One perk that often gets overlooked is a status match with MGM Rewards. We visit Las Vegas regularly, but don't gamble enough to get status that way, but Platinum with RC gets you Pearl at MGM (if I recall correctly), which means free self-parking, and Emerald with RC gets you Gold at MGM, which means no hotel resort fees! It works the other way, too, if you do gamble/spend enough to earn MGM status you can get RC status match. Now I want to try taking my MGM gold card and seeing if other hotels/casinos will match that. We just made Diamond and are looking forward to free drinks on our next cruise!
There is one exception to the rule that you earn points only after the cruise, and that is the around the world cruise. Exclusively for the Ultimate World Cruise and the four Ultimate Cruise segments, Crown and Anchor guests will enjoy new tier status and tier benefits on the day of achievement.
This is a great video on the benefits. So much more understandable then reading what you get from the list they provide on the site. Thank you for making it. Also, I did my first Diamond Status on Wonder on the premier sailing. I loved the free drinks perk. I don't drink Alcohol, so I pretty much used it to get the fresh OJ every morning and throughout the trip. I LOVE the Fresh OJ in the mornings!
We don’t drink alcohol either but you can get “milkshakes” from the bars. We just ask for Milk, ice and syrup (normally coconut or caramel, but they do normally have hazelnut or vanilla) and have them blend it. You just have to make sure you are going to a bar that has a blender.

No offense, but what a waste. Fresh OJ is $4.00. Did you know that you can get any "drink" onboard virgin, meaning without alcohol? Virgin daiquiris, mudslides, smoothies, etc. etc.

Ahh, pre pandemic, it was unlimited drinks between something like 4:30-7p.m. They have loans to payoff now, so those days are gone forever. Once we have adjusted, no reason for them to bring it back and cut the profit margin. As a shareholder, I completely agree and understand the business decision.
@@joeo7693 yeah because being able to use them at any bar, at any time, is a real hindrance compared to dressing smartly, hiding in a cupboard (lounge) for three hours, its got nothing to do with pandemic and everything to do with guest satisfaction, improved capabilities and reducing the need for room which could be used for everyone.. And at 5/6 drinks each every single day for nothing each : seems more then fair or within a reasonable daily total (for most guests)
Terrific video summary Matt. As a solo cruiser it was frustrating to “pay for two” and get “points for two” but not in Suites….there I’ll “pay for two” but only get “points for 1 1/2”. I’m over 340 points now so it’s easier to swallow but when I was paying full fare for two on my solo cruises, it was a source of contention for me. I’ll get Pinnacle in 2023 and I hope to be one of the good Pinnacle Ambassadors and not one of the snooty ones. It’s a level anyone CAN reach (not ‘achieve’)….just takes time and money.
Alex Partridge, thanks for sharing your experience. Congratulations on reaching Diamond Plus milestones 1, 2, and 3 . . . and see you at Pinnacle this year, you said? My information is that persons staying in Suites get double points, and solo passengers in suites get TRIPLE points. Strange that you are saying that you stayed in a Suite solo and got 1.5 points....unless that related to discounted Suites? Yet, that would not make sense....since the 50% discount on Single Supplements for Diamond Plus guests (after 340 Cruise Points) is a benefit to reduce their cost, but I have never seen or read anything about not getting full points (double or more) for being a solo passenger. That definitely needs to be queried with the Concierge or Ambassador .....
@@brentshuffler1234actually a video like Matt’s helped me understand. While it seems like you get double points if solo, you really only get one extra point…semantics but important difference. So in a site I’d get 2, plus my one extra. I get it now. Just hit 702 with 46 cruises, feels good to finally get there.
So glad I just watched this. Had a Royal Up request in for a junior suite just to get the extra points. Just canceled that after what you said. Thanks for saving me money Matt!
Going Odyssey in September, will be cashing in on the Diamond member drinks… we wondered why our tab was zero at Giovanni’s on Wonder of the Sea in April…had no idea we each got 4 drinks included in our Diamond Club privileges…that is fabulous!!! After Covid messed with our minds…thanks for such great information!!
