you! A quick sale like that is definitely something that would dive you RIGHT back in!
Please do a favorite finds video! I also have favorite finds that didn’t necessarily sell for a ton or fast but I was just so happy to find an item that I saved from a landfill!
Isn't that the best feeling? I'll for SURE get a "best finds video" on the calendar! Thinking of the best way to do this to make it watchable (and makable!)
Quickest sale I've ever had was a pair of my old Sorel Caribou boots - I listed them for 80, and they sold within the hour for full price . I think I had the timing right, though - it was in December, and they were in incredibly good condition - unsurprisingly, they went to Montana.
My fastest sale was a pair of vintage Strawberry Shortcake toddler overalls I found at the Bins. Probably a dollar in, listed for $99 and sold for $90 within the hour.
OMG - I bet they were AMAZING! There's a girl on tiktok that makes amazing quilted jackets out of vintage character bedsheets (she JUST did a Strawberry Shortcake one - or I, at least, just saw the video), and I'm OBSESSED. What a find!!!
CABI is Carol Andersson by Invitation. Carol has been around a while, I find her “vintage” stuff all the time. CAbi has ambassadors, that come to your house for a “party”. But, I have to say, that its more like a full capsule wardrobe. Mix and match. Good quality and fun designs. I thought about doing it for about a second, but Im not into that style of selling! I like reselling it though! 😊
Interesting! I've NEVER heard that it was an abbreviation! I'll be going down this Google wormhole later, for sure! The stuff is definitely nicely made, for sure. Thank you so much for the info!
I sold a Johnny Was Workshop Coralie Cropped Kimono (still available online in the size I had) for full price of $68 within two hours. Had two offers within 10 minutes. I paid $3 at a local thrift store
Ohhhhhhhh.... now that would have been REAL hard to part with for me! I've found a bunch of Johnny Was, but never one of the Kimonos... Glad it sold quickly, so you didn't have too much time to fall in love with it! GREAT find!!!
I just found a pair of solid white Dickies overalls, which were perfect! I couldn’t believe something that white could come out of the bins unscathed lol😂
I sold a vintage long LL Bean wool blend jacket with an Aztec pattern for my full asking of 75 within 2 hours. Bins find! Found, listed and sold within 12 hours. Paid for the entire haul
Now that, right there, is the absolute dream! Vintage LL Bean is SO sought after. I guess people just don't part with it all that often since it's basically made to outlast your grandchildren's grandchildren. So there's not too much out there on the market - anything I've ever gotten from the 90s and earlier has sold SO quickly. Definitely an automatic buy for me!
My fastest sale to date: A random LUG brand travel wallet in an orange tropical floral pattern. Like an hour or less. During the height of the pre-vac period of the pandemic. When no one was getting on an airplane to go anywhere. Glad to help that person dream their way through the tough time, I guess.
Listen - we all had to do what we needed to do to get through that time. Even if it meant binge buying cheerful tropical luggage 🤣🤣🤣 That's super cool though! I've heard REALLY good things about LUG stuff, but have yet to stumble upon a piece. From what I understand, some of the patterns are SUPER collectible.
Just a few days ago my first same day sale. A pair of Michael Michael Kors shoes. I listed for $50 but got a $42 offer and took it. They paid for my whole mystery box from goodwill of 6 pairs of shoes. Really only 5 pairs. One is a fake. I wish Goodwill would stop selling me fake shoes and handbags.

I swear, those Caribous are literally indestructible!

I mean, for a pair of Dickies to remain white to BEGIN with, THEN to make it through the bins?! That, right there, is a White Whale!

@@JMSquaredVintage oh for sure!! Plus the pattern, fabric and length all made it such a dream and fast sale!!!

Congrats!! That's an amazing sale! Is it your local Goodwill that does mystery boxes? That's pretty cool!
