- Dad's Army sadly has to say goodbye to its secret mountain bike park.
The land is being sold and the trees felled so we decided to have one last ride on these awesome trails.
Thanks Tez for all the hard work and fun and heal up fast.

Get well soon tez 👍 great video as usual 😂
Noticed a motor cover missing ,yep I need a new one as well
It's not just riding the trails. As you can see at the end of the video.
It's being together and having a good time. Cheers Tez, hope you get well soon.
Thanks for that. I love the social aspect of mountain biking. The riding is just a small component.
Tez your a legend!hope you can find another canvas to express your MTB creativity.
I hope so too..
That’s a real shame 😕
It is a real shame. Was going to invite you but you didn't have a shirt.😂
I thought you would’ve lent me your old XL one? 😂
Very sad news when mountain bike trails get destroyed by logging. Looked like such a fun place ride and trail builders like Tez deserve more credit for sure. Healing vibes 🙏
As Tez said he enjoyed building them as much as riding them. Not sure what he will do now as he still lives there but won't have access to the land anymore.
@@bestdayevermtb2I'm sure there's a lot of trailbuilders that would love his help!
Wishing Tez a speedy recovery! Superb effort he had put into the place 👏👏
What a fabulous bike park, and a good gang of pals to share it with.
Happy memories.
Get well soon Tez
Get well soon Tez
Great effort on the tracks mate
Sad to see it go.
Sorry to see Taz injured. On the bright side he’ll be as good as new in 6 months.
Great showcase and great edit. Cheers Lance
Thanks
So sad :(
Why ?????
What a shame Lance it looks one awesome bike park. Wish the Council would open it up to the public instead of cutting all the trees down and probably turning it into Housing 😊
It is a private small block of pines. Tez doesn't own it but was allowed to build trails in there. It is not flat and quite remote so won't have houses on it.
where is teas arm
Fell off.
First
You guys are the one group that makes me want to hop a plane & come ride with you! Great fun. It’s a pity is gettin bulldozed.👎😩
As much as Tez’s (sp?) injuries look really painful and sad, it seems minor compared to the pain of seeing this park demolished. The work he has out into this park is astounding. To see it go is so sad.
Sad to see it go indeed. I think he was even sadder about not getting to ride it with us one last time. He had clearly spent a lot of time preparing the tracks for this day. He could have just let them get overgrown.
Heal fast Tez. AC joint? Knee or shoulder? I never had my ACL in my left knee at 14 years old, do to that I ruptured my patella tendon in my left knee. My arm I just ruptured my supraspinatus in my rotator cuff so I know your pain. Lance make sure he dosen't get on that bike until he's all healed up!!!
Thanks for the healing words. Must admit I am 1000 km South of Tez at the moment so no idea what he is up to.
@@bestdayevermtb2 Wow I didn't know he lived so far away. He made a nice bike park in his back yard! Sad to see it go. Better than anything I ever rode on.
How many times can you actually crash a carbon bike, before it's not safe to ride anymore?
As many as you like as long as you don't crack it. Pretty much the same with alloy. I think Carbon frames are much stronger than alloy as they have no welds. They don't do as well in hard impacts to the frame but in terms of rigidity they are superior in my opinion.
Thats a hell of a shame to lose that park. The guys put a massive effort into that place. So sad.
Amaizing to think one guy made all those features and trails.
You dropped 20 kgs and Brooke can't keep up with you something doesn't sound right
The world is a changing.😀
4:27 WHALE TAIL!! What an amazing craftsman
An amazing amount of work given how few people have ever ridden them.
Dang, I fractured my scapula back in October last year (mtb accident) so I feel his pain. Glad I didn’t do my ribs as well.
Tez was putting on a brave face, but you could see how gutted he was.