My husband and I are Diamond Plus. There are three perks that we really appreciate....the main one being the internet and the other is the free daily drinks and the free photos. We don't drink a lot, but it's nice to get a free one or two when on board.
Thanks Matt! Always helpful and informative. Finally hitting Diamond after our cruise in Oct. looking forward to the drink vouchers most of all. One additional note, when your children reach 18 they no longer receive your Crown and Anchor status. They will return to their personal point status. Found this out on our last cruise with our 19 year old in June.
Betsy Malone, that is good to know. It means that minors get their parents' status by default as they have to stay with an adult in any case in order to be allowed on any ship. However, adults have to stand in their own right. By the way, how many Cruise Points has your 19-year-old child earned . . . versus your new Diamond status?
Thanks Matt!!!! This video helped me so much. I've been on 3 RC cruises and 2 were solo and I was not given my double points so I called and they took care of me!!! I am now 3 points away from platinum and I have another cruise coming up on Anthem in march for my big 55 whooop whooop!!!! Platinum here i come.
We just achieved Diamond status after our last cruise. Without a doubt, the free drink vouchers are the best benefit. Our last cruise(s) were a back-to-back. It was nice to get a laundry discount!
Thanks for the great info. I’m going on my first cruise next month and I was actually told by RC customer service that I would get a crown and anchor number after my first sailing. I’m going to try to get a number now
I was lucky to have started cruising with Royal Caribbean when I was 8 years old, I have just turned 22 and will be entering the diamond plus status this year 🎉
I'm 7 points from Diamond! Woot! I'm looking forward to the Diamond Lounge and the 4 free drinks! Right now the discounts on balconies and any discount I can get on Internet packages is welcome.
Excellent video Matt! Thank you for breaking it down. I now see the light as to why people are loyal to Royal. I had no idea about the balcony discounts, and reaching diamond is some thing I would love to get to. I like to have a few and could never drink enough for an unlimited drinks package. So Diamond is what I strive for right now. Too bad I only have 4 points from my first cruise, ha ha! By Nov I should another 8.
We just reached the emerald status and I booked a cruise when I was still Platinum status and was able to call the number and reprice the room with the emerald status. It is fun watching the points go up when you book suite class rooms and you get double points for that. Thank you for the good video and keep up the good work!
@@encouragetravel6980 a book trips without using a travel agent. For a long time there I traveled for a living so I've got it down pat pretty good. In regards to repricing cruises simply call The Royal Caribbean number and give them your reservation number and ask to reprice. They know exactly what that you will mean when you say that.
Thanks Matt for this and all the great information. We went on our first cruise as Diamond members this past April. I thought I was supposed to receive a special gift for reaching this tier and didn’t. I will have to call the C&A number. Thanks
David Mehram, didn't you get a welcoming letter in your room, letting you know of all the benefits for your status in the Crown & Anchor Society? This is a handy reminder of everything that you are entitled to get during your cruise. They do this for guests at every level of the loyalty programme....so that people can be informed and take advantage of their benefits even if they did not know about them. Happy sailing . . . to Diamond Plus!
Best benefit is Diamond Club and or free drinks per day. You covered an amazing amount of information..thanks for refreshing my mind. Just one cruise for Diamond Plus for us..have taken some Celebrity cruises as Elite status. Too bad it is not reciprocal with Royal’s program..
To actually put a value on it: We were 8 days short of diamond. On our upcoming transpacific, the cost of the drink package is over $3200. We booked an 8 nt southern Caribbean balcony for $2800 and we will have free drinks on our transpacific!
I’m with you. When they had the double points promotion I booked a 9 day SOLO jr suite. I got 9x6 points and was already at 48 so I legit skipped emerald. The savings from being a diamond off the balcony and the drinks 4x15ish a day was worth it. I no longer get packages
@@Motochick203 Yep on our transpacific we could not keep up with the 8 drinks per day (between the two of us) and just got an extra beer or 2 at the end of the day for those days that we wanted a bit more. At the end of the cruise I had a fridge full of beer left.
