Interestingly enough I have both of these cameras. I just got the RP w/ 24-240 at a bargain and I am much more happy with it considering I like to shoot video. Also, I bought the 24-70 from a pawn shop and sent it in for repair, soon to return. It is insane how we literally almost have the same set up. Happy you all uploaded this video. Any recommendations? Considerations?

@@KH_the_filmmaker Hey Kyle, I have a question for you. Have you ever had any issue with the 24-70mm mk 1 and the mirrorless systems? I picked up my 24-70 today from repair and it still did not have the issue resolved. (Error 01 faulty communication between lens and camera)
I can shoot in auto and do video but…that is not what I was expecting or want. We tried the lens on DSLR bodies and it worked flawlessly. Have you had this issue? And have you updated your adapter firmware (or downgraded) in order to have the communication between lens and mirrorless body to work?

I never had any issues with mine when I had it so unfortunately I don’t have any helpful tips for you

@@KH_the_filmmaker thank you for your responses. Turns out, the 24-70mm had another issue with the aperture. Was giving ERR 01 if the aperture was closed down at all. Took it back to the repair shop, and luckily they sent it to the warehouse for fix without me having to pay..
I shot with it a bit at 2.8, to say the least it’s incredible as you’ve mentioned
