Bold and Powerful
With a bold stance and modern styling, Expedition looks the part no matter what it’s doing - hauling a family, towing a camper or full of goods from the home improvement store. The design includes rugged, body-color front fascia with quad LED headlamps and model-specific grille designs.
Room for All
With all three rows of seating, Expedition and Expedition MAX comfortably fit eight people. It’s also equipped with the 40/20/40 CenterSlide second-row seating that allows 11 inches of forward/rearward adjustment. Available cargo space with the seats folded yields up to 104.6 cubic feet in the Expedition and 121.5 cubic feet in the extended-length Expedition MAX.
Strong and Capable
The 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine provides the power customers need for weekend projects or family trips with 375 horsepower. The performance factors increase with the specially tuned 3.5L engine in the Platinum, which generates 400 horsepower and 480 lb.‑ft. of torque.(5) When equipped with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, Expedition can tow up to a max. 9,300 lbs. Customers can also get the FX4 Off-Road Package for more adventures.
A Leader in Technology
Expedition provides the technology needed to complete the portrait of a refined, capable and complete vehicle. Standard Ford Co‑Pilot360 driver-assist features, FordPass Connect with Wi‑Fi hotspot which is now standard on all series, SYNC 3 is enhanced for 2020, and when combined with Enhanced Active Park Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go it's easy to see how Expedition is a high-tech all-star.
I cant believe more dealerships don't do videos like this. I'd be more likely to buy from a dealer that takes time like this to go through a vehicle.
Duane Barrett Thanks for watching! Subscribe because we keep them coming! :)
But is not v8
@@danielosei341 doesn't need to be the EcoBoost is more powerful than the V8
@guy proulx sound doesn't matter when the power is there.
Raiti's Rides does a thorough review.
One major thing you forgot or may have not been aware of is that if you have the suv in “D”and come to a complete stop and open the driver door the shifter moves back to “P” automatically.
It comes with the new dial shifter just in case the driver parks and forgets to move it back to Park. Just thought I’d point it out, good review sir 👍🏻😉 we just bought our king ranch 2 weeks ago or so and we love it.
Was waiting for you guys to review this! Love the genuine interest of the viewers
The King Ranch edition is the absolute best. Very impressive.
It can't match the Lincoln Nav. L. Which is bigger better
Great Video. I had a 2018 Expedition Max Platinum and hands down the best SUV I have ever had. Way better then the escalade it replaced and was so fun to drive and own. Sadly traded it in for a Raptor before I started my youtube channel. Would have loved to do an owner impression video. The best part was being able to coast at 80mph at like 1700 rpms with such a smooth ride. I was constantly between 22-23 mpg on the hwy. That king ranch is so sweet.
The "snake" is called the running W. I'm a huge King Ranch addict! On my 3rd one. A big beautiful F350 dually KR.
You remind me of Chris Farley. Seriously, you do in a great way. Keep the videos coming! I love when you review them especially talking smack about GM... Go pack go!
Johnny Cash Thanks for watching!
Great video! My Grandma loves her new 2019 XLT Expedition
Na, the cattle and trucking business got it covered. They also got it for a really good deal, and traded in her 2013 Edge.
@Jar Jar ha mind yours lol
@Jar Jar you got Owned😂😂😂
Badass expi king ranch! I got a 06 Expi king ranch, love it!
Just bought a new 2020 king ranch. Love it so far
Congrad👍, it is my dream car😋
@Armando Sturzenegger it listed for 80k
Subscribing because of the reviewer’s entertainment value. He reminds me so much of Chris Farley.
The stylized W on the king ranch is the logo of the King Ranch which is a snake and was used as the branding iron to brand their cattle😁👍
Rod Wilson , we said that?
@@LascoFord no you didn't say that exactly as he did.
@@LascoFord Lying Bs'er.
“Hope you throw your back out trying to throw the box into your suburban.” Ha you are funny. Enjoyed the review. Saw you for the first time with the F250 review. Nice work. Keep them coming please.
HAHA :) Thanks 👍
I find your video's realy great, please keep them coming.
John Campochiaro We sure will. Thanks for watching! Like & Subscribe for more :)
That's one bad ass suv. I would definitely purchase it. I love the stone grey color also it looks beautiful
The GM SUV's have a hatch glass that opens.
so does the expedition.
THAT’S ONE BAD ASS SUV THIS ONE HAD GREAT SPECIAL FURNITURES I BEEN TALKING TO MY FATHER AND MOTHER ABOUT GETTING A BIGGER ONE SUV THIS IS IT THINK YOU GREAT REVIEW DO YOU TAKE TRADE IN FOR THIS ONE
Man I'd love to own one but way out of my price range
18:45 That kind of honesty makes me wanna buy from them!
Agreed. Also watch the Raiti's Rides reviews.
Great video. Can you do a video on a Platinum 2020 Expedition 4x4, or at least on on the difference between 2019 and 2020. Keep posting the video, they’re very informative.
Michael H We plan on it. Thanks
Awesome, thank you.