Don Lekei, thanks for sharing your experiences. It shows that drinks at hotels and on many cruise-ships are very overpriced. E.g., U.S.$3,200 for drinks on one cruise that you mentioned, is enough to get you three WEEKS of cruising in an Inside Cabin! I would rather skip the added-cost drinks, enjoy all the complimentary teas and coffees, and then put that kind of money towards more cruises, earning many more Cruise Points, and reaching each higher level of the loyalty-programme twice as fast. By the way, U.S.$2,800 could have gotten you at least 14 nights in an Inside Cabin on a Caribbean cruise. Twice the points for less money! Quadruple those points if you sailed solo....
@@brentshuffler1234 Actually it was in Canadian dollars, and the extra cruise was balcony because we don't do inside (maybe with a window, but not in 2022).
Thanks to the double points and low prices, we were able to go from platinum to Diamond (for my son) and Diamond plus (for myself) We are going on a cruise in September where we will both get the drink vouchers and be able to go to the Diamond lounge. So excited!!
I fast tracked to emerald due to double points sailing during the pandemic 2 sailings. Goal end of November is diamond status - sweet spot of the C&A Society. Emerald is just limbo before diamond. Diamond plus is basically like starting over from pre-gold but with perks. Can’t see myself with pinnacle - time will tell.
MaltLiquor45, what made you think that "Diamond Plus is basically like starting over from pre-Gold"? With these loyalty programmes, there is no starting over. Your past Cruise Points, once credited to your account, never expire. They always accumulate and carry forward so that, every time that you cruise, you are closer to the next level.....That means that, even if you do not cruise often, you can certainly reach even to Diamond Plus --- and Pinnacle with free cruises! --- sooner than you think. E.g., sailing solo gets you Double Points even in normal times...not just a temporary pandemic-related offer.
Diamond Lounge, Crowne Lounge, and Suite Lounge access: free stable wifi to do any work, quiet tasteful lounge with the best views on the cruise, delicious hors d'oeuvres and fresh fruits in the afternoon and new spread around 5pm (love these more than the dining options, will sometimes skip meals from eating the tasty hors d'oeuvres all afternoon), free premium coffee made with a cafe espresso/latte machine with good quality coffee beans (equivalent to the drink vouchers perk, but for unlimited GOOD coffee). These lounges make cruises feel like a dream vacation without the crowd and loud noises/music. So worth it.
I just finished my first cruise as a Diamond Plus member. They gave me a free bag of laundry on that cruise. I also got that heavy transparent block with the ship name on it. While there are no perks I can't do without, I rather like the free drink coupons and the Diamond Club. I don't drink alcohol, but I get mocktails. The assortment of pre-dinner nibbles is nice as well. I'm looking forward to hitting that unofficial level between Diamond Plus and Pinnacle. That's a discount on my cruise fare as I travel alone (and the single supplement fee drops). Traveling alone fast-tracked my progression on both Princess (where I'm Elite) and on Royal Caribbean. Plus as my latest cruise falls under their program to encourage a return to cruising, I'll rack up 44 points for my 11 day cruise. It's a jump start on the that 350 points, though it's going to take several years for me to reach that level.
To Matt's point about the points not expiring,, I cruised solo in 1999. We got back into cruising in 2013, and without my even asking since I had basically forgotten about the 1999 cruise and was sure they had as well, it popped up on my account, and indeed, the points did also. If I remember this correctly, they didn't even have a points program in 1999, but they awarded me the equivalent points anyway.
Correct, Crown & Anchor didn't exist at that point. I had a 7-night cruise from 2008 that counts as only 1 point in my account, whereas my next cruise counted as 7 from 2014
Michael Vitale, you are very lucky! I have had the experience of cruising with Royal Caribbean in the 1990s and it did not give recognition to that old cruise. I recently saw a disclaimer on the website that states that old cruises have to be claimed within a certain number of years (7 years, I think it was)....or they will not count.
Ever since Royal started the double points deals during the pandemic, I've been "diamond chasing". We'll be diamond when we get off Harmony in 3 weeks. Woo!!! Going to be a bummer that my next cruise in 2023 is going to only be singular points .
