@@humanfirst11 because am an adult and no one can stop me 😂 storage-wise, am doing pretty good with some containers in my room. I know a lot of people who have bigger ink hoards than i do so it's not totally out of the ordinary for me. As for finishing a bottle, not yet but am halfway through some favorites. I do think it'll take me a lifetime to finish these but i enjoy buying rare uniqe colored inks from japan/korea which is the bulk of my collection.
I just got a bottle of Sailor Manyo Shirakashi. It's a rich olive green with a striking reddish color shift in the shading. Robert Oster Bronze is a similar shade of green but with more orange shading than red. They are both really gentle warm greens. Robert Oster Smokescreen is another ink I just picked up recently, and it's a cool greyish brown.
I am more of a diamine fan mainly it is one of the first brand i try (it is pretty affordable as well). I usually go with smaller size because I did not write a lot. I am on a opposite side because i lovetge cooler tone. I use a lot of blues, grey and teal colors! Seeing these swatch mae me want to try more of orangy, autumn colors!
Love this color palette! If you haven’t already, you should try Vinta’s La Paz ink, it’s a beautiful mustard yellow that shades to brown and I think it would fit in very well with your collection 😊
Oooh! Will def try this thanks for recommending ☺️ I was a bit concerned on the readability so I decided to get Ochre (didn’t see that much swatches for La Paz so will google it now)
I was in luck with Tsukushi 2 weeks ago @ Scriptus in Toronto, when a vendor sold an open box vintage 30 ml Iroshizuku bottles in discount. It is a very beautiful brown, I agree. Lots of bottles now, so it will mean writing with them for awhile, my palette falls into mainly blues, blacks & greens.
You have beautiful handwriting! You should definitely not skip the video through your writing process, I really wanted to watch you write! Good video, love you choices.
Mam saw this video now your handwriting is very good a lot of UA-camrs who do ink and pen rewiew handwriting is very bad continue the good work thanks god bless
If i may share my experience here I had a similar experience with all dip pen nibs and fountain pen inks but is kept trying to use them any way leaving blobs of ink on my writing but eventually it got better ...In my experience do not wash the nibs to much just give it a swish under the water
Vinta Leyte is my Pilot Kakuno's mainstay ink! Discovered Vinta from watching one of your older videos ✨ i only really use green and brown ink, so Rikyucha IIIIS interesting 🧐 In other news, i'm feeling inspired to swatch my ink collection like this now 😅
13:28 so sad that Pilot discontinued the golden color Ina-ho. Maybe the closest still around is Noodler’s Golden Brown? But Pilot inks tend to flow wetter than Noodler’s.
Thanks a lot for watching. 😄 You can find my camera gear in the video description. But here I used: camera → Canon EOS M50 Mk II / 22mm & 11-22mm lens & Dji Pocket 2 audio → Rode VideoMicro & Zoom H1n tripod → Manfrotto Befree
I use F and it works really well - if you want to see more shading try M. But Inaho doesn’t really have much shading, and I noticed that Inaho only works the best (at least from my exp) with Pilot nibs!
Am just amazed at your ink self control. I literally have arpund 150 bottles and am afraid my lifetime is not enough to finish them all 😂😂
Hahahahaha 😂 now that’s a collection!
No one tried to stop you?? I mean even storage of 150 bottles of ink is in itself a huge issue. Were you able to finish even one bottle completely?

@@ahnpan njoy your collection!
@@ahnpan hey as long as you're using the inks you have, then honestly it shouldn't be an issue. I do hope you're enjoying using your inks!!
Beautiful handwriting and I particularly like you capital S’s.
Thank you!

Ah yes! My friend has Shirakashi and it’s great :-) thanks for suggesting the ROs! Haven’t explored RO that much but I loved Caffe Crema.
Such beautiful colours, thanks for sharing your swatching. The greens that have pink and brown tones remind me of leaves changing colour
Oh wow I didn't think of that! Love that :) you're welcome!

I used to have Diamine but I don't reach more them as much, so I destashed my bottles :) Def try the warm colors, they're great too!

Yes! Tsukushi is great

gorgeous handwriting!
Thanks!
100% aesthetic colors!!! 💛💛💛
Thank you!
I managed to get a bottle of Tsukushi before everyone ran out and my goodness do I love it. It's just a shame I fell in love with it NOW :').
Yay! And YES it’s a gorgeous brown
Thank you for the local suggestions! I'm gonna try the Vinta, especially the Leyte.
Vinta is great! One of my faves. Price point isn't so bad either
@@AbbeySy yeah! It's on the cheaper side compared to others! Ugh! Can't wait to buy my first bottle.
Your dip pen skills are amazing. I always have trouble getting dip pens to work. 🤔
Thanks! Credits to my hand lettering background lol but dip pens are def a challenge still for me (reloading and all)

Hahaha gooo happy swatching

I only recently got a bunch of ink samples to try out and I wish I'd seen this before! I'd have definitely added a few more colours to my lineup!
Always more to try 😉 I hope you find ones you’ll like from the samples!
What pen do you use? The black one, I couldn’t find it in description, thanks!
Love the warm tones! I want to try Iroshizuku and Sailor inks, I only have Vinta Inks (and I agree they're nice entry level inks) and J.Herbin inks
definitely try Pilot or Sailor, you'll love the colors and wet flow!
Wow that paper holds up really well
Right! In fairness to MD paper
Can I ask what nib you use on your dip pen? I often find that my fountain pen inks are way too liquid for nib pens and just don't write. TIA 💕
I think it’s a G!
So amazing thanks for showing your collection
Thanks for watching!
Where do they sell the Vinta brand inks? I’m in love with your staple inks 🤗
They have a website I think! In the US I think Vanness Pens has it
Hi. I just watched this video and enjoyed it. Did I misunderstand, or are you selling these inks?
They are not for sale, they are from my collection.
What nib size do you find works best with Pilot Inaho?
I use F and it works really well - if you want to see more shading try M. But Inaho doesn’t really have much shading, and I noticed that Inaho only works the best (at least from my exp) with Pilot nibs!
what are the inks that are okay for hobonichi's tomoe river paper?
All inks are good for TRP. TRP is fountain pen friendly
Very, very good. RS
