These toy companies are completely out of touch with the consumer. I always thought they did market research to see what will sell & be poplular. But it looks like they are just throwing crap at the wall hoping something will stick. And why did they start making so much baby/toddler crap? Star Wars has Mission Fleet & Young Jedi Adventures & Transformers has all that Cyberverse & Earthspark shit nobody wants. What makes them think anybody wants that baby crap? It takes up all the space in the regular action figure aisle when it belongs over in the Imaginext pre-school aisle.
I’ll say as someone who doesn’t live anywhere near an Ollie’s these stores are amazing! So many talk about how much of the stock is at these stores and I’ll say, I haven’t seen most of this stuff sold at stores near me! The prices are also a great deal. My area and even up to 3 hours away I couldn’t find this much product. If it were me I’d be picking up a lot of stuff like WWE, Star Wars, etc. Sometimes it’s not that people don’t want it. Some places just never get it. I could order it all online but it adds up to quick when you can’t find most of it. I’ll say some people want it, we just never get access in store to it sometimes.

They should call stores such as Ollie's and Target Disney toy _retainers_ as opposed to Disney toy retailers, since *nobody else* wants to hold them aside from landfill sites.
Disney finds value in the numbers of slow-movers it can draw. Their need for mass extinction lives on.
Disney watches the video and takes notes: So we have to make Spider-Man 3 toys
I bet an RNC Hulk Hogan would sell.
Power Rangers fan here
Disney actually bought Power Rangers in 2002, however they shortly HATED it as it was "too violent for them"
What's funny is some of the best Power Rangers seasons (Wild Force, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, SPD, Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury and RPM) came from Disney, and now they own Marvel and Star Wars, which are way more violent than anything in Power Rangers
Like the cleaning of a house, it never ends
"i thought she was popular"
Me: only in rule 34....
And when Ashley Eckstein voiced the character.
I wish I had an Ollies near me
Yeah well me too BT I'm in fucking scotland I'm at least 2000 miles from an ollies😂
I want cheap figures too dammit😂😂
Same. I have to go distance to find one
Not all Ollies are created equal. Mine doesn't have half the stuff you see in these videos.
The new Ollie's Black Series exclusives were announced yesterday at SDCC lol
The WWE figures sell out way more than anything Star Wars does😂
I’ll say as someone who doesn’t live anywhere near an Ollie’s these stores are amazing!
I'm in Massachusetts we do not have an Ollie's we get Walmart Dollar tree and some other Dollar store bulshit at the Ocean State Job lots in Palmer Massachusetts I found toys that hadn't been touched in 6 or 7 years there's no actual distribution plan for any of these toys at the consumer level
just so you know, LEGO has also this issue, like the Jyn Erso figure from 2016, its still.on shelfs
I kinda get Minecraft. It's mostly about playing the game and the memories you make playing it, both solo and multi player, having fun building things, surviving monster attacks, dungeon dives, and so on. There are more realistic sandbox/survival games out there, but it just has that nice middle of the road charm about it.
Disney just can’t help themselves with those licenses fee all before 2012 the price for the plastic was fair now that the mouse deals out the deals it’s gone up 50 maybe 75
You know the only modern Disney action figure that's actually going to be worth anything is Cara Dune.
Long live the Star Wars Holiday Special day!❤
"nobody wants Hulk Hogan figures anymore" 2 secs later he proceeds to buy the newest Hulk Hogan figure...LOL. I love the Hulk figures, more please Mattel!!!!
I know right
I know right?
I hear that. Got an nWo Hogan almost right next to me. Hulkamania 4 lyfe, Brother.

Ollie's is nothing but an indoor landfill.
At least their book section is awesome.
I used to play Minecraft on my old Kendall, what I loved was the freedom to buld and make whatever I wanted in creative mode.
I miss it.
the jessica drew figures are such a plague, lmao... everytime i try to find spiderman 2099 there's like 4 jessica figures
So many Chinese kids had to paint all those hunks of plastic.
I only have two Star Wars figures; the old mail-in Han in Stormtrooper uniform from the 80s, and a Bill Burr figure. Thinking of putting Burr inside a jar of soy sauce.
😂
When ever i see the video to do with toys from you , i always think how DC doing and i see the dc stuff and it not as bad as Disney junk .