Joanna Tassin, there are two ways that you can earn at least double points: sail solo . . . or sail in a Suite. So there are plenty of opportunities, not just temporary pandemic-related offers, to continually earn double points even if you sail solo in just an Inside Cabin....brilliant way to earn points at the lowest cost per night also....See you at the Diamond Lounge!
Thanks for this video specifically…was watching your live show last night and had the same question regarding the diamond status for Royal Caribbean. Great info!
We should be diamond after this past cruise, just waiting for the points to be awarded. The voucher drinks is amazing because we don't drink enough to get the drink package but we like to have 2-3 a day on a cruise. This will really come in handy.
We turned diamond 💎 2 Cruises 🛳 ago. Just social drink 🍸 and totally love this perk. Has saved us lots of money. Bottom line is this perk has added extra pleasure to cruising and staying Loyal to Royal.
Diamond member here. Just cruised for the first time without buying a deluxe drink package. Saved a tremendous amount of money. Plus, the 8x10 photos are a great value.
I actually got invited to my first Top Tier as a Platinum on Oasis! Then one more as an Emerald on Jewel. Looking forward to my next one as a Diamond in October on Navigator
Diamond plus here on Royal. Enjoy the 5 free drinks a day with Diamond plus even though I don't drink alcohol but the frozen virgin drinks are very good.
For my wife and I, we're going to be really excited when we reach Diamond because that means we won't have to buy the deluxe beverage package anymore. It's gonna save us a ton of money.
Are you notified that you will get on the ship early? We turned Diamond on our last cruise so our next one coming up will have the perks! So not sure how that works - early boarding- if you can enlighten me.
@@janlucas3242 -I have, since I reached Diamond level, been instructed to go to an early boarding line. I have always assumed it was because of reaching that level.
We just finished our sixth cruise with Royal Caribbean and our Platinum benefits are way less than they were on our previous cruises. This cruise we had benefits on our sea pass and some of the employees didn’t seem to know how to redeem them on our sea pass. The vouchers were better to use.
Great Info! I have learned sooo much from going through all the videos. I'm so glad I found this account to educate myself before setting sail. My family is cruising w/RC for the first time in a few weeks. Just created a C&A S account do all members of my cabin need to have their own individual number or do we all fall under the same number for earning points? (2 adults, 1 minor)
Josh Overmyer, kudos to you! How long did it take you to reach Diamond status? The good news is that, if each of these next 4 cruises will be at least 7 nights, you will then be more than half the way to Diamond Plus!
@@brentshuffler1234 oh I'll be Diamond Plus with my upcoming 9 night cruise. Sailing solo, I get double points. And then I did 1 in October, 2 in November, 1 in December, 2 in January and 2 in February to get up to 165 points. I have my first B2B in April to take advantage of my D+ status
Doing our first cruise...I signed up for C&A and linked my number to our cruise. Wondering if my husband also needs to sign up to get the onboard offers?
We're so close to platinum. I was wanting to do a 9 night cruise for our next cruise so we would actually make it there. Instead, we're only doing a 7 night and will have to do another cruise before moving up a level...
Yeah, we'll be one point short of Platinum after our next cruise, and one point short of Emerald after our next 4, so it'll be just a little frustrating to get the benefits one cruise later. We may try to squeeze another short cruise in between to get all the benefits one cruise sooner. Or maybe bump up to a Jr. Suite if the prices are good enough.
On my last cruise with NCL it was a Latitudes loyalty offer cruise and I got 21 points for a 7 day cruise! 3 of my future cruises will be 2 points per day! Gold level now, but after 3 cruises I'll be Platinum Latitudes level! Two of these cruises will be in a Studio cabin and one in an Oceanview!
Matt, can I still use the balcony discount when my TA gets me a group rate? We will be platinum on our next cruise. We’re at least a couple years out to Diamond. I most looking forward to not having to buy the drink package anymore.🎉
We are Diamond on 143 point (150 after our 7 day cruise next week). Aiming to get to Diamond Plus before our Daughter turns 18 (She is 16 in September), so nice little challenge for the next couple of years. Also D+ get 5 drink tokens, and Pinnacle get 6 drink tokens each day.
