Good on you Lance. Loved every minute of your trip. That was some very techy rock climbing. Good on you for pushing through in such a tough time losing Steve. 🫶🙌
That was beautiful Lance, your videos just keep getting better. So sorry about Steve. Please keep the videos coming I'm quite addicted to them now and can't cope without them :) I'm even starting to like the flowers!
That looks great fun. Thanks fir keeping the content going through this hard time. However, it's great that Jacqueline got to spend time with her family, that is very precious.
Sorry to hear that you are struggling with the loss of your friend, completely understandable though mate. It’s an interesting place Kirroughtree, we have visited a few times when up in Scotland as it just “different”.some tough climbing without a motor though.
Possibly your prettiest vid yet. I don’t remember Kiroughtree being quite that picturesque. Let’s call it your camerawork, especially the McMoab sequence👍 Props for the SIX attempts on the slick climb. You’ve inspired me to go back there, not been in a while. Thanks for this series, is Dyfi your last stop? Back to watching you ride the NZ summer while we plunge into winter👊
Yes, DYFI is the last video from the trip. I really liked it although conditions were less than ideal. Hopefully we get a good summer here with epic riding.
Great video brother. I rode kirroughtree in April. It was fantastic. A lil note, it's pronounced Kir-O-tree. Your pronunciation give me a laugh. Cheers.
I can definitely understand the lack of riding motivation, really sorry for your loss. Video is great as always, love the scenery, love your wisdom: “most of my solutions come down to speed rather than skill” Ha Ha! Long life to you, see you on the next one. Cheers! 🍺
Never realised Kirroughtree had an on site bike hire that's handy. Those uphill rock features are always tricky especially when you cant get grip. Skilfully ridden over McMoab rock feature, arrows come in handy. Steep rock roll always looks intimidating reminds me of Laggan Wolftrax Ayres Rock feature. Never been may check out at some point thanks for sharing! 😁🤙
I didn't bring a bike with me so could only ride places with bike hire. Not so many of them in Scotland but Kirroughtree does have a good selection of bikes.
Could not for the life of me see the blue arrows you kept mentioning....I've just been to spec savers too! Sorry to hear about your loss of your good friend, that's never easy, it cuts deep, take care.
Yes it is not too bad when dry and grippy. I think if I really lowered the tire pressure I could have made it but have had three punctures at Kirroughtree in 5 rides so was reluctant to do that.
Hi lance it's been a long while, hope your good, what mode were you in over the rocks? Just reading the comments, sorry to here about steve. If your still in blighty, you welcome at our place in the iom
Last time I rode McMoab there were no trees. That long ago. The trail is a fair old distance. I nearly broke my leg on that meandering rocky bit. There’s wild goats about there. Did you see any?
Didn't see any goats. It is a good loop out to Mc Moab. I like it because where I live we have no rocks to ride on. Pretty much dirt and tree roots only.
Does gravity work different in the Northern Hemisphere? You seem to have laid down more in the past few weeks than the past 3 years, That blue arrow section looked pretty neat. A nice finish to the video
Heart goes out to you Lance ,loss of a close friend affects everything.
So sad about Steve, thanks for getting your vids done despite your sadness, we love them, best wishes from ch ch nz
Thanks very much. Hopefully you like the last video tonight.

I love rocky climbs on the ebb. Something very hard to find at home.

Only one more in this series then back to NZ. May struggle to find fields of flowers for you but will do my best.

Thanks heaps for the support.😀
Pulln a wheele for Stevo.....great video Lance
Thanks very much.🙂
Thanks for taking us along on such an epic adventure! PS love all the flowers, and nature.
Back at Woodhill last Sunday. Made a video back with the guys but sadly no flower shots.😀
Sorry to hear that you are struggling with the loss of your friend, completely understandable though mate. It’s an interesting place Kirroughtree, we have visited a few times when up in Scotland as it just “different”.some tough climbing without a motor though.
I have actually ridden it on a normal bike 5 years ago but must admit prefer the ebb.

Don't worry I upset people in NZ with my pronunciation.

Thanks very much. Do have one more cool video from this trip on Saturday.
New follower here, really connect with your content, I only came across you due to the street pigeon collab. Sorry to hear about your friend.
Thanks very much. Upcoming content will be back in NZ, but hopefully, it is still relatable .

Must admit the blue arrows were getting very faint. They need going over I think.
I’ve also done the rock climb once when it was bone dry

Very sad Lance. I've watched all these videos and I get it, partly due to a similar recent experience. Best wishes!
Thanks.

Thanks for the offer but back in NZ now. I rode in EMTB for the whole ride I think.

@@bestdayevermtb2 I know. I stay in Auckland as well.

Certainly got to ride some cool stuff up there. Looking forward to summer in NZ though.
Have you done Heart break ridge near Ballater
No, as mentioned at the end of the video I didn't ride nearly as much as I had originally planned. Will have to come back one day.
Ride for Steve brother...