Going this afternoon to see Deadpool & Wolverine. Let's hope it's good.
That new Iron Man series of figures with the 90s packaging is pretty nice. If I was still collecting Marvel Legends, I would get them.
You skipped right past a MGS AT-TE !!! Those are awesome
15:53 he says "Crappy collectibles" in front of a shelf with some SHF and Neca figures which are actually really dang good
I really wanted the Ahsoka series to ba good. Needless to say, I was reeaaally disappointed. 😕
It was the last straw for me. After BoBF, Kenobi and Mando season 3, Ahsoka capped it off. I haven't watched anything Star Wars since.
Oh boy, I cant wait for all the Oshas, Maes and everyones favorite sith Quimir, who is evil just cause! Everyone can relate to those characters!!!
@WorldClassBullshitters I need that MOTU/TMNT Krang figure.......I'm enraged at how bad the local distribution is in my local Wal-Marts!
Finally got mine this weekend, an awesome figure!
The only one that I would want out of the last couple of shows is Baylan Skoll.
As soon as I saw that ' warbird' was at that target, I jumped in my car heading over to your vicinity. I was on I-99 breaking the speed limit and odometer, when a semi swerved into the fast lane, I narrowly avoided it,but I didn't miss the kawasaki ninja that took a nose dive, sending shrapnel across my windshield, I almost slammed on the breaks, but the wind tail caused me to slide under the semi and I almost got crushed as the semi then careened against the safety wall and jack knifed then exploded into shards of debris. I skidded into a embankment of rubble as the truck burst into flames. After everything was cleared away by the police, I found out the truck was heading to target but it didn't have any ' warbirds' just transformers legacy bulkhead, which I already possess 😂❤
After watching your videos its having the reverse effect….i need to go to Ollies and buy a Shuri copter😂
The Walmart Exclusive 1988 Remastered TMNT figures are cool.
i was young enough to grow up with tmnt and older brands but also minecraft, what sad is ive seen toys still sell to kids but only games. fnaf, mimecraft, and fortnite spark kids imaginations and they get excited amd want the stuffs, the sad truth is why get into old brands your parents (some grand parents) brands with years of terrible content vs new fredh brands that havent spoiled yet.
Those Star Wars Lego Mechs of Darth Vader and the Stormtrooper are pretty cool. Even if they are way over-priced.
I have the Vader one and it’s kinda underwhelming so to say
It has almost the same or even less amount of articulation as the Creator Super Robot, and I feel the only reason why it’s priced way high is because of a minifigure and that it’s from a certain IP
@@ryon5174 All LEGO is overpriced, and it has been that way since the late 80s.
@@jaymethysell5111 all Lego is overpriced true, and it’s even moreso when you compare something like a set from a certain IP/License than their own original lineups
80s ninja turtles the new one look like wimpy geckos
9:18 I can't believe you passed on Rey Mysterio Jr in classic 60s Batman color scheme.
Gotta disagree with the Hulk Hogan not being wanted.. Its pre WWF 1984 ones nobody wants if they put him in WWF Hulkamania. Hulk Rules, the other 2 hasbro style 2002 Hulk Still Rule & NWO 1997.. he will always sell (Next 20 years at least till his fans turn about 70) because hes a big for 80s pop culture in sport as Madonna, Michael Jordan Michael Jackson were in there field
80's stuff remains popular because it was really cool back then and still is to this day! Who's gonna be buying 2010's era characters in 40 years?
@@ryanjacobson2508 Your not wrong in 2050 i'm sure i'll still see Darth Vader Luke Skywalker Superman Batman & Spider-Man toys movies not Miles Morales not Grogu tho as Profit beats agenda again
I look forward to each installment of Worthless Kingdom! Keep up the good work.
I don't like Minecraft but it's digital Legos. That's the appeal.
Is there a point where the discount stores will not buy Disney toys that will not sell they do not seem to sell at all😅
the never ending serie ❤😂
Keith Lee got a WWE action figure?? That's going to be a rare collector's item. 😄
The other day, I went to Ollie's and marveled (no pun intended) at the hundreds of Star Wars figures they had on extreme discount. As I stared in amazement, a thought crossed my mind. "Look at this wonderful diversity!"