David Harris, kudos to you! How long did it take you to reach Diamond status? Have you enjoyed being generous with your complimentary drinks? I remember how thrilling it was when a couple at the second highest level of the loyalty programme gave me one of their vouchers. I thought that it was a lovely gesture . . . and maybe a way for high-tier guests to be true ambassadors of hospitality for the cruiselines that have given them that status. It also inspires others to want to reach higher status for themselves. Great marketing, in that sense....but I just wonder how many people actually gift/share some of their drink-vouchers.
I don’t know why but the idea of overflow complimentary drinks is particularly hilarious. Just imagining someone trying to redeem 25 drinks on day 7 of their cruise.
What are the additional cruise points for purchasing suite accommodations In gold status? I’m going on a 7 day cruise and staying in a grand suite, I know I’ll get 14 points. Do I get an additional points?
RCL's C&A policy regarding minor children is interesting, and can result in some sibling rivalry situations. Depending upon age differences it's quite possible for children of the same parents to achieve different C&A levels, even if the children cruise only once or twice themselves. For example, if all children of parents cruise once or twice, but the parents continue to cruise independently, when the oldest child "ages out" (reaches age 18) they become essentially locked in at the level achieved by their parents at that time, unless they later cruise on their own, whereas younger children of those same parents continue to benefit from the parents ongoing cruising until each of those younger children also reaches age 18. The result is that you can have multiple children of different ages at multiple C&A levels even though the kids have sailed only once or twice each themselves. So if you do the family cruise years later with all the "kids" some of your by then adult offspring, and possibly their spouses/partners, would be able to join you in the Diamond Club, while the older siblings would not!
Hi Matt! Do you think a new level could be created between Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club? (For example, when reaching 350 points). I appreciate your work!
Pedro, you are not the only person who wants that new level. It is hard for me to imagine what perks RC could give to that level without taking them away from Pinnacle. I feel they don't want to upset those folks (more than they are already upset).
Pedro Ledesma, there is no need for another Level. Royal Caribbean already has extra benefits for each milestone from Diamond Plus to Pinnacle: e.g., 210 cruise points, 280 cruise points, 340 cruise points; 420 cruise points, 490 cruise points, 525 cruise points; 560 cruise points; 630 cruise points; 700 cruise points [FREE CRUISE!] . . . and then every 350 points beyond the Pinnacle Club threshold of 700 cruise points. So there are many incremental benefits both on reaching a new level, and even between these higher levels.
When did you go on this particular cruise? The reason I ask is because there was a period when double points were offered to entice people to book. At that point in time, there was a drop in bookings due to Covid, hence the double points offer. I went on a 6-night cruise during this time, staying in a balcony cabin, and I received 12 points instead of the standard 6, as the time I booked &/or the time of my cruise made me eligible for double points.
@@YH-tl6iu The 6-night cruise I received double points for took place last August ... I received just single points for the two cruises I've been on this year (staying in a balcony cabin), so it's interesting you received double points for your cruise last month, unless you stayed in a suite. If you were in a category lower than a suite, you booking happened to be eligible for double points for another reason.
We are Diamond members and will be cruising with our grandson this year who is gold and 13 years old. Will he be able to go to the Diamond club with us during our cruise?
I’ll be going on a back to back cruise soon. I’ll reach 31 points at the end of the first cruise. Would I get thePlatinum designation on my sea pass card for the second cruise? I particularly would love access to the robes.
I suggest going to the C&A desk onboard the first cruise and letting them know you're back-to-back. They will give you a new seapass card with the new designation for the second cruise.
Exclusive access to call centre staff, it didn't feel like I was given priority over other tiers when I called them up as a Diamond plus member. There seems to be one fits all customer service number, everyone is the same. Well that's the impression that I get.
im going on a cruise with my brother in october. he his a Diamond member. were staying in his room. do we get his amenities while were on this cruise or any perks. this is my first cruise with royal we useally travel carnival. Thanks
So, Matt, how do you cash in on the balcony room discount? Do you have to call Crown and Anchor to book your room or will it automatically get applied when you enter your C&A number when booking online with RC?
