The Biggest Mistake BJJ Practitioners Make with Takedowns (Even ADCC Champions do THIS!)

- Today's video is going to address the biggest mistake BJJ practitioners make when they play the takedown game.
I've seen this be true from ADCC-level competitors to White Belts.
In Wrestling there's a big focus on being multi-directional with your Takedowns. Specifically with your movement as you set up takedowns.
These directions are: Forward, left, and right.
Most BJJ athletes play in a Bi-directional way. They go forwards, and backward.
This often limits your ability to set up takedowns without trying to run through the wall that is your Jiu-Jitsu opponent (which can work sometimes, but at a cost).
Hopefully you found this video helpful.

Number 1 mistake is shoes on the mat
I think those are wrestling shoes so it’s fine
Well wrestling shoes only touch the Mats, so, yes and no. 😂
