Great video Josh! The only thing is that those extra connectors in the harness are for a low pressure switch and not a heater. BD makes a good heater with a separate harness that works great with our pumps.
Great Video Josh!! You always have to make time to wear Safety Glasses, I am retired now and worked in a Fleet Shop for many years. My safety glasses had two chips on them, from two different incident's that saved my eye sight over the years. I started wearing them in High School and carried on with wearing them for 30 plus years. You owe it to yourself, your wife and your kids!! Take from an old timer, please!!
Josh that's a great video when i did my installation i could not get the electrical connection off on top of the tank so when i dropped the tank i removed all the oem crap from the tank and ran my return into the old straw my sump kit did not have a port for return fuel As always God bless you and stay safe out there 🙋♂️ 🇬🇧
I know this is older but for battery terminal corrosion take and put a dab of silicone on your battery in two spots away from the terminals but not super far so still on the top of the battery and stick a pennies to each dab of silicone and the corrosion will go to the pennies instead of your terminals.. this works great for those thst do proper maintenance and occasionally clean thw terminals the pennies will seriously slow corrosion ❤ over 6yrs on both trucks batteries and I've only gotten the very slightest amount of corrosion on the 5.7 hemi trucks terminals but I also tried those gold terminals so I am suprised they made it this long without any issues but it really does work great the copper pulls the corrosion to the pennies instead
Ya they’re have the price and I believe better micron rating. Also I run the Baldwin water sep it’s cheaper than the ad. Keep up the good content didn’t know you started your own channel. Love PDD
Also I do alot of vinyl and plastic work in construction. Next time put the drill in reverse first and it won't jump as much . Just saying my 2 cents not trying to Dis you at all because you know way more than me . Just trying to help :)
I love how you laugh at yourself Josh for filling your tank up 3/4 of the way :) I laughed a good one because we all do it but to admit it is being an amazing guy ! Thanks for all your videos I watch and reply to them all :) I hope I don't bug you Bro but your videos make me laugh and make me feel like your one of the guys and makes me feel at home . Thanks for all you do. I'm trying to stand up and help out just like you do. I have been posting but not enough. My Leukemia has been bothering me lately but I'm trying a new approach so hopefully I'll feel better soon. One day I would Love to meet you guys and buy you all a Beer !
Josh please go into detail about the trans build. I will consider it a personal favor. And if you do there will be a steak dinner in oklahoma waiting for you!!!!
Great video! Nice to see some of the parts and pieces going in. I like the return set up with that sump. Looking forward to seeing the tuning changes and how the fuel changes wake the truck up. Excited to see the transmission build and what I'm guessing will be the turbo(s) changes coming soon.
I bought the Beans Diesel deluxe Sump kit and an AirDog II 4g 200 lift pump. Do I need to modify the stock fuel pump in the gas tank or can I just run the AirDog lift pump and your Sump for supply and return and just use the wiring harness you supplied ? Just wondering if I need to drop the tank and cut the hoses on the stock pump or just use the Sump and Lift Pump and I'm Good ? Sorry it's my first time doing this lol
Love these videos. I’m trying to keep up basically copying what you guys are doing. Wish you had all the videos for this truck on a playlist. Keep them coming
@@horsetorquesdiesel just purchased air dog, XDP sump and bd fuel heater from your boss today talked to Tim. Your going to bring a lot of business to those guys. Being from Cedar city I’ll be buying as much as I can from the shop. Thanks again
If you have a Beans Sump do I need to modify the stock oem pump in the tank ? Or just connect the wiring harness and the Airdog pump will do it's job ? I also have the Fleece fuel filter delete to install . I just need to know if I need to modify the stock OEM pump in the tank if I have the Beans Sump and Fleece fuel filter Delete ?
I do not have that much room on the top and rail of the tank….i have 03 long bed and i cant figure out how i can run my sump and fuel lines where it will pass my state inspection….
If I wanted to add a fuel tank sump suction but already have a draw straw type suction, what would I need to do with the existing parts inside the fuel tank? Can I just leave them where they are and reroute the fuel lines below the tank instead like you did ? Thanks
The air dog will filter it out, or you can pull the tank down and rinse it out. With where the sump is drilled there is baffles so reaching in there you can get most of it if not all of it out
Great video Josh! The only thing is that those extra connectors in the harness are for a low pressure switch and not a heater. BD makes a good heater with a separate harness that works great with our pumps.
Thanks for the heads up, my bad!