I betcha that pick up would haul a nice big Michigan Buck 🦌, sweet 👌, nice trucks with a lot of tech. " Awesome "
This is the best King Ranch to date ... 2020 Tahoe has no room here
2021 Tahoe does.
Tell us about your expansive video studio there! I rarely see a service lane so well-kept, especially in a state where it occasionally snows.
I've always liked the Expedition (I had a '99 or 2000, and traded that in for a 2003 Explorer EB that lasted 12 years, etc., etc.), and the color you're showing off here is a beauty!
Also, it's "Diamonds in the back, sunroof top, digging the scene with a gangster lean..."
Hahaha our service lanes are always kept in tip top shape. Clean work environment leads to better quality work :) Thanks for watching.
The King Ranch is really nice! I’m not a fan of the 22” wheels.
Cool looking vehicle
Joshua logan Smith Thanks for watching!
Ohh probably can't afford it like most people but that doesn't mean I don't want it not sure what it is about the king ranch series or line but I would choose that over the platinum any day.
What are you guys talking about? this dealership doesn’t make its money from selling cars, it makes its money from ads.
would be good to see a comparison of the king ranch vs. the platinum. The platinum costs more but what are the differences.
Bad ass suv makes me miss my king ranch
Knowledgeable salesman right here...Easily can tell he has studied the brand. I think that's an aspect of quality
And no I dont know him.
I do not believe the Max adds "more room for the back seat". Pretty sure the extra ~12" is behind the third row.
Is it as big, long, as the Lincoln N. L??
@@captainamericaamerica8090 same
How do you get the beeping sound to stop when you open the door and your car is off
Do all King Ranch have captain chairs?
Seems like at this price point maybe the Navigator would be the better choice?
Cannot stand the dash and center console on the Navigator
I like the navigator better.
That's a sweet ride
Just found this video...from a local dealership of mine.
When you did the 70mph test drive, why was the instrument panel blinking on and off? How many of these high end Expedition's do you
sell in a month, year?
brockwaykid Sensor and frame rate on the camera 25fps much slower that a LED. Very common on all LED lights in lower natural Frame rate. Damn iPhones 🤪
Beautiful SUV
Fantastic video, thank you!
The only thing I don't like is the co-pilot and v-6. Is the coyote motor available on this model? I might to be able to live with the v-6 but the co-pilot is a deal breaker for me. Can the higher optioned models like this one be ordered without the co-pilot or can the co-pilot be disabled? The GM models have a similar set up and also the new 2021 Suburban with IRS.
The 2021 Tahoe is coming for the Expedition.
cubedmack false
If you can keep it from throwing the lifters through the head long enough to drive it …..
It is a beautiful truck, the price for a high end vehicle is very expensive. I almost have to sell my kids to own something like this. It is an amazing SUV though. Great video
The only thing it's missing is a heads up display
Is this Stone Gray exterior color ?
Nice 👍 👍👍👍
Dealer had a 2020 King Ranch, had it been a Max 4x4 it would be in my garage instead of the limited.
What's the difference between king ranch and platinum trim..??
It is a great vehicle
what is the windshield wiper de-icer? I noticed this is also included with the 2020 super duty trucks as well.
All County Snow Pros, Inc It is a heating element in the glass below the wipers that heats them up to melt snow and ice off the wipers.
Ford, wake up, time for a much bigger infotain screen. You can find an 8 inch in a Hyundai car.
What is it like in the road?
12:26 stats . 5 foot 8 .. and weight is ...?
Awesome job guys keep bringing them videos
I'll tuck tail with my 2004 Eddie Bauer
What does it cost?
Im family man, and have a 2005 ford expidition. I love that i can pack my 6 kids in the back, the only thing i dont like is the limited trunk space for traveling. Which doesn't allow us to pack the way we need to. I wanna upgrade my vehicle someday. Which expedition should i upgrade to? And do expedition come with screen for entertainment in the car?
Emmanuel Wilson get the expedition max for more cargo space in the back. And I’m pretty sure they have screens on the back of the head rests for an option.
Thank you
@@Robert.Lee1989 is it as big as the Lincoln Navigator L?
Captain America America expedition max is the same size as the navigator L
👍👍👍👍👍
I'm all about Ford but mocking Bose as if they're cut rate speakers is childish.
David, if you watch video's on our channel we try to have fun and poke a lot at things. It is all in good spirit and if it is not for you we are sorry. We just try to provide the best content we can but we do try to make it a little entertaining and fun while doing it.
Bose was once a name and quality speakers, they have cheapened down to regular cardboard speakers now so same junk as everyone else.
@@SMiller5488 Bose speakers in my tahoe and parents Revolve + are top notch. Their A20 headset is above the rest in comfort in quality. Maybe their car speakers aren't what they use to be, haven't listened to newer models to form an opinion but certainly not "junk as everyone else".
Are they offering these with a Diesel engine in 2020 at any point?
No, 3.5 EcoBoost only
The running W is not a rattle snake! Check your history!
, Didn't know Kerry king sells cars now lol
Rear lift gate issues. Ford knows about this but are unwilling to correct.
