- James Bond Ties have been around since he premiered in Dr No, but for some reason we all coveted the Daniel Craig ones! For me my holy grails of 007 ties always existed in the movie Quantum of Solace. Well, thanks to an incredibly focused group of Bond fans, this video exists to discuss two of the ties I received from Tom Ford! Come with me as I show the items, review them, and discuss why this is such a big deal.

It might not be for everyone but Quantum is one of my fav Bond films.
It is a favourite Bond film for many of us. The trilogy of Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and then Skyfall will never be beat. Thank you Daniel Craig. Quantum is just great!
Quantum is best enjoyed if watched immediately after Casino Royale ♠️

Beautiful ties, David! These ties represent what a Bond tie should be. They're subtle and don't stand out, but they're sophisticated and all about the details. These ties show a very specific type of self expression. Because they're so subtle, some would argue that they don't show any self expression, but they show that Bond like to show that he's elegant and appreciates quality but also doesn't like to give away much about himself.

Ties are one of the few items that we men get to wear and get to be really expressive with. Same few suits, yet we can throw out a huge splash of color, or go silver, or go dull or black. And often times it is our mood that picks it for us. On a nice spring day maybe we are feeling bright, and wear a tie with yellows or green or orange. But on a winter day we wear black, blue, grey. Red power tie when we are feeling empowered or bold. We can be so expressive with our ties. Just make sure we throw out all our old 90's Frasier ties!!! I must have a good 50 plus ties, and even enjoy a good bow tie from time to time. Way to TIE it all together at the end. 😁 The Tie That Loved Me!
I love all of these, the Kazan tie was always my favourite!
I agree the Kazan is very versatile and looks amazing. I got the PTS, and Greene, but this one was my favorite as well.

I love Quantum, and the suit he wears in London… the Charcoal with the Aubergine tie… I think it’s the most gorgeous suit ever worn by anyone in history. I think Craig should love Quantum just because he got to wear it and look that good for one day in history.

I have the second tie, the one that you thought would look great with your suits. I bought mine in Harrods ( Tom Ford concession ) in their sale. £100. A bit of an eye catcher. 😉

The Quantum of Solace (QoS) suits were the best Bond suits. Why don't you do a podcast with fashion UA-camrs like Hugo Jacomet from the YT channel Sartorial Talks and Ashley Weston from Mens Fashioner and discuss the QoS and also other Bond suits with them (for example from Spectre, I loved those suits as well). Would love to hear the views from sartorial experts from outside the Bond world on Bond suits.
