How to Install New Brake Hoses for Nissan Frontiers
Here’s the thing, sound bars are a thing because they are easy and do increase the quality of the sound of a tv, add a small 8” or 10” powered subwoofer and it’s good enough. I did this for my parents with my siblings as a Christmas present and it sounded 1000% better than the speakers on their brand new tv. Now I myself love audio and that’s why I’m building my setup now using used AVR and trying my hand at building my own center channel and Dolby height speakers while using old JBL series 8083 theatre speakers as left and right. I think it’ll be pretty badass but it’s way more involved.
That would be cool
My 2016 had 2 motors replaced under warranty. Each time, I got about 3 months of normal use and the issue came back. Added dielectric grease to the motor connector after the last replacement, which got me a few more months, but now it's back. I used so much dielectric grease I had to clamp the connector to get it to latch, and it STILL came back. I'm wondering if it's one of the wires or connectors in whatever sensor turns the interior lights on, and drops the window when you open the door. My interior lights stay off, but I'm thinking it's one of the other wires. There's no way it's the motor itself after all of these issues. Also, dielectric grease is non-conductive and designed to be used around electrical connectors. Shouldn't be an issue if it gets in the connector.
Very odd. Is it both windows still? And I'm guessing it's no longer under warranty.
awesome video. very informative, but damn, with my impatience and ADHD and everything else...i would never make it through the whole process!
Lol, thank you. It's a process...
I have a 2009 Frontier here in Mobile Alabama I need to put some spark plugs in my truck
Cool. Let me know how it goes
Does this feature come on 5.0 and other mustangs? Or just a specific model
Both. All Mustangs except for the base model
@ ok thank you so much great vid too💯
One way to make this go faster is to presiak your mat with a roller and then stab it into the mold because most of the time goes into soaking the mat when you use a brush. You can soak multiple layers at the same time and apply them all together.
Gotcha
0:48 "I wanted to recreate the exact same one... make the exact same thing" Proceeds to not use bolts and bond the lot together to make a plug - mould - part.
Correct. The original design was not intended for permanent installation. So, we decided to go a step further to make it structurally sound.
How much time did this take overall? If it's 4-5 days how much would you charge to make a profit?
This was an off/on project due to other projects being a priority. But if I had to guess, start to finish... maybe 10 days. That includes the plug, mold, and the part. If a part was being made, maybe 3-4 days in the background. Where are you located?
Just installed mines …works great 🫡 thanks for the simple video
Nice!!! 👏 Kudos
badass work man
Thank you!!!!
Mine didnt work maybe something else is broken, windows stays down and after a couple of rides if goes back up 😢
Hard to say. Could be the window regulator
Is there a reason why in all the Altima oil change videos no one lifts the car by the center lift point?
I know the main reason for me was having room to work, especially for camera gear and lighting. It's hard to get good camera angles with the jack stands in the way.
I have watched plenty of videos car repair. This has to be the best I have ever seen very detailed and not in a rush.
Thank you 😊
As others have said, absolute legend ! Worked a treat on my UK/RHD 2017 GT 5.0 Convertible. This problem had been getting worse over the months to the extent it would drain the battery overnight with the window going up and down. Survived the week removing the window fuse (#26 for RHD drivers-side) but followed the very well described and accurate instructions at the weekend and so far has stopped it happening again. Well worth trying if you're experiencing the same problem. Many many thanks Mcgurr
Thank you very much!!! I'm glad to hear it helped 😊
Way above my skillset. Thanks for the tutorial. Similar process with carbon fiber?
Thank you. Carbon fiber has some similar, however it can be a totally different animal. The forming/layup process to the resin type is different
I don’t have push start I have a regular key , will I be able to use the original keyfob?
Unknown. You may need to contact the manufacturer
Great video
What is the thread compound for? Do you recommend?
It's applied to the threads of a fastener to prevent it from loosening over time due to vibration or parts shifting.
I have the analog gauges but not MyColor 😭😭😭
question, this radio on Amazon shows a microphone as part of one of the accessories and you did not install one in this video. Did your package not come with one?
At the time of the video, the radio did not include an external microphone (but you could add one). If one was included, I would likely install it on the sunvisor.
@mcgurrentertainment ok thanks!