Eco boost, octane rate of gas in takes.
No V8 equals no sale
I used to say that. Then I drove one. The V6 twin turbo mated to the 10 speed gearbox blows my previous three Denali’s with the 6.2L away.
@@brettrun8575 you have been compromised. How about a V8 twin turbo? Why do the powers-that-be want us to settle for a V6?
Mark Solomon because making as much (or more) power and torque while doing so more efficiently make sense. Open your mind. I’ve owned both. The v6 Expedition is more powerful and much smoother than the three Denalis I owned before it. Fact.
I hear you, and I understand, but I just don't like being forced to settle. I bought my wife a trackhawk in 2018 instead of a Ford Explorer, because of the engine limitation in the Explorer. I know they are nice engines and they perform well and are efficient, but why do I with money to spend have to be denied access to V8 power which Ford does a very good job of supercharging as evidenced by my 2014 GT500 and my 2003 Mustang Cobra and my 2001 lightning?. Just think if the new Expedition had a 6.2 liter blown engine, your vehicle and you as the driver would be in a very elite group, and you would own the road in that boat
Mark Solomon I guess my opinion is that if you want a sports car then buy a sports car. If you want a full-size SUV with more than enough hp and torque the twin turbo V6 is very powerful and more efficient.
Something about his speech pattern is annoying? Anyway awesome vehicle...
He is trying to talk too fast.
I bet they wont put the 7.3 with the 10 speed in it and call it the Excursion. But that means put it on a F250 HD frame. Thus Ford will not put money into something cool and would sale.
EXCURSIONS ARE STILL THE KINGS OF THE SUVS! BIGGER BETTER BUILT. THE DOORS HAVE STEEL THICK SAFETY BARS. MASSIVE BUMPERS TOO.
How impossible would it be to order one with a 6.7
Shawn Haywood 100% impossible 🤷🏼♂️
until ford upgrades their little 8in screen to something more modern & relevant, it wont run many people's pockets
Will a 16 inch screen satisfy you lol?
yes sir. anything that can compete with the newest Rams. a refreshed update is needed. current seems outdated. only thing thats holding me back from ever purchasing a ford. but its whatever ig less money to spend
@@toastcrunch96 so you wanna spend less money but want ford to pur in a screen double the size. Seems like if the technology increases the price does too. Dousnt seem realistic.
Alabama ford head manager called me and I never reached out to me. Their price is cheaper, not to mention they are bigger and better
What?!?
$79,090.00 and it will drop $25k immediately!
for 80 grand???
Ford Honking car locking
* Wakes people up.
(Wakes babies and children)
* Startles people walking down streets, in parking lots and garages, and in their homes.
( The noise can be heard Inside homes and buildings in the vicinity)
*Creates serious noise stress for people with
Ptsd
Cardiac Disease
Hypertension
Insomnia
Migraines
( I am a cardiac patient and stroke survivor. This noise makes my heart go arrhythmic.
* Creates noise stressful noise in otherwise peaceful locations such as parks, residential neighborhoods, hospital grounds, and school campuses.
It is Christmas morning. At 7:45 am right outside my window someone. HONKED. and...for what?
***** There are other ways of letting people know their cars are locked and armed than a
HORN BLAST.
Please Ford use/switch to technology that does not emit noise into our communities!!!
The current technology is very Very painful and stressful for many of us. Thank you.
It honks on second push of the lock button, as a confirmation. Versus everytime like some manufacturers. It can easily be disabled by the owner or the dealership, if the owner wants.
That said, I don't appreciate the audible confirmations either. Some folks are incredibly selfish and unaware of those around them. So I get it.
But if it's a Ford and honks, it's the owner hitting lock twice for it to do that.
In 2000 I paid for my Expedition less then 50 thousands for fully loaded with sale . WTF that Expedition is right now double price???? When interior is exactly the same as F150. THAT'S COMPLETE BULL SHIT.
Middle row with seats not feel good than a bench. Kids with Mom or Dad or adult sitting with them better than 2 seat row at least one more person total 3 people in same bench though not convenient m Japanese car feel better than these type of seats
Wow I will never buy one of those! One piece of gravel will shatter the whole thing! I am old school I want a truck not an egg! Cant put snow tires on a 22 inch to through the mountains! Those tires that are on there must be race car tires you wont get any traction with them!
Beautiful truck, but good God those new wheels (for 2020) are UGLY.
Rather buy something else for that money
$79K damn all I want is a car - not a spaceship - - maybe Im old old cus I seen nothing mentioned abt CD player - I love my 2000 Expedition EB - I fix it every time and every time the mechanic ask why not get a new vehicle cus he wants it - I still have a few original parts on my truck all I want Ford to do is make me that same 2000 FEEB vehicle nothing else. I am scared when my big green goes out on me it has 168k miles and I do not look forward to spaceship I mean car shop.
Or transactional and what horsepower does it have does it have the 355 or 373
You got it all wrong Cadillac and Chevy is copying Ford and Lincoln
Ford is over priced.
Dirt Diver any car nowadays is overpriced wym