This is the best install vid I’ve seen. I love you you did it on the ground with tools we all have too.
Of course man! Thanks for the support
Thank you for everything you do for all us DIY guys. I'm installing my AirDog 200GPH pump very soon and your videos have helped me out tremendously :)

Nice job on the tips and tricks video! Really enjoying the series Josh.
I’m having fun making them honestly
Also trim the edges of the bracket by the pump so you’re able to fit cat fuel filters way cheap and I personally like ‘em better than air dog filters
Never used them but good to know, thank you!

I really like the details of the install. Great vid.
Thank you!

Transmission videos coming this week!
Bro you gotta watch that heat gun. I had one that caught fire while i was using it. I replaced it with a Bauer one and haven’t had a issue since.

The previous video, the engine started hard. What was the issue?
Great install video.! I used it over the weekend. What kind of hose clamps are those exactly from summit? Like a part number or something
Love your videos man. All business 💪🏻👍🏻 Watching from Nova Scotia 🤠
Appreciate the support!!!!
Guess gnr diesel didn't patent their sump . Got one on my 06 dodge it looks identical to that black one
Must have, I just like the XDP one, had good luck with them in previous trucks, many good brands out there.
Very informative and great products!!!
Appreciate it!
I bought the Fleece Deluxe distribution Block :)
Mate...dat intRo gOes oFF bRo!!😁😎😊👊👍😚👌🤙💯!!
Glad you like it
Question?? ... I have a Beans Sump with just the single feed port ... can I use the draw straw as a return for the fuel? Thanks...great video 👍
Yeah just remove the straw portion and pump it into the top!
What is battleship 67 ytube channel? There’s a bunch of them listed
I do not have that much room on the top and rail of the tank….i have 03 long bed and i cant figure out how i can run my sump and fuel lines where it will pass my state inspection….
I have a question, do you have to cut the wires to the old fuel pump…or does the connector basically by pass it
What are your thoughts on a mechanical fuel pump such as Glacier Diesel’s? Adrian
Clean the shavings around the Hole LMAO !!! You just walk right into it LMAO !!!!
I prefer to use spit on the hose ends that way it dries super fast after you push the hose on. Haha spit works for alot of things lol 😆❤
Nice video and good install 😬🤘🏻
Thank you!
Can I run a beans return sump under the factory unit since it don’t have a straw?
How long does it take to install a Airdog and the Beans Sump ?
Great vid, what’s the part number for the fuel line brackets?
Same looking for the part number for those
If I wanted to add a fuel tank sump suction but already have a draw straw type suction, what would I need to do with the existing parts inside the fuel tank? Can I just leave them where they are and reroute the fuel lines below the tank instead like you did ? Thanks
Just leave them cap them off outside and run the sump!
What about shavings that were thrown in tank once you broke through ? I had chucks way in tank from the bit spinning in tank

@@horsetorquesdiesel yea I usually pull the tank . Cleaner the better with fuel system.
Awesome video once again bud. What y’all doing for air?
We have a bunch of new turbos to try!
Q: Can’t you mount this somewhere else other than behind the tire? I wanna do this but my tires fling big rocks.
Yep you can mount it on the inside of the frame wall as well.
Why not a fleece in tank pump set up instead of cutting hole in tank. They dont give you nice free stuff tho.
Doesn’t support the power we were going for.
Where can i order all this same parts
Power driven diesel!
@@horsetorquesdiesel sweet will be getting in contact with you guys. Should be getting my truck back next week
What are the benefits to a sump?
Gravity fed, instead of the pump sucking up a tube out the top of the tank.
Y’all sell this set up on the website?
Yes at my real job Power Driven Diesel
@@horsetorquesdiesel ok thank you I’ll check again after work only seen the 200 for 98.5-04
LOL I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU DID !!!! I"M A GENIOUS LMAO
