She had just finished saying that the more you use the muscle, the longer it will take to settle. Then she said your dominant side will always settle faster because you use those muscles more…that doesn’t go together. I’ve heard that your non dominant side will always settle more quickly because you aren’t using those muscles as much.
I had my aug almost 4 weeks ago and my dominant side (right) has already started settling and my left side is lagging behind. It's finally starting to move down a little and be less tight but there's definitely a difference in the two. Now, I'm even more confused as to which one will normally drop faster 😂
Another awesome video from you two. What a great team. You just come off so knowledgeable, positive but yet realistic about the BA process. I’d definitely go to one of you if I lived in NY ❤️👌

Great info. I am 13 days post surgery and each breast look different. One is round and other squared shape and sits higher. Also is more swollen. I was terrified at first till I heard about drop and fluff process.
I've had my left side drop faster and feel more natural when following all advices after 8months post op. Not sure if that's normal since I'm right handed and my right side is still as it was few weeks post op..
It is common for each breast to heal on its own timeline and for that to be affected by your handed ness as well. Please reach out and send a photo to your surgeon to make sure this is expected.
I think she got confused. I’ve heard your non dominant side will usually settle more quickly and that’s been my experience as well. She also said the more you use your muscles, the longer it will take the implant to settle. Therefore, it makes sense that the dominant side takes longer. After 8 months though…both definitely should have finished dropping.
Thankyou so much I’m 12 days post BA surgery and I really need to hear this, reassuring and informative video. I was on my way to see the nurse for my week one post surgery stitches check when unfortunately my chest was crushed at the ticket barrier on the London Underground ( tube station). My chest felt sore, luckily there was no bruising/ additional swelling/ hardness/pain etc. The nurse reassured me my breasts looked and felt ok and to return the next day if there was any concerns. A week later all is well, but I can’t help worrying about the long term ramifications should I be worried? I go for my 6 week post surgery check with my surgeon in 4 weeks time. Worried I might have damaged my healing process or dislodged my implant on the right side where the trauma happened.
I had a mastectomy on my right side and will be getting reconstruction surgery at the end of the month. An implant in one and a breast lift on the other. How will an implant feel compared to the one with no implant? Will it be hard or feel more like a regular breast?
Can I have capsular contracture in one breast dominant side being 1 month post op? Was 32AA before and now I’m a 32B/C skin is really tight but right side is still high and under my armpit the other one is beautiful
My left side is the one that settled first bc I never use that side my right side hasn’t settled bc it’s my dominant side. Did you mean your dominant side will take longer to settle?
I only have two weeks with my implants. My right side settles down better than my left side is still high. I am using my band to help as well. Hopefully this changes soon.
It’s been just around 6 weeks since my surgery, I just wanted to ask my right implant in the cleavage has rippling when I take my surgical bra off and the brea*t is relaxed. However when I pull my shoulder back tighter it’s plump.. is this due to lack of breast tissue ? My implants are 390cc over the muscle textured teardrop high profile.. I got them due to being a DD and losing weight having loose skin.

I reccomend getting a small
implant in the other one. That’s what i did. 150 cc just so they feel the same to the touch