The jokes, spongebob references, and thorough instructions. 10/10 video
This is so awesome. I have a 1988 F250 that needs a new headliner. A new very thin and flimsy plastic headliner costs $500. Keep in mind this is a single cab 2 door truck so the headliner isn't very big (39x57 inches). The new headliner is a complete ripoff. Now I'm researching DIY fiberglass headliner and this is the best video I've found so far. I might even make new fiberglass door panels. Thanks for this video.
That would be cool
Nice job! But you could have saved yourself a whole lot of work by making the plug in two pieces and then gluing them together after you shaped them.
That's a good option as well.
Can I download it into my phone then jump it in to the truck
Ummm what?
Thank you so much for this video! Really well done, and super informative. Really cool that you even explained the mold making process and all that. I look forward to trying my hand at fiberglass fabrication.
Thank you very much!!! Let me know if you have any questions.
Not in a million years dude hell no
You don't have to paint it orange...
can you make a Performance Cold Air Intake.
Are you thinking something like this? ua-cam.com/video/xIFUaMkwZxw/v-deo.html
Nice work!
Impresive. It camed out like a peace made in fabric. Congrats! I'll try - hope soon - to make some car doors and other parts of that. Blessings!
Half circle blade on Fein tool is much easier to control
Good to know. I'll give that a try. Thank you
Great video. I found the pulley down and to the left of the tensioner easier as the last pulley. It also doesn't have a lip. The separation of releasing the tension and sliding the belt on helped.
Nice!!!
Go ahead, and stop saying go ahead... everything else was great! Thank you!
Go ahead
Does this include the mustang ecoboost 2022? Thanks
Yes
What’s the compound on the screws for?
Good question. It's applied to the threads of a fastener to prevent it from loosening over time due to vibration or parts shifting.
@@mcgurrentertainment thank you !!
Anytime 😊
Cleanup: How do you cleanup shop? clothing? self?
Shop: I use drop cloth for fiberglass work and the rest is just dust (sweep it up. Clothing: washer and dryer (wash separately from normal clothes). Self: normal soap and water. I wear gloves a majority of the time.
White Marker: which one?
Paint Markers (nothing fancy): amzn.to/3ZbRqDl
Awesome!
Thank you!!!
This is something I can definitely do with the supervise of someone 🥲🥲
With out sounding too anal please use a mask when routering mdf
Couldn't you just cut bits on wood to correct size then glue on backing board ???????
I could. But the point was to share a way to accomplish the goal from scratch
Thanks for that my friend.
That’s a lot of work. I think you get it injection molded and delivered to you after. There are online services that can do this.
True. But that would require drawings, and a custom mold be made by the third party. That can get expensive.
Nice! Very nice!
Outstanding
Thanks a lot, you got me up and running again. Seems if the AC is blowing even better on all settings. Thanks again. Your video was very, very helpful. Have a great day!
That's awesome. I'm glad the video helped
This is awesome bud !!!! Thank you
when i was a yungin i was a waxer/gelcoater at a factory that made fiberglass bathtub/showers and standalone showers, every thing seemed relatively the same except we only applied the green thick turtle wax looking stuff around the edges and the liquidy release wax on the finished part and they also built in air hoses that led to problem spots mainly the tub or shower floor and when we would release them they had these plastic shims with a hole on the skinny side leading to a air hose nipple which i thought could be handy here, we would tap it then hit it with a quick blast of air without even hooking the hose up completely, another difference was they had the fiberglass chopper guns that sprayed resin acetone and hardener and chopped up fiberglass filament with spinning razor blades and blasted the whole mix on to the gelcoated mold and a helper would roll the wet mix with little rubber paint roller looking tools.
also what i never understood was how they made the molds, they had an in house engineer designing and making the molds which were huge made out of lumber and mdf and probably fiberglass resin similar to how you did so thank you for solving that mystery, i don't think the engineer started with a stub or what ever it was called he just skipped thay step and made the reverse of a tub i guess
Very cool
What is this part number ! Thanks !

How about it blows air but the AC button will not light up for all 4
It is difficult to say without troubleshooting. Could be the compressor, resistor, or even something simple like the fuse.
I like the end bloopers. Makes me feel less inept haha
😁
