Love your ink explorations… I skipped last year’s Inkvent, but when I see Dusted Truffle my mind goes to the mushroom and not to a dessert… My favorite light brownish ink is Wearingeuls Stonecutters Song Greetings from Germany
I thought I had enough inks already. But because of the Dusted Truffle I just preordered this years Inkvent. I always have so much fun with these calendars. Will you do the advent this year? Would love to hear your opinion on this years colors. Thank you for these videos! They inspire me to explore more when it comes to inks.
I have not preordered the 2023 Purple Advent yet but I am SO tempted! I love purple inks almost as much as I love greens so I will likely pick it up haha. Have fun exploring inks!
@my dandelion diaries Oh my gosh! I ordered some ink samples from Vaness last week. One of the inks is KWZ Honey. I inked it in a new pen I purchased with a Medium nib, and I just love it so much! The shading is gorgeous! It does remind me of honey, but it also reminds my of the color of a lion's fur. You're the one who inspired me to try it! Thank you very much! Lisa
Where can I find Diamine's Dusted Truffle in Europe? It looks so nice. I didn't like brown inks at all, but now I really like them. Decided to get Benu Euphoria Earl Grey and I'm looking for an amber brown/orange, not grey, red, yellow or green tinted. A warm brown...perhaps Monteverde's Scotch Brown, Akkerman's Sbrebrown or Hopjesbrown would match the pen?
I'm local to the USA so I am not sure of retailers that carry ink in the Europe, but I know that Goulet Pens (where the Benu is from) sells that ink! All the browns you listed are great warm orange browns! I would also add Robert Oster Australis Oak (a lighter orange brown) or Monteverde Copper Noir (a deeper orange brown with a muddiness to it). Hope that helps!
I love light browns! Japanese is very phonetic and you don't need to think so much as with English. Kyo-iro is pronounced like "Yo" with a 'K' in front (one syllable) and 'Eee-row' ✌🏼
@@mydandeliondiaries Now that I'm more alert (I have insomnia 😅), a better explanation is key-yo - eee-row. Thank you for being willing to learn! There are many that are not. 🌟
I really hope they being back Ina-Ho. I never got it before it was discontinued 😢 All of these are beautiful! I don’t think browns get enough love.
I agree! Brown inks are just warm and inviting :)
Your ink swatching pages are a work of art.
Thank you! I'm excited to flip through the whole book at the end of the year and see all the colors :)
These colors speak to me. I am in love with all of them and added so many to my running wishlist! Dusted truffle is stunning 🍂🦗🐌🐪🧥🤎🤎🤎
I'm happy to have a fellow lover of browns! Dusted Truffle is very pretty 💖

Thank you! I will have to try out the Stonecutters Song, from photos online it looks lovely. 💖
I love the cool toned or neutral ones, thanks for this vid!
Glad you like them!
It's hard not to love these colours 🤎
They are soft and warm like a blanket haha 😄
Yay loved this video and all your inky videos! I def have added some new lite brown inks to my wishlist!!
Yay! Thank you! 💖
I love these explorations! I have never been much of a brown gal, but these are awesome, I need to go on a sample hunt…
Go for it! I love Goulet Pens, and Vanness for samples the most, but Pen Chalet has a lot of variety as well :)

Love these! Thank you for sharing! I have been using an Essential Oil Roller holder to hold my ink samples ;)
That is a great idea! Thank you so much 💓
FYI -Hopjes is a favorite Dutch candy.
That's amazing! I want to try it now haha. I wonder if there are any sellers in the USA that carry it :)
Yes. Amazon carries it. Rademaker Hopjes Coffee Candy is my favorite. @@mydandeliondiaries
Thank you for all the info, folks 😍 That’s such a cute name 🥰

Will you be doing a flip through at the end of the book?
Yes! Well, a flip at the end of the year :) I till have about a 1/4 of the book left, and I don't know how long it will take me to finish it.

You're the best! Thank you!! I have been working more on getting these pronunciations down 😉
