Early morning MACKEREL FISHING with BONUS SEA TROUT

Today I am fishing Atlantic mackerel from the shore early morning, as usual around Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. It has been rather slow sea fishing for me lately. I had a couple of trips for mackerel fishing, did not catch any, instead every time I got sea trout below the approved size. Those times I have been fishing during the evening, but today I give another try for early morning mackerel fishing from the shore. On top of mackerel, I caught a bonus sea trout today!
My gear:
- 10-foot rod Caperlan Ilicium-500, 20-60 g.
- Reel Daiwa 20 Laguna LT 4000-C.
- Braided main line with a diameter of 0.18 mm, fluorocarbon leader with a diameter of 0.4 mm and a length of 3 m.
Lures that gave me fish:
- Caperlan Biastos 40 G Aji
- Caperlan Biastos Fast 30 G Blue

Should work. Mackerel does not really care much about the colour. It should be something shiny. A combination of silver with blue/green/red works well! Cast your lure and reel it with some spin stops.