First and foremost, don't book your cruise online. Get a good travel agent so they can handle this (and other discounts) for you. There's so many and redeeming them is something they can do for you. But essentially, it's a Crown and Anchor Discount that's associated with your account. When the system "sees" you're Platinum or above and booking a suite, it will apply it (assuming other discounts dont conflict).
Matt, I have a question regarding the mentioned discounts for balcony rooms and above when you reach higher level. We are Emerald getting ready to get to the Diamond Status. If I look to book a room without signing in vs booking a room after signing in which brings my status with it, there seems to be no difference in pricing. Can you explain ?
The discount on platinum for balcony cabin is not as good as my travel agent’s discount. It’s great to have a travel agent who gives OBC and a discount on prices.
Honestly, the benefits are not what it used to be. I am a Diamond Member and have been on about 18 RCCL cruises. Here's a tip - If you are at the status of received 4 free drinks a day, make sure they are canned beverages like white claw or beer. If you order a cocktail, they barely put any alcohol in your drink where you'll question if any alcohol is even in there. I sailed in April 2022 and the food in the main dining room was bland and on 3 night cruises, there are barely any options on the menu that are appetizing. For example, STEAK DIANE. This is a dish that was popular in the 1950's and should be left in the 19th century. I can imagine that the 7 day cruises feature more appetizing dishes but it's been awhile since I've been on a 7 day cruise. I remember the days of "lobster night" where lobster tails were free, as many as you wanted. I remember when gazpacho and an array of soups were offered in the main dining room. I remember chocolates put on our pillow every night. These days are long gone.
I am an emerald member and on our cruise a month ago, I never was offered any of those discounts that you mentioned (for just a gold member) !!! We should be sent a list of all of the perks before we cruise. I even looked online under the emerald membership and it didn’t list any of those! Very frustrating.
Betsy D, didn't you get the usual welcoming letter in your room, stating all the discounts and benefits to which you are entitled according to your status in the Crown & Anchor Society? I have witnessed that a letter is delivered to every guest's room even for Gold members.
Hey last year I went on a cruise In November as a individual sailor. I only received 4 points on a 4 night cruise. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but not only I should've got a extra point per day for being a individual sail but since cruise was restarting I should've gotten double points for that cruise as well. Making my 4 points to 16 point. Right?
Is there a list for what virtual vouchers you get per level ?

Any Pinnacle members want to get married? 😁
I’m available when and where
Lol 😂 nahh we good
Nice, funny, smart but pregold here. 😂
Call me back in 2076 😂
No Pinnacle Club takers yet after over a year??
I'm Diamond Plus...
take it or leave it.
Glad it helped!
I’m going to try to get a number now
I signed up for a royal Caribbean account in 2019 after listening to this, I might have to plan my cruise for next year thanks, Matt
I was lucky to have started cruising with Royal Caribbean when I was 8 years old, I have just turned 22 and will be entering the diamond plus status this year 🎉
Good for you my kids are 10,8 & 6 they are D+
Fantastic and informative video Matt. I just hit 702 points in 46 cruises…a benefit of going solo a lot.
Going on our first cruise as Diamond next month. Blessed to have booked a Junior Suite during the double points promo last year.
We did the same!
We are so close to Diamond! One more cruise!
@@abrown4green US TOO! Looking to book soon!
Glad it was helpful!
We just reached the emerald status and I booked a cruise when I was still Platinum status and was able to call the number and reprice the room with the emerald status. It is fun watching the points go up when you book suite class rooms and you get double points for that. Thank you for the good video and keep up the good work!
So you booked a cruise with a TA and then called RCCL and got the price further reduced due to Platinum status
I’m just super excited to go on my first cruise
I was just questioning this 2 days ago, and you read my mind, thank you so much for the info!
As a Diamond member the free drinks and laundry service are my favorites along with the discount on cruises
Laundry service is also available? Could you tell me more?
@@janlucas3242 you are given a bag the size is about a standard pillow case for your clothes which is washed and folded for you by your cabin steward
You must be Diamond +, if you are getting a free bag of laundry.
That is awesome!
Great video explaining the program. Ty!
