It wasn’t perfectly clear in the video but the rounded part of the clip is what is going to press the body panel edge against the mudflap. I wish the clip had more of a curve / edge so that the slot truly held the clip from rotating. Trying to force the edge into the side slot to keep the clip from rotating made me feel like I was going to break the clip. There are no extra clips in the package. Since the plastic is not pre-threaded it makes the screws nice and tight but is also a pain since the flat edge would not stay in the slot when screwing the clip on. I think it would be a far better design to plastic weld or add the clip somehow to the plastic mold of the mud flap then the name washer and screw would be reinforcement / looks. I just put them on my 2021 and the fronts were really easy. The backs were only a pain because of having to remove the wheel. The design on these feels solid and the install secure. I originally tried to use some slide ons but one fell off when I was driving, hence getting Rok’s design. Thanks for the video was a bit more helpful than the PDF they give you.
Great instructions, they helped me a lot! Only thing I didn't do was the thread locker. My experience with using thread locker in plastic fittings is that some plastics don't play well with the chemicals and either become brittle or soft. As long as you are installing one time, I feel pretty confident that the stainless-steel screws will bite and hold the plastic J-nuts. Of course, if you have reason to remove them more than once I would either consider replacing the J-nuts to ensure they continue to hold the screws or maybe add a dab of black RTV to hold the screw.
Do you think it would be possible to install without removing rear tires ? I would like to install these just trying not remove tires. Has anyone that watched this video installed these without removing tires?
That would make it extremely difficult. Much easier to remove one rear wheel at a time to give you the access you need to be able to remove the stubborn pins and to open the bottom hole to the larger size.
@@mcgurrentertainment Yes they will work but I recommend the 2015-2022 MUSTANG SPLASH SHIELDS found on California Pony Cars. Installed these on Sunday went on easy and look great.

Just ordered a set for my car because of this video. Thanks
Nice!!!
Thanks, this video was perfect.
Love the mustang color scheme, sharp car.
Thank you. I'll let her know 😁
Very smart looking Mustang and a great video overall!
Thank you very much. It really means a lot!!!
excellent great video
Thank you very much!!! 😁
Any issues since install? Were those stainless screws so they don't rust?
Great question. So far, so good. No rust or any issues on both Mustangs (crossing fingers).
@@mcgurrentertainment Thanks I'll give them a try.

I would like to install these just trying not remove tires.
Has anyone that watched this video installed these without removing tires?
Using a small ratchet screwdriver, the screws can be tightened without any issue. The question is, is there enough room to drill the lower screw hole?
That would make it extremely difficult. Much easier to remove one rear wheel at a time to give you the access you need to be able to remove the stubborn pins and to open the bottom hole to the larger size.
Sending them back don't fit correctly.
I'm sorry to hear that
