As long as NCL includes the drink package in Free at Sea, NCL Platinum > Royal Diamond. If NCL drops the drink package, then the math is pretty close on those tangible benefits. Let's say you average $10/drink (I am mostly a beer person) x 4 = $40/day. 7 day cruise = $280 value. NCL two free specialty meals for 2 people is roughly $200. Plus a bottle of wine, maybe $40, so $240 value. Throw in a completely free bag of laundry on NCL (which is important for us carry on people).
The Diamond Drinks also apply for specialty coffees except at Starbucks facilities. But the coffee served at places like Park Cafe is the same stuff anyway! And for drinks that cost more than $14 you pay only the difference. As far as I can tell RCL's C&A Society benefits top any other maintstream cruise line's loyalty program.
the last cruise i was on was 2006 that was my 15th rccl cruis i took a break for all these years but im ready to go back i was diamond level now they changed it all do i keep all my points from then and how do i convert them???????
I guess you should make an update for Crown and Anchor Society, etc. Just recently, RC, Celebrity, and SS loyalty points CAN be used for any of these cruise ships! 😀
With the new rules kind of against Pinnacle, if you aren't one of the top Pinnacle people, Diamond Plus is just fine. We have no interest in pursuing Pinnacle due to the new restrictions.

Totally agreed. Free at sea is a big deal

Yep. You retain all of your points. If you were diamond then you would still be diamond. You don’t have to convert anything at all.
Sorry if it's already mentioned, however you start getting pin lapels at Platinum tier.

They added silver seas?! Nice, though they’ve got some serious growing pains in the ultra luxury market. I have no doubt they’ll get there though.
We were Gold but never received any coupons. Do you have to seek them out?
Generally the coupons are for casino only.
Do the points ever expire?
Nope. They are good forever
Hands down best cruise loyalty program..All the other one's it's like here you go here's a free bottle of water 😂
sometimes 2 bottles of water
Once you hit diamond for sure

yeah i mean it's a crazy amount of points too.
@@ByteSizeCruises If you notice - you can usually tell the RCCL Pinnacle people by either the motorized scooter, wheel chair, and/or oxygen tank😁
@@mikecruz9867I’m pinnacle and I have neither.
Quit being so judgmental.
@@urofseron I don't get it
@@urofseron Not judgemental - just a personal opinion
Working to became Diamond have 35 points go on a 7 day cruise later this year half way there😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Woohoo!
If you really want to build points, try one of the transatlantic cruises! Best price per night for sure!