HOORAY ...255 points to Pinnacle!

Woah! Just booked a 9nt today for the Western Caribbean next April so will move to Platinum. Good to know what comes with it! Thanks Matt! 🙂
Look for deals on Jr. Suites. 😎
Great info!
Glad it was helpful!
The drink vouchers. 🙂
Hi Matt, Thanks for the great video. Right now 8/23 on the Mariner watching your blog at the solarium! So far great cruise,!
Enjoy the cruise!
The drink voucher benefit is amazing. No other line has that.
@@RoyalCaribbeanBlog so they know, each bar knows that you get this and their are no hiccups? They get this info from your seapass card?

Thanks for breaking it down and reminders.
For my wife and I, we're going to be really excited when we reach Diamond because that means we won't have to buy the deluxe beverage package anymore. It's gonna save us a ton of money.
I couldn’t find the link about the full list of benefits for each tier. Has it been posted yet? ☺️
Are you able to do the perks and benefits from the Casino?
I like getting on the ship early. We reached Diamond Plus on our last cruise.
Celebrity and Royal Caribbean used to share rewards. Wish they would bring that back.
Everyone has their own number!
Just hit Diamond status on my last cruise. Looking forward to taking advantage of those benefits on my 4 upcoming cruises this fall!
@@rgruenhaus what are the perks offered by NCL I have only one sailing with this line
Matt, can I still use the balcony discount when my TA gets me a group rate? We will be platinum on our next cruise. We’re at least a couple years out to Diamond. I most looking forward to not having to buy the drink package anymore.🎉
Thanks for explaining the Crown & Anchor Society benefits. I didn’t know I am at the Gold Level until now…haha!
My family just made diamond on our last cruise. I will find out how goes whwn we cruise next July. I like the free drinks and cheaper balconies.
Is there a happy hour with free drinks in the diamond lounge?
What are the additional cruise points for purchasing suite accommodations In gold status? I’m going on a 7 day cruise and staying in a grand suite, I know I’ll get 14 points. Do I get an additional points?
Does anybody know the realistic discount on balconies at the different tiers?
How much discount do you actually get as a platinum member? I'm currently on Platinum but haven't really seen much
Thanks Matt. Question, are the lapel pins still being given out? I've never received one and I'm up to Diamond.
how does it work with the free snacks/water with Diamond level? Is there a choice? thx
My family and I just reached Platinum. One day we will reach Diamond 😎👍🏻
Hey Matt! I did a Royal Up on my last cruise and got double points! I was able to get double points on a Large Balcony for my 6 night cruise!
Ah! I got double points on my last cruise taken earlier this month. I didn’t know the reason why but now I do. Thanks !
Do you guys know if RC does status match from other cruise lines?
I still have a couple more sailing for Diamond.. Almost there.. 45 more days until my next sailing..
Thanks
We finally got to platinum because last year they were offering double points! Will that ever happen again or was it just pandemic points?
Hi Matt! Are you a Diamond Plus or Pinnacle?
Is this updated with the change?
We are emerald status and have booked the 9 month world cruise which should make us pinnacle.
How many point for a cruise trip? Thanks
Do you earn any points for buying the drink package.
I wonder if they will add another tier for 340. There seem to be several added benefits at that milestone.
The discount on platinum for balcony cabin is not as good as my travel agent’s discount. It’s great to have a travel agent who gives OBC and a discount on prices.
What about solo cabins? Do they have 1 points per night?
I tier matched my MGM Resorts account with Royal Caribbean and became Emerald before my first sailing 🙌🏾
Curious how to do this? I have not sailed RCL yet but plan to do so in 2023 and I have an MGM resorts account with multiple stays.
Can you go over casino royal points and how those credit work
I cannot see the link for the discounts received onboard. Can you please share? Thanks!
Right?
Does the balcony discount apply with travel agents or is it only when booking direct?
No laundry service until diamond plus?
It takes 75 days sailing on Carnival.
If you cruise with Celebrity - does Royal add those points to your crown and anchor account?
Our adult son lives with us. We have diamond status. Does that mean that he is diamond status too?
