The Sea to Summit Spark Pro Down Sleeping Bag is designed for the fast-paced pros tackling low-temperature adventures!
Featuring a Mummy Fit for thermal efficiency and minimal weight on those wildlife wanders, the Spark Pro -9C boasts a 10D Nylon construction in the shell, lining, hood, and footbox for lightweight breathability and water resistance on every outdoor retreat. A technical hood also offers a soft-touch adjustment, sitting deep for a warmer winter-camping experience. Plus, to minimise cold spots, vertical and horizontal chest baffles are present in both the lower-half and base, while a box wall baffle construction exists throughout the entirety of the bag.
Designed for efficiency on every overnighter, the Spark Pro’s Free Flow Zip System includes a full-length #5 side zipper and ¼-length #3 secondary zipper, each with a zip plow and two sliders, while the #3 footbox zipper with two sliders completes a unique arrangement that offers sufficient temperature regulation, versatility, and multiple bag configurations. An RDS certified 950+ FILL Power goose down provides both comfort when unpacked and a compact pack down, treated with ULTRA-DRY down water-repellent to protect from moisture on the damper days off the grid. A -2°C comfort rating and -9°C lower limit also has it suitable for cold-weather camping.
For the fast and light braving the frosty climates, the Spark Pro Down Sleeping Bag by Sea to Summit offers lightweight durability on the heavier endeavours.
Good, informative review
Thank you. ~ Ben
Looks great
They are awesome. ~ Ben
Do you know if this bag can be paired with a women's ascent down or trek down ? Is the mommy fit of the spark pro an issue to be paired with these bags ? Thank you !
The Spark Pro does have zip coupling - it will connect to a women's specific model
The shape isn't much of an issue, it should still be a comfortable option
~ Lauren
If 850 cuin goose down was used, the Spark 45°F best for 16°C (60°F); the Spark 30°F best for 11°C (50°F); the Spark 15°F best for 0°C (30°F); and the Spark 0°F best for -10C (15°F).
What are you basing these ratings on? ~ Ben

Any internal zippered storage pockets?
Not on the Spark Pro
~ Lauren
@@SnowysOutdoors Do you sell any bags with internal zippered pockets?
@@bradl2636 we do - are you looking far a similar bag to this, eg down & hiking suitable?
~ Lauren
@@SnowysOutdoors yes indeed
@@SnowysOutdoors Prefer down. Comfort rated down to -10 to -6 degrees with internal pockets. Alternatives?
Only - 2 comfort 😬
According to international testing standards, the "Comfort" is applicable for women, and the "Lower Limit" is the comfort for men.
If you're a man, its a -9 "comfort"
~ Lauren
The Spark Pro -9C seems reliable in terms of comfort temperature close to 0°C.
That would be ca good guide if you are a cold sleeper
There are loads of variables that affect how warm you sleep

The regular should be 185 cm max right? Crazy if it fits you with 195cm. I am 187cm and wondering if the regular one would be enough for me 🤔 Will definitely be upgrading from the spark 3, as the zipper system here allows me to use it 4 seasons
I'm 185cm, I reckon anyone taller than this would be best going for the long version. ~ Ben
They should do a Spark Pro -18 🤩😆
Haha, you never know what they might product in the future. ~ Ben
