    My husband (he's Swedish) mentioned literally two days ago about how Swedes roll their r's in a subtle but important way and now it's the main thing that stood out to me with this video, haha!

    I'm also Swedish, and when I was a child I was really confused about the word ärr (scar) because it's pronounced the same as the letter R but the first time I saw a scar it looked nothing like the letter R and I just couldn't figure out where the R was... Fortunately, I've grown a brain since then! ;)

    It's interesting how some words are pretty similar to german. Even written the same but diffrent pronunciation and then other words are just like... What? 😂

    Those were my favorites to translate :
    Tattoo = tatuaje
    Scar = Cicatriz
    Only cash = solo efectivo
    Prejudice = prejuicio
    You just learned spanish 🙌
    Que tengan todos un lindo día!

      Tattoo {en} -tatuaje (es) -tatuaj (Ro)
      Scar(en)- cicatriz(es) - cicatrice(ro)
      Only cash(en)- solo efectivo(es) -doar cash(ro)
      Prejudice (en) - prejudicio (es)- prejudiciu (Ro)
      You've just learned some Romanian

    The swedish-speaking population here in Finland tend to pronounce some of those partially differently. I'm used to hearing some stuff pronounced differently here and it sounds a bit weird when a Swedish person says those words. Note: I'm a native Finnish speaker but I had to study Swedish for a few years in school.

    Oh my, that is awesome! Most of the words are kinda easy for me. I know English quite well and learned some German at one point and it resembles a mix of that (in pronunciation). But the * h* sound instead of *tio*. Wow, that's too much hahah 😅
    Great video though, I love the slo-mo, gives you time to hear if you're saying it right or not 😝❤

    Do you prefer English or Swedish? I grew up speaking French and learned English fairly early on and I've always preferred English phonetically despite French being my "mother tongue" or whatever.

    You guys pronounce T like.... a T, so where is that T...??? i get the -io may have a weird vowel pronounciation but... the T??? u.u
    Ps. even tho I speak several languages with weird pronounciations, the spanish in me still can't avoid getting frustrated every time I get to know a new one jajajaja

    That's wierd never thought about it, tatto artist=tattuerare. But the direct translation would be; "tattooer". But since we don't have a specific word for "tattoo *artist* I suppose it makes it correct. Never thought about it.. Hell, haha, I'm gonna leave cause I'm Swedish.. this just popped up and .... I dunno 🤷🏿‍♀️...
    Konst tattuerare 🙄 tattuerings konstnär.. oki doki

    • @Katrinberndt
      @Katrinberndt  4 роки тому +1

      Haha yeah no one would every say anything other than tatuerare and in English you rarely hear tattooer, or at least I rarely hear it. That's why I "combined" the two. 😁
