I have a A6500 and a Weeble S and my go to atm is the 18-105 G f4 APS-C power zoom lens since it gives me all the ranges I should need and zooms internally and if I need shallow depth of field I can get a bit on the long end of the zoom range
Yo Vu. Just saw your post in the a7siii FB group. Keep up the great work. I just got my A7siii and have been posting some vids about it too. I'm sure you'll hit 10K in no time!
Awesome video, you had me cracking up with the DN jokes! I have that same lens on a similar setup (Panasonic S5 + cage) and I'm wondering, do you need a lens support when using a gimbal? Hoping the lens mount is strong enough to hold without damaging the lens. Thanks man, I appreciate it!
thanks for sharing... i also have the sigma 24-70 on an a7iii... glad to see i was doing the same thing which focal length to set when balancing.. the only problem i have is the gimbal i'm using... the weebill s is having a hard time when ever i try to zoom.. i guess i need to consider upgrading the gimbal now... looking at rsc2....
Hi Vu, Great insight brother - just a question: I have the same set up as yours: Sony A7S3 with the Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN Art Lens on a DJI RSC 2 ronin gimbal - but I'm finding it hard to balance the lense on this gimbal - if you get a chance - can you please give me the 'Balancing Tilt Numbers' of your set up, it'll just save me time getting the balance right as im getting all stressed about it because its taking me forever getting it to balance - Thanks in advance !
Hey Vu, do you ever switch lenses on your gimbal camera and then rebalance during a wedding day? I find it takes so much time so maybe a 24-70 would solve that?
Hi I'm French filmaker . I have a7siii and tamron 28/75 f2.8 and RSC2 . I want to know , for movements, a 24mm is better to have more stability footage ?
I just got the RSC2 after using the Zhiyun Crane 2 for years. It worked fine at first but now, despite balancing it perfectly, it’s giving me issues when I use my Sony A7iii and Sony 24-70 at 24. Not sure if using this zoom is viable in the long run on this gimbal.
I have sony 7III with gmaster 24/70 on zhiyun crane 3 and i cant get stady shoots above 35mm.Regardles any try. So I'll going to stick with my 24 1.4 g master, 85 18 FE and buy something cheap between .
Zooms on gimbals are a pain in the ass. Give me a wide and a tight and I'll get 'er done. Especially if you're using cine primes, lenses in the same lines are so close in size and weight you shouldn't need to rebalance.
This man is putting out great content. Did I get your pronouns, right? LOL Moving on, the best advice is at the end of the video. This dude keeps it real while other content creators bullshit you to sell you something you really don't need. You can work with what you already have in your arsenal and upgrade as you improve. By the way, he didn't have to pay me 29.99 for me to post this dushbag comment.
Its so funny you mention how wide angle narrow your face because i always uses 24-35 mm for asian faces because we naturally have round face with small features and avoid them for white people because it tends to make the features too big making their Caucasian nose too long🤥. 😂
As a pale face and wedding photographer I must say I agree😂🙈 the dilemma is when I whant both the eyes to seam further apart and the nose not to seam to big at the same time. The struggle is real🤔

That’s a tough call!!! Wide lens is kind of the standard but 85 / 135 can get pretty epic.

Thanks for watching bro

Hi
I have 24-70 sigma with Sony A7R3, but I feel that my RSC2 can’t handle it correct the 360 mode dosnet work any advice ?
Quick debate…Sony 16-55mm f2.8vs Tamron 17-70mm f2.8 for video/weddings with gimbal? GO!
When I use the gimball, is it better to leave the ibis on or off on my sony a7iii?
Thanks for another awesome informative video! Being a "newbie", this video helped me a lot. 👍
Cool man, I appreciate your viewership 🤙🙏
Another thought provoking video
Thanks for watching 🤙🙏
I totally agree bro! It's all situational, there is no "best lens". However, the most versatile, I think is mid-range fast zoom.
Whoops, didn't make it to 6:10 before the comment haha
