During my first ever oil change, i dropped the sump plug into a similar container you used here, and it just so happened to be the perfect size to plug the hole. Before I knew what was going on, all the oil was overflowing and pissing down my drive and out onto the street 🤣

On the oil level sensor unit, pop that top clip/cap cover off as well and clean inside that's the main area with brake and parts cleaner thats where the gunck hides and gives of the false reading. Thanks for the videos 😊

Hello George, I believe if your sum plug/ drain plug is a m18 the torque spec will be 35 Nm while if it a m12, it will be 25 Nm.
Another great video. When you can, use the Mannol Ester additive in one of your cars. I use it along with Mannol's 5w 40 engine oil. It really improves the smoothness of the engine, especially from cold and overall the engine feels more refined. You wont compromise your engine oil as Mannol oil already has ester technology in it, so you would actually be improving an already great oil. I bought mine from Lubriage too.

Solid and correct oil in combination with good oil filters, such as Mann Hummel, Hengst, Mahle, Knecht, Purflux, could be a very good combination even maybe the best bye / invested obtained

I just got some mannol oil to try out looks good quality and is much better value.
Not a bad idea to fill the oil filter with new oil so there's no air locks until oil is sirculating.

Yes the faulty amp was causing my battery drain.. I made a video on it

Hi mate I use mannol 5w-30 fully synthetic too but I don’t understand what the numbers at the top mean like 7908 does it matter what numbers are at the top?

Great minds think a like I did my steering rack upgrade kit on my 225d yesterday then had a nightmare today servicing my Mrs alfa mito the oil filter is right against the block had to old school pierce it with a screw driver and put a long thick Allen key into move it what a pain🥵
Yeah Alfa’s and Fiat oil filters are a pain... BMWs are so much better 👌🏼

It’s fine if you live in a very cold climate but not needed in a warm climate

If it isn't that cold you use an electric heater...

Those "tiger" gloves are great, ain't they "carl" they can be reused 3-4 times before you have to throw the "towel" in, I suppose your more used to the "lace up" variety seconds out , ding ding 😂😂😂
