Everyone that has emailed the developer just know that his inbox has got flooded with emails for a code! I emailed him and he said he is swamped. If you don't want to wait for a activation code click the k tuner link in my description and read the manual hack with a laptop!

Its for computer codes, it’s gives you a report for the entire car system, it connects to computers car via OBD (on board diagnostic system) The ELM327 is a programmed microcontroller produced by ELM Electronics for translating the on-board diagnostics (OBD) interface found in most modern cars. The ELM327 command protocol is one of the most popular PC-to-OBD interface standards and is also implemented by other vendors.
The original ELM327 is implemented on the PIC18F2480 microcontroller from Microchip Technology.
ELM327 is one of a family of OBD translators from ELM Electronics. Other variants implement only a subset of the OBD protocols.
I’m not sure how that BT interface works with that OBDII SORRY man... read around on some forums.

Once the car isn’t connected to WIFI the apps won’t work, correct? So it must be always connected to either your cell phone hot spot or your home wifi

I have a 2017 Honda Accord with Honda sensing can u reprogram the car by downloading k tuner or is it just the display or do I still need to buy the k tuner ? And do u know how to hack the radio so that I can watch UA-cam while driving cuz it resets every time I turn the car off so do you know how to keep it on and not have to hack it every time you get in the car?
From what I understand, the head unit will slow down with the more apps you install on it , anything on android auto /apple car play I wouldn't bother installing.
Stick with just Netflix or ktuner screen
I have a 2017 crv, and I tried to use/pair my obd2 bt reader so that I can use the torque app. But our head units won't see the obd2 bt adapters because the adapter requests a pin # when pairing, that's why ktunerview, has the disable pin button on its secondary display, a workaround is to use a wifi enabled obd2 reader, same cheap price it just uses a wifi signal to connect to your head unit. I bought the "Veerpeak mini obd2 diagnostic scanner" model vp01 bought on Amazon for $16. Works perfect. You can find the torque apk anywhere online, I'm using torque pro (patched) v1.8.199. Works great.
Note: close the app completely when it using it because it will constantly search for a wifi obd2 reader, which is bad for those that tether their phones wifi, as there can only be one wifi connection at a time.

Do you know by chance how to fix a CarPlay? I have a Honda Accord Sport 2017 and when I connect my iPhone to the USB cable it only works for a few minutes and gets disconnected and won't work at all. Do you think I may need to update the firmware of the car if that's the case, how do I do that?

I'm almost there I tried to do it the laptop way but ended up getting the code for 5 bucks. It worked but it's a 1.2 ktuner and I disabled the bt but now my apk file isn't showing up when I go into Honda installer. you said you had a SI folder and clicked on it but I don't have a SI folder so where do I go next? I have the thumb drive in the car it's in host mode should I turn it to device mode? I'm stuck in the last step.
Yes device mods, SI folder is something I made personally
When you install the hondahack app, it comes preloaded with the correct versions of Netflix, newpipe (lightweight version of UA-cam) waze, Spotify, however when you open Netflix there's a prompt for an app update, decline, always, until told differently.

mine deletes as well. and when i got it done the button for allowing without parking brake it doesnt work so you can only use apps while parked

Bun Bao it will completely void the warranty and make your vehicle get hacked easier bc it cannot get software updates. Don’t do it.

I went the laptop route, had a guy bring his laptop to work, less than 5 min install. Same results as in the video. To unlock pro features, it's $18 via PayPal payment.
What does the pro features get you? I tried the laptop method at first and it didn’t work for me
So im not sure if everyone has this issue , my head unit just got stupid slow after downloading a few apps specially youtube and Netflix never even got it to work . Let me know if you experienced the same ?
Hi , nice work, thank you for posting. I have a question if you don't mind. I have a version of Sygic I paid for. If I install it into my head unit, will it install all the maps into the head unit as well? (Sygic works offline as well as online). So the only thing I'll need my phone to be connected for is the GPS. Am I correct here?

Got an email back, with links to pay for it. Not to much tho if it works well. I purchased the pro and so far seems to be working well no issues. I haven't left the house yet but I'm assuming you will have to have it tethered to your phone while you roll?

There is a way to get to the browser on the 18 i can't find out how to make it stick once the car turns off and making a shortcut doesn't stick it either.... hope this solves that problem by installing an actual app not an enabled restriction

Quick question: got the code for basic. is there any way to run waze through apple car play? because I dont have service to it and would have to hotspot my phone while driving in order to use it. SO any other options here on how to run these apps or how to link the app through to carplay?
I don’t think you can use those apps with out data (hotspot) unless you download offline maps but i haven’t figured that out yet

Hello Torres. Sorry to bug but I was wondering if you noticed the utube app doesn't play the videos anymore. Do you have a way to fix it? I tried to use my USB to use smartphone connect and it doesn't let me. What would I have to do to change that USB so I can use it for smart phone connect? Thank you so much.

I logged onto the site but didn’t use the code. Now my civic is going wack all the light are going off on the dash. Messages Came up on my screen say call your local dealer the car isn’t running properly. I bet it Isn’t a coincidence that this happened the day after I used the hack site.

Thank you for making this awesome video! Really appreciate it! Is this root hack safe? Meaning, Does this make it easier for someone to get into the back door and remotely hack the car? Or can the developer or someone else hack the car using this root hack?
hope im not too late, but to answer your question, this gets root privileges on your car. That's like having permission to do everything, and then some. Having root access is not wise from a security standpoint. It's opening up the door to a ton of possibilities, good and bad. Kinda like leaving your front door open with a sign on it that says "we're open". What you're doing in this case, is giving the developer a ton of trust to not screw with your car. And whether you trust that person is up to you. Another consideration, is likeliness of your car getting hacked. Is it easier for someone to do? Most definitely. If anything, you just opened the door for them, like I said earlier. But how likely is it that a hacker would go after you in particular and have the skill set to attack your car?... For most people, not likely. So rooting your car like this is like leaving the front door open, only you live out in the middle of nowhere, where hardly anybody comes by, and even if they did, would they mess with you? So consider this before you make any decisions of rooting any device.

I have Honda accord 2017 V6 touring. I was looking into different options in the diagnostic menu. I clicked some options in the boot loader and now my head unit is not working (seems like its not able to boot up). It just shows up the Honda link animation when I start the car and after that its all blank. I really have no idea how to get it working again. Honda dealership says it gonna cost around 4-5k on head alone. Can somebody help me in this scenario, any help is appreciated. Thanks

Done... After do the factory data reset and retry with other server link accord.autohack.cn instead of autohack.org/clarion. Work well, and awesome. Anyway the guy from the developer was great and very suppotive.
